Desperate MSM Moves to Kill Off Article Comments

Vatic Note:   I noticed this when I visited the Daily Mail in England, Comments were closed, and you will also find it happening on the net, and the same with other MSM elsewhere which surprised me and now this explains why.  The net is easier to identify the disinfo sites,  since those that are disinfo will act differently than those who are truth tellers and seekers.  Watch and see. In the MSM, its harder since all the MSM say the same stock propoganda, with no truth tellers.  If they say "comments closed" or don't have a comments section, then you know its a disinfo site and they don't want the other side of the issue being presented.

It makes sense becuase whenever the MSM tried to snow us we came out, not only with the truth, but also with the evidence as well, so what can the press say when you also include the proof.  Nothing, so they either "closed" or cut out the comments section so it won't happen again.  So what do they think we will do about it?   Right, we will go to the net to find out the truth.  Now how stupid is that????  Right now the MSM here in the states has lost 70% of their readership and that is affecting advertising revenues.   If they do not start doing their job as the fourth column, they will be leaving their legacy to Alex Jones (unless he continues to cover for the Israelis')  and others who will gladly fill in the gap that their neglect has created.

New wave of online censorship as establishment panics about losing ability to dictate reality

(The Mail on line is just one example)
Desperate to cling onto their ability to dictate reality, the crumbling mainstream media is beginning to kill off article comment sections in a cynical bid to silence dissenting voices.
Studies confirm that article comment sections – for better or worse – are heavily swaying public opinion. How many times have you read a mainstream news article about NSA spying, drones, gun control or any other other hot button issue where the author sides with the establishment, only to have their argument completely eviscerated by a deluge of irate respondents in the comment section?

Recent polls show that trust in mainstream media is hovering at record lows. After largely failing to influence the court of public opinion via paid trolls, the establishment is starting to panic and is responding by moving to cull comment sections altogether.

Popular Science and BoingBoing.net recently announced their decision to kill comment sections on their website. The New York Times also recently indicated that it is scaling back comments and removing them from some articles altogether.

As an excellent Daily Tech piece highlights, Popular Science admitted that its decision to pull the comment section was in order to preach a “scientific doctrine” on global warming without being challenged.

The origin of the word “doctrine” is to indoctrinate. Therefore, Popular Science is taking the most unscientific approach possible – by censoring debate and stifling alternative ideas – in order to indoctrinate its readers.

The decision to kill comment sections on news websites will only result in the mainstream media losing traffic to alternative sites which allow free expression and do not resort to censorship.

Watch the video above for the full breakdown of this audacious new attempt to stifle free speech by the corporate media.

Here's my response to the claim that global warming is "settled science":
Almost three years ago, there was a survey of over 300 scientists from all parts of the world. Using the Delphi method of surveying, they asked what the most important mindset for a scientist was. The consensus was that "uncertainty" was the most important mindset. Unless the scientist is uncertain about something, there can be no curiosity nor logic nor anything else useful to the advancement of science.
Here's another:
During the 1970's, Josh McDowell wrote that the National Library in Paris had seven miles of shelf space occupied exclusively by science books containing supposedly scientific "facts" that science no longer believes. I'd like to know how much more space has been required for the forty years since then.

This is exactly what happened at the removing the shackles blog, remember when the now disbanded OPPT first came out at the beginning of the year? a load of us were questioning their motives and making points on their postings, well, Sophia and D were so upset at us the readers that they had the comments shut down, the actually did to us what the government does, they silenced us!!! they didn't want to hear the truth, OPPT had no money, Heather was hopping to coerce people into filing papers they didn't understand, she lied repeatedly about getting ready to disburse funds to people, it was a
joke! I don't read their blog anymore but I think heather is still posting stuff.Anybody knows what happened to the guy that got 30 years for using their paperwork? Heather said she was going to help him but she never really did anything for him.His name was Cody Williams i think.
