Vatic Note: My question is which bioweapons facility did it come from ? Israel? USA? Its important we find out and prosecute to the full extent of the law. As we have mentioned more than once on this blog, this below, if used by man as a bioweapon against their own population, is a major felony criminal act of first degree assault and battery, first degree attempted murder, first degree murder for those who died from this, as well as an act of TREASON. And both, if resulting in deaths are death penalty or life imprisonment offenses. PROSECUTION and justice are the systems way of dealing with such acts. If we committed such crimes, there would be no hesitation about prosecuting. We must, likewise, have the same damn attitude toward the 1%er's and push for such prosecutions.
Having said all that, it must be carefully noted the role of Andre Weber in the persecution of Kevin Arnett, founder of the International Criminal Court that has been investigating and threatening to file criminal charges against the Queen of England and her consort, Prince Phillip for the brutal satanic murder of 10 native American Canadian Children. Webber also knows more than most people, so he can't use the excuse of "ignorance".
He unquestioningly sided with the Queen against Kevin. Kevin is publically defending himself and doing a good job of it, but the side effect is now, "doubt" is seriously being thrown on Andre Webber and his role in that persecution publically of Kevin on the side of the Queen, whom we are discovering has a biological as well as a deep and abiding Satanic connection to the Khazars, who practice satanic rituals using children and drinking their blood.
Add to that, the fact that his guest whistle blower is a member of the financial community with extensive background and experience in the international banking field. It is possible she is a whistleblower, but then, if she is not doing this for some reason for the bankers who want us in fear and trepidation in order to manipulate us into doing their bidding, then how come she isn't dead?
There are currently in the USA 71 individually dead bankers, taken out one at a time. And done so either by the good guys or likewise, by the bad guys, if these bankers were having an attack of conscience, then its possible they became a threat. I am always suspicious of "reasons why" a whistle blower does this, IF they were part of the cabal.
What I got from this was that she is coming forward because she got sick, and had to deal with the problems associated with the illness. So, its possible she is a legit whistleblower. But caution is the by word.
ATTN: There is the main article, and then two appendixes. The appendixes are as critical to read as this main article. If this whistleblower is legit, then this video is explosive and can be used in criminal prosecution of those involved, so keep and print out this whole thing and download the video, since this maybe purged by the powers that be.
She discloses that these man-made diseases may well have been used TO MURDER AMERICAN SOLDIERS IN IRAQ THAT THEY CALLED THE "GULF WAR SYNDROME". Further, we did a blog some time ago showing and proving that the khazar Israeli's were sniping and killing American soldiers to manipulate the soldiers into paranoia against the Iraqi civilians who they would then over react and murder innocent civilians.
WE also know that the khazar zionists occupying Israel, have a massive and high level bioweapons research facility, and that they have done biological research. We did a blog on that fact as well. The only pure psycopaths that we have working in our government are khazar zionist infiltrators. So what is going on out here, is a gift from the attackers of the USS liberty. its time to take them down and stop all this nonsense. If a small country like Iceland can do it and end up in recovery, and jailing their bankers, well, then, so can we.
Canadian Banker whistleblower Marcia Pavlis: Morgellons was released by US government as a bioweapon

VANCOUVER, BC – Just days after a report by the New York Times that iconic Canadian singer Joni Mitchell has been hospitalized with Morgellons, another Canadian woman, Canadian banker whistleblower Marcia Pavlis, who blew the whistle on unethical practices by her employer HSBC bank in Victoria BC Canada and subsequently developed Morgellons, goes public in this highly substantive NewsInsideOut.com interview with Alfred Lambremont Webre.
In this interview, Marcia Pavlis, who has now become a public advocate of Morgellons awareness, demonstrates how Morgellons appears to be a release of a bioweapon by the US government upon the public.
If this is the case, such an act is a violation of international humanitarian law prohibiting crimes against humanity and genocide, and must be catalogued along with a rising list of war crimes charges against the US government and its officials and responsible employees, including members of any international war crimes racketeering organization carrying out such biowarfare to depopulate humanity. (VN: be careful puppets who work for the infiltrators and AIPAC, you can see them building a case to put all the blame on you for what is happening. I would make sure you cover yourselves by stashing proof of the infiltrators complicity in all the crimes currently being committed. They sold out their minions in WW II as well who then got tried and executed. It sounds like your future after WW III, as well.)

APPENDIX II – MORGELLONS RESEARCH – BACKGROUND COMPILATION BY MARCIA PAVLIS (From biological experts who have studied these medical conditions.)
October 26, 2005 – February 16, 2008 a man with the avatar tamtam posted about what he knew about something he called Silent Superbug in a an online forum “Human Biology” and a topic “Fiber Disease Thread”. He made at least 404 posts. I participated in in the same forum from August 30, 2006 until the topic was closed down by the administrators of the website. I believe that tamtam’s real name is Daniel Bell VanEeden, that he is a scientist from the Netherlands, and that he is the person in the white lab coat in the first silentsuperbug video.
He was trying to help us and he called this a crime against humanity. People of the Earth need to know about the release of this synthetic model organism CBL-001 Phoma Sp. (Pleospora), Silent Superbug, Fiber Disease, or what many wrongly call Morgellons. Please do what you can to help and share this information everywhere you can.
VATIC NOTE 2: What I did in order to make this appendix more reader friendly is I took all of Tamtam's posts on this subject and made one big appendix with everything he wrote about and it was extensive. There is no question he is a biologist as you will see when you read all of this. You are more than welcome to go to the link of Andrew webbers site and read these with the dates etc on it, but I found it too confusing, so I made it as an article with paragraphs etc, without changing a single word to do with the subject at hand. I hope its more user friendly, since it was for me.
So please copy this since it has all the science and proof you need about this being a man made disease and why it works the way it does. It can be used in a court case as evidence since we know his name and can supeona him to testify. Now you know why I consider the appendixes so important, or at least as important as the video and the written text of the article. We finally have something where the system can be brought into play and a trial can be conducted along with defendants. I have hope if we can get the system to work. If not, then we have to take control of it and purge these people out of here.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM ANY BIOLOGISTS WORKING IN THIS PARTICULAR FIELD OF BIOLOGY TO KNOW IF THIS IS LEGITIMATE AND ANY STUDIES CAN BE CONFIRMED. SOMEONE NEEDS TO CHECK THE PATENT OFFICE FOR ANY AND ALL PATENTS FILED BY THE CDC TO SEEIF THIS ONE IS AMONG THEM. We already have proof of the artificial snow patent that the CDC created, so its possible they did the same with this disease.

Fibers are stray target of experimental biology.
In particular experimental micro biology class 3 (C3)
That cellulose type fibers move on its own is because it are micro organisms that go dormant (pseudo apoptotic) In particular micro organisms that breath and become static because of low metabolism.
During formation they show nerve cell type behavior.
Nerve cell type behavior they will show in particular when they unite as a fiber most resembling a shaft that is related to the mold of the cyanobacterium.
This dominant type gene expression in the form of a semi autonomous and sensing fiber is in fact a break away group cell.
A variant form.
Its character is inbetween plant(cellulose) and insect (chitin)cell.
Single cell micro organisms with an aquired property called quorum sensing will make the organisms act multi cellular.
Quorum sensing is a stem cell like property.
Quorum sensing micro organisms unite hence differentiate during formation of a multi cellular organism.
Hence multi lineage differentiation synonymous with stem cell.
————————————————————————————–
Fast dividing tissue forms a base(culture medium) for this organism.
This type target can only be kept alive and cultered in test animal.
————————————————————————————–
Fibers show inbetween behavior like “plant cell that think they are insect cell”
The agent its intermediate stage resembles a protoplasm.
A transparent cloud with basic properties preserved.
All elements are quorum sensing
All elements differentiate
check: chitin / cellulose wound dressing
by tamtam » Sun Oct 30, 2005 9:58 pm Again: You are infected with a modified cyanobacterium that will differentiate, since it is made quorum sensing, in fact a stem cell like property. Also nerve cell behavior is part of specialized cell by this micro organism. (micro organisms are single cell; when made quorum sensing they act multi cellular; multi cellular is synonymous with stemming from one type cell that will differentiate) Activity in or near skin nerves may cause a pain signal (a bite)
Specks is secretome of this element and most resembles cellulose and tanned chitin like polymer. Fibers are variant and resemble most plant like cell that think they are insect like cell” Its plant like behavior relates to cyano and its insect behavior to e.g lepidoptera. More insect cell technology is present and mammal in-put
Expression relates to sensing cell of plant and insect.
Try diluted copper sulphate in a neutral base( baby shampoo) Keep wet for a while and shower. Repeat.

Do not ingest copper sulphate

Observe how lesions stain, dry out and cure within days. Your infestation with sensing protein fibers is also gone. Report your experience.

However, Infection with this element is per definition not possible to cure with topical treatment. Sincerely, tamtam
by tamtam » Mon Oct 31, 2005 9:58 pm Correct observation of Greema.
Still; copper sulphate is number one because it disrupts its cyano based architecture.
The target represents a fusion of a major parasitic protozoa including multiple mammal gene in-put and multiple insect cell in-put. Silk worm is not excluded. Lepidoptera is dominant in culture. The target is brought in culture. Observation is based on about 180 cultures. Multiple gene expression synomymous with multi lineage differentiation is fact: thus stem cell related. This particular affinity is two fold. 1/ because its quorum sensing
2/ because a reject in the form of a keratin pump Until further notice, Sincerely,

by tamtam » Mon Nov 07, 2005 6:01 pm Microbiologists have borrowed the term “pheromone” from entomologists because they believe that insect like chemical signaling and communication also can occur among bacteria. But the idea of bacterial quorum sensing, which came under serious consideration only in the last decade, is still as much theory as established fact, Winans cautioned. The presence of a second, seemingly redundant apparatus for quorum sensing in Pseudomonas bacteria “makes us wonder if something else also is going on,” Winans said. Its base architecture is a cyanobacterium fused with a major parasitic protozoa
(to include cyclical and variant glycoprotein properties) Multiple dominant gene expression can be observed in culture. Also random re-combination is fact.
Re-combinations represent variant. Fibers are variant (novel plant/ insect like cell)
Hence; multi lineage differentiation is fact. Multi lineage differentiation is in particular stem cell related. Also quorum sensing is a stem cell like property
by tamtam » Tue Nov 08, 2005 3:19 pm Fine Dr. Martin depends on a theory.
I read his article and it does not apply. Inconsistent. But, Dr. Martin will be asked to describe video footage that will be made available soon. Dr. Martin is one of the best because he has tried to explain and take the matter very serious. “tamtam” just gives a description of what can be observed in culture. Fibers can not be cultered – to my knowledge. The inner ear and its “significant” involvement wil also be tried to explain.
Indeed a line is running from corner of mouth and nose folds over cheek into hair line. But more is the case. A distribution pattern exist that concerns all that are affected with this element. Sincerely, tamtam

by tamtam » Thu Dec 08, 2005 10:51 pm All should be under investigation(…) “Simply” a modified infectious agent is the cause. Multiple pathway relates to multi lineage differentiation. One modified element diversifies into a set commensal resembling micro organisms. Some elements can reconstitute the base. Base element is a fusion between cyano and a trypanosoma like element. All are with characteristic properties.
Trypanosoma is a mayor parasitic protozoa hence a parasitic life cycle is part of its nature(gametes etc) This cycle has been recorded The video footage (see link) shows Cyano. Mold= cellulose like Artifacts= protein crystals(chitinase related) Giant cell produce (pigmented) clouds and seem cause of the genesis of colored filament.
Note that filament is not connected to e.g mold: this property relates most to presence of protoplasm (cell less cell) The particular culture is “in a way” a projection of the wing of an insect (probably lepidoptera) or at least projection of specific properties now not 2D but 3D extented (2D wingpattern related) Explanation is interpretation and survey.
A specialist could go into minute detail but would also reveal to be well informed about this particular type target. However, Infection constitutes infection with a cyclical made (novel) micro organism. As earlier mentioned: a set commensal resembling micro organism can reconstitute the cycle. Because multiple systems are present,
transmission by multiple pathway is supposed to be the case. Best is to see this type infection as novel. This environmental resistant and contagious element should be on the agenda at once. Fact is also that You talk about at least twenty five years concentration on effects and not on cause- by the industry. The identification of this target will have major consquences. Most will relate to degenerative disease and/or long or life long suppressive therapy and nosocomial infection in specific. Stay tuned!
Sincerely, tamtam

——————————————————————————–
Dear TamTam and others, First, I want to respond to a few things on the forum and initially would like to voice my objection to the secrecy. I honestly believe that people have nothing to fear. By hiding behind false names one is forced to question the veracity and integrity. Like it or not, people will frequently base their opinion on the persons track record and scientific background. Medical science tends to exist in a framework of free interaction with secrecy being viewed as a cover of something less than pleasant. Now having voiced my peeve, I wanted to go on to a critical area, and that is treatment. Regardless of theory, everyone I know with this horrid disease is searching for cure or approaches which will improve the disabling and frustrating disease. In this context, we often learn a great deal by seeing what is effective treatment and from that gain a better idea, albeit incomplete, of what we are treating.
We have had remarkable and consistent success based on a protocol which is freely available. Essentially we treat the bacterial infection with Septra and Avelox (moxifloxacan). We have observed that the lesions heal rapidly in most cases. However, there clearly is a parasitic component present. Based on numerous clinical observations we initiated treatment with Biltricide (praziquantel) on a weekly basis with intermittent doses of Stromectol (ivermectin). For the insect infestations, we have been using Diatomaceous Earth as a pack. In addition we are very cautious in treatment of the eyes because we have seen cases of blindness. Thus we use Ophthalmic drops and in severe and selected cases we also use Diflucan.We have had remarkable success with every patient. Our team has also cultured the bacteria Stenotrophomonas Maltophilia. It is certainly possible that the organism has been genetically modified, however, it almost always responds to the antibiotic combination. We are identifying the worm that is involved but are yet to have a definitive diagnosis. But this has not stopped us from treating the condition with the best available knowledge we have. We welcome scientific discourse and dislike shadowy secrecy. Our desire is to work together to gain as much knowledge as possible to eradicate the disease. I am convinced there is absolutely nothing to fear except for idiosyncratic paranoid ideation. So basically guys, I’m out in the open. Let’s all work together to stop the tremendous suffering. Turpentines are number one microbe killers (e.g Tamiflu is based on an acid derived from star anise oil) Its rather safe. First reaction could be activation because the oil will dissolve a crust like film that is formed by the

Mar. 20, 2006 PLANNING FOR THE PANDEMIC Sandro Galea is not your typical epidemiologist. Instead of studying microbes, he studies minds–human minds and how they might respond to an outbreak of SARS or Ebola or avian flu. “Once a virus hits the ground, there isn’t time to contemplate how the public might react,” says Galea. “We need to better understand why people react the way they do and how we can positively influence their behavior.” The public psychology of emerging diseases is a new field of research, and Galea, 34, is one of its pioneers. A professor of epidemiology at the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health, he was studying the psychosocial effects of 9/11 on New Yorkers when he was tapped to look at how Canadians were responding to the 2003 SARS outbreak and quarantines in Toronto. The first thing he learned was that people tend to react irrationally–rushing to the hospital before they have symptoms, for example, or staying home even when they are desperately ill. “The problem is that the more irrational the public’s reactions to an outbreak, the harder it becomes to control and contain the disease,” says Galea. Also, the harder the economy is hit: the Congressional Budget Office recently put the potential costs of a flu pandemic in the U.S. at $675 billion—half of it caused by fear and confusion.

by tamtam » Tue Jun 06, 2006 8:37 pm The Hidden Problems Of The NIH Why This News Is Important To Everyone By Ted Twietmeyer tedtw@frontiernet.net
6-4-6 The National Institute of Health (NIH) is considered the largest research funding organization in the world, with a 28 BILLION dollar annual budget. They support research which often leads to developments of new therapies, drugs, diagnostic equipment and much more. Industry funds research based on potential profits, whereas NIH funded research is determined by the agency’s internal agenda.
The following is extracted from a page one article in “Nature,” dated May 4, 2006. Direct quotations are shown in double quotes. This very highly respected periodical is read by scientists of various disciplines worldwide, with headquarters in London, UK. It is considered an impressive accomplishment for any scientist to have their work published in this extremely conservative, main stream science magazine. Many consider stories printed in Nature as though it came forth from the lips of God. Considering the due diligence the periodical does with submitted works, they have earned this reputation. This essay will leave out medical jargon as much as possible to get the point across.
NIMH – The Mental Health Division is one of 27 independent institutes
SOME ADDITIONAL NIH INFORMATION TO HELP CLARIFY THE ORGANIZATION’S SIZE
* The original facility (The Warren Grant Magnuson Clinical Center) is a 14-story building, 7 million bricks, more than 5,000 rooms, nine miles of corridor, 2.5 million square feet, 15 outpatient clinics and a Laboratory Medicine Department housed in a space the size of a football field. Before the Hatfield Center was opened, the Magnuson Center housed 24 inpatient care units.
* The new facility, the 870,000 square foot Mark O. Hatfield Clinical Research Center, has 242 inpatient beds and 90 day-hospital stations. Groundbreaking was in November 1997. Dedication ceremonies were on Sept.22, 2004.
NIH LEADERSHIP CHANGE PROBLEMS
The National Institutes of Health are having problems with Elias Zerhouni at the helm. Zerhouni of course is a Bush-appointed favorite. He hails from Algeria and is a radiologist by training. His work as administrator at John’s Hopkins University is well known. Nature refers to the NIH as a “potentially poisoned chalice.” Such an endearing term, for an agency so revered for advancing medical research, and providing billions in new revenue for the medical industry. Zerhouni also is working with a project with the title “Roadmap.” (Remember the Pentagon’s new roadmap? Now NIH has one, too.) The purpose of Roadmap (which irritates people at NIH today) is to coordinate activities among its numerous branches. Some critics complain it isn’t working, claiming it “is diverting resources and attention away from basic scientific research.”
Part of Roadmap is to convert basic research into clinical practice, creating new instruments, medicines and procedures such used in doctor’s offices and hospitals. There is yet another aspect of the organization that concerns many – managing the organization’s “flat budget.” It has remained that way since 2003. The NIH budget was doubled between 1998 and 2003. A flat budget is very curious, considering the sharp increase in bird flu and other diseases we hear about constantly. Well-funded biologists are now attacking Roadmap because of it’s problems. Roadmap was published in 2003 and costs 400 million annually. It also intends to make basic molecular biology a broader initiative. Nature feels that Zerhouni’s efforts in this area “deserve support.”
Nature also states that the biggest problem Roadmap has isn’t with scientists, but with Zerhouni’s association with Bush. Previous health secretaries made earlier efforts to centralize the organization. One such infamous former health secretary, Tommy Thomson gave centralization his best shot, too. However, centralization is perceived by the scientific community as threatening independent research, and also the credible results of research. Scientists are concerned that Zerhouni has not defended their autonomy as well as they believe he could have. Zerhouni also must show Congress what is being done with the doubled budget of the agency. There is also great concern that “not enough young scientists are winning first-time grants during the most creative period of their careers.”
SCANDAL PROBLEMS
Zerhouni’s career leading NIH has not been smooth because of a serious conflict of interest. This resulted in “new rules governing scientists’ interaction with industry.” Congressional investigators found a wealth of commercial deals, of which the “NIH itself had no records.” Today “the Bethesda campus…is not a particularly happy place.” New post-911 security measures have not helped matters, damaging the college-like campus atmosphere. And “back-biting is seldom far beneath the surface.” Roadmap increases the director’s power in the organization. Staff and those who receive grants are not persuaded that Zerhouni is on their side.
COMMENTARY
So what does all this mean? NIH is yet another Bush-directed organization, micro-managed quietly in the background. Bush installed Zerhouni who will do exactly what he’s told. And a stifling security-paranoid atmosphere that can create a paranoid industrial intellectual property environment. For the entire world, this will almost certainly equate to a loss of creativity and innovation, with a subsequent loss of required medical advancements to fight increasing diseases. The aspartame fiasco showed how one past administration influenced the release of a toxic food additive. The so-called Zerhouni “Roadmap” has the bad smell of yet another Bush-control-freak plan, which even the Emperor penguins at the pole can smell. Centralization is a fascist and communist ideal, and will do great damage when taken too far. It’s impossible to schedule productivity in any research field – such pressures can easily produce shoddy research results. One can only imagine how many times a week Zerhouni must report in to his real boss Bush – who the world already knows was self-appointed. In the end, it will be the people of the world that will suffer as emerging diseases outpace research. Scientists in England already know that funding for research is very thin. So if the United States doesn’t fund research – who will? But what is population control all about? Keeping people sick and dying. These same people keep the multi-billion dollar healthcare industry healthy. One doctor said it perfectly – “a patient cured is a customer lost.” Ted Twietmeyer

by tamtam » Tue Jun 06, 2006 8:47 pm Saturday, June 3, 2006 CDC to investigate mystery disease Sufferers describe ghastly symptoms; but some doctors skeptical of claims By ERIN ALLDAY SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE
The Bay Area might be home to a small cluster of a horrifying and as-yet-incurable disease that leaves patients with open sores all over their bodies and strange, unidentifiable objects poking out of their skin. Or not. It’s possible that this mystery disease is all in their heads. The disease is called Morgellons, and no one knows what causes it or if it’s even real.
After more than a year of pressure from patients convinced they have Morgellons, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will begin investigating the ailment for the first time and determine, once and for all, whether it exists. The CDC started organizing a committee this week for that purpose.
“Not a day passes when I don’t talk to somebody who claims to have this,” said CDC spokesman Dan Rutz. “In the absence of any objective review, people have jumped to conclusions and found each other on the Internet and formed their own belief structure. We really need to debunk this if there isn’t anything to it or identify if there is indeed a new, unrecognized disease that needs attention.”
No one knows how long Morgellons has been around, but about four years ago a South Carolina mom who says her three children have the disease was researching their symptoms and found reference to a 1674 medical study that described a similar condition, called Morgellons.
The disease sounds like a nightmare. In fact, one Web site claims Morgellons was “invented” recently to help promote a summer horror movie. A search on the Internet reveals dozens of people who have posted magnified photos of their symptoms — usually twisted, thread-like protrusions from the skin and sometimes hazy images that look like small bugs.
It doesn’t help convince skeptical doctors that many sufferers complain of hard-to-believe symptoms. One San Francisco woman describes “tiny green shrimp” that come from her face, and she said she saw a fly pop out of her right eye. Even doctors and patients who believe Morgellons exists cringe at such reports.
“There really are physical symptoms that occur in people who are not crazy, although once they have it, it usually makes them pretty crazy,” said San Francisco Lyme disease specialist Dr. Raphael Stricker, who has seen several patients with Morgellons symptoms. Stricker and a handful of other doctors believe Morgellons is somehow related to Lyme disease because so many patients have already been diagnosed with Lyme disease.
Stricker and a colleague, nurse practitioner Ginger Savely, have written the only paper on the disease, published this year in the American Journal of Clinical Dermatology. There have been no clinical studies. The non-profit Morgellons Research Foundation, founded by the South Carolina mom, is the only group keeping track of the disease worldwide. It uses a self-reporting system that encourages people who think they have Morgellons to register with the foundation Web site. So far, 4,131 households have registered, about 300 of them in the Bay Area.
San Francisco resident Pat Miller, 49, said he went to 11 doctors with his symptoms after he developed an itchy spot on the back of his head that turned into a sore and finally a “mound of skin … with deep black pits.” He also describes a “crawling sensation.”
Dermatologists said the black pits were blackheads. Almost every doctor he saw diagnosed him with delusional parasitosis — a psychiatric condition with symptoms eerily similar to Morgellons, in which sufferers believe they are infested with parasites.
Eventually, someone referred Miller to Savely, who is considered one of the few Morgellons experts. She has about 125 patients at her San Francisco practice.
“These people, I feel terrible for them. They’re suffering a ghastly disease, and no one will believe them, no one will help them, and in fact, everyone tells them they’re crazy,” Savely said. “If any one of these people came to me alone, I might have been skeptical of their stories. But when you have more than 100 people, and their stories are identical, that’s impressive.”
Few doctors have examined under a microscope samples of the multicolored filaments or black dots patients describe. Many who have seen the evidence brush it off as lint or dirt or something else from around the house.
Stricker said he has studied samples under a microscope, and they look like cellulose fibers, which typically would be found in plant material.
“When you see it, it’s very hard to explain away. These patients have something that’s really not delusional,” Stricker said.
Still, plenty of doctors disagree. Many Morgellons symptoms — the feeling of something crawling beneath the skin, the open sores, even patients’ conviction that they are absolutely infested with a parasite — can be attributed to delusional parasitosis, doctors say. The sores are self-inflicted, caused when people scratch at a spot they think is infected, they say.
“There are a huge number of people out there with (delusional parasitosis), and most of them are not getting adequate treatment because they have this fixed belief,” said Dr. Dan Eisen, a University of California-Davis dermatologist.

by tamtam » Thu Jun 08, 2006 6:55 pm Some interpretation: Fact is that all involved disciplines interact in more or less unwritten form -if it is about the unusual. Remember; researchers depend on the Industry for research budget. If findings are confronting for ongoing development no research budget will be granted. Remember too: controversial findings are never part of a research proposal. Still; if granted; research findings easily can be neutralized after acquisition. Non disclosed research is never point of discussion. In a way it simply does not exist. If things go wrong it gets a seal with the number 50 or 120 years. Clear and evident can be stated that some worlds are too much on its own. Its all about capital interest and everybody will understand this. A pathogen represents an enormous amount of money and disease is never subject of attempt to be eradicated. All is about control and regulation. Also the department of justice would feel seriously embarrassed if a broad spectrum anti biotic against criminality would appear on the market. In a way systems happily parasitize on what seems to be the fact. However, the remarkable thing about this particular infectious agent will be that the agent will prove to be widely disseminated. In a way democracy finally seems to have arrived to know in the form of a primary pathogen. I advise You to seek litigation. Sincerely, tamtam

Buffer eyes first with eye cream (terramycine eye cream, by pfizer) Mint oil is very effective and the oil will stimulate blood flow. You can wash the oil away after 10 minutes. Topical application will not erradicate infection. Ask Your GP for oral Itraconazole or Bactrim. Say that it is rational to treat the infection as protothecosis.
All lesions including healed lesions will become reactive during effective treatment and all affected skin will have to grow out. Sincerely, tamtam
by tamtam » Sat Jun 24, 2006 8:24 pm Read standard treatment against protothecosis. It would be (IM) Amikacin or (IV) Amphotericin B.
Last would indicate hospitalization. Partially effective is Itraconazole (cide)
and Bactrim (static) Infection can be compared with cocidioidomycosis or paracoccidioidomycois. Coccidioidomycosis is standard given as differential for protothecosis to my knowledge. Its not an infection with a natural occuring strain as You may understand. The micro organism represents a synthetic model organism.
The problem is penetration of the therapeutic agent in relation to the process of polymerization of artifact in the skin c.q cell adhesion and subsequent infection of cell.
Artifacts relate to module of this multi cellular acting synthetic micro organism. Mint oil has the capacity to penetrate. Us only mint oil because it is a safe oil. Terramycine (oxytetracycline by pfizer) is static and7 or cide if used with mint oil. Most logic prescription by GP would be Amikacin (IM) combined with a tetracycline or long term oral Itraconazole. All mentioned therapeutic agents would indicate experimental treatment since no treatment protocol has been established. Sincerely, tamtam

by tamtam » Mon Jun 26, 2006 6:21 pm Finally… Never be under any illusions about the meaning of ‘government’ Pierre Proudhon says…. To be GOVERNED is to be watched, inspected, spied upon, directed, law-driven, numbered, regulated, enrolled, indoctrinated, preached at, controlled, checked, estimated, valued, censured, commanded, by creatures who have neither the right nor the wisdom nor the virtue to do so. To be GOVERNED is to be at every operation, at every transaction noted, registered, counted, taxed, stamped, measured, numbered, assesed, licensed, authorized, admonished, prevented, forbidden, reformed, corrected, punished. It is, under pretext of public utility, and in the name of the general interest, to be placed under contribution, drilled, fleeced, exploited, monopolized, extorted from, squeezed, hoaxed, robbed then, at the slightest resistance, the first word of complaint, to be repressed, fined, vilified, harrased, hunted down, abused, clubbed, disarmed, bound, choked, imprisoned, judged, condemned, shot, deported, sacrificed, sold, betrayed; and to crown all, mocked, ridiculed, derided, outraged, dishonored. That is government; that is its justice, that is its morality. –Pierre J. Proudhon, General Idea of the Revolution in the 19th Century
Deadly Immunity Robert F. Kennedy Jr. investigates the government cover-up of a mercury/autism scandal In June 2000, a group of top government scientists and health officials gathered for a meeting at the isolated Simpsonwood conference center in Norcross, Georgia. Convened by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the meeting was held at this Methodist retreat center, nestled in wooded farmland next to the Chattahoochee River, to ensure complete secrecy. The agency had issued no public announcement of the session — only private invitations to fifty-two attendees. There were high-level officials from the CDC and the Food and Drug Administration, the top vaccine specialist from the World Health Organization in Geneva and representatives of every major vaccine manufacturer, including GlaxoSmithKline, Merck, Wyeth and Aventis Pasteur. All of the scientific data under discussion, CDC officials repeatedly reminded the participants, was strictly “embargoed.” There would be no making photocopies of documents, no taking papers with them when they left.
The federal officials and industry representatives had assembled to discuss a disturbing new study that raised alarming questions about the safety of a host of common childhood vaccines administered to infants and young children. According to a CDC epidemiologist named Tom Verstraeten, who had analyzed the agency’s massive database containing the medical records of 100,000 children, a mercury-based preservative in the vaccines — thimerosal — appeared to be responsible for a dramatic increase in autism and a host of other neurological disorders among children.
“I was actually stunned by what I saw,” Verstraeten told those assembled at Simpsonwood, citing the staggering number of earlier studies that indicate a link between thimerosal and speech delays, attention-deficit disorder, hyperactivity and autism. Since 1991, when the CDC and the FDA had recommended that three additional vaccines laced with the preservative be given to extremely young infants — in one case, within hours of birth — the estimated number of cases of autism had increased fifteenfold, from one in every 2,500 children to one in 166 children.
Even for scientists and doctors accustomed to confronting issues of life and death, the findings were frightening. “You can play with this all you want,” Dr. Bill Weil, a consultant for the American Academy of Pediatrics, told the group. The results “are statistically significant.” Dr. Richard Johnston, an immunologist and pediatrician from the University of Colorado whose grandson had been born early on the morning of the meeting’s first day, was even more alarmed. “My gut feeling?” he said. “Forgive this personal comment — I do not want my grandson to get a thimerosal-containing vaccine until we know better what is going on.”
But instead of taking immediate steps to alert the public and rid the vaccine supply of thimerosal, the officials and executives at Simpsonwood spent most of the next two days discussing how to cover up the damaging data. According to transcripts obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, many at the meeting were concerned about how the damaging revelations about thimerosal would affect the vaccine industry’s bottom line. “We are in a bad position from the standpoint of defending any lawsuits,” said Dr. Robert Brent, a pediatrician at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Delaware.
“This will be a resource to our very busy plaintiff attorneys in this country.” Dr. Bob Chen, head of vaccine safety for the CDC, expressed relief that “given the sensitivity of the information, we have been able to keep it out of the hands of, let’s say, less responsible hands.” Dr. John Clements, vaccines advisor at the World Health Organization, declared that “perhaps this study should not have been done at all.” He added that “the research results have to be handled,” warning that the study “will be taken by others and will be used in other ways beyond the control of this group.”
In fact, the government has proved to be far more adept at handling the damage than at protecting children’s health. The CDC paid the Institute of Medicine to conduct a new study to whitewash the risks of thimerosal, ordering researchers to “rule out” the chemical’s link to autism. It withheld Verstraeten’s findings, even though they had been slated for immediate publication, and told other scientists that his original data had been “lost” and could not be replicated.
And to thwart the Freedom of Information Act, it handed its giant database of vaccine records over to a private company, declaring it off-limits to researchers. By the time Verstraeten finally published his study in 2003, he had gone to work for GlaxoSmithKline and reworked his data to bury the link between thimerosal and autism.
Vaccine manufacturers had already begun to phase thimerosal out of injections given to American infants — but they continued to sell off their mercury-based supplies of vaccines until last year. The CDC and FDA gave them a hand, buying up the tainted vaccines for export to developing countries and allowing drug companies to continue using the preservative in some American vaccines — including several pediatric flu shots as well as tetanus boosters routinely given to eleven-year-olds. (VN: Bast*rds)
The drug companies are also getting help from powerful lawmakers in Washington. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, who has received $873,000 in contributions from the pharmaceutical industry, has been working to immunize vaccine makers from liability in 4,200 lawsuits that have been filed by the parents of injured children. On five separate occasions, Frist has tried to seal all of the government’s vaccine-related documents — including the Simpsonwood transcripts — and shield Eli Lilly, the developer of thimerosal, from subpoenas.
In 2002, the day after Frist quietly slipped a rider known as the “Eli Lilly Protection Act” into a homeland security bill, the company contributed $10,000 to his campaign and bought 5,000 copies of his book on bioterrorism. The measure was repealed by Congress in 2003 — but earlier this year, Frist slipped another provision into an anti-terrorism bill that would deny compensation to children suffering from vaccine-related brain disorders.
“The lawsuits are of such magnitude that they could put vaccine producers out of business and limit our capacity to deal with a biological attack by terrorists,” says Dean Rosen, health policy adviser to Frist. (VN: Aaah, Dean is a khazar, figures)
Even many conservatives are shocked by the government’s effort to cover up the dangers of thimerosal. Rep. Dan Burton, a Republican from Indiana, oversaw a three-year investigation of thimerosal after his grandson was diagnosed with autism. “Thimerosal used as a preservative in vaccines is directly related to the autism epidemic,” his House Government Reform Committee concluded in its final report. “This epidemic in all probability may have been prevented or curtailed had the FDA not been asleep at the switch regarding a lack of safety data regarding injected thimerosal, a known neurotoxin.” The FDA and other public-health agencies failed to act, the committee added, out of “institutional malfeasance for self protection” and “misplaced protectionism of the pharmaceutical industry.”
The story of how government health agencies colluded with Big Pharma to hide the risks of thimerosal from the public is a chilling case study of institutional arrogance, power and greed. I was drawn into the controversy only reluctantly. As an attorney and environmentalist who has spent years working on issues of mercury toxicity, I frequently met mothers of autistic children who were absolutely convinced that their kids had been injured by vaccines. Privately, I was skeptical.
I doubted that autism could be blamed on a single source, and I certainly understood the government’s need to reassure parents that vaccinations are safe; the eradication of deadly childhood diseases depends on it. I tended to agree with skeptics like Rep. Henry Waxman, a Democrat from California, who criticized his colleagues on the House Government Reform Committee for leaping to conclusions about autism and vaccinations. “Why should we scare people about immunization,” Waxman pointed out at one hearing, “until we know the facts?”
It was only after reading the Simpsonwood transcripts, studying the leading scientific research and talking with many of the nation’s pre-eminent authorities on mercury that I became convinced that the link between thimerosal and the epidemic of childhood neurological disorders is real. Five of my own children are members of the Thimerosal Generation — those born between 1989 and 2003 — who received heavy doses of mercury from vaccines. “The elementary grades are overwhelmed with children who have symptoms of neurological or immune-system damage,” Patti White, a school nurse, told the House Government Reform Committee in 1999. “Vaccines are supposed to be making us healthier; however, in twenty-five years of nursing I have never seen so many damaged, sick kids. Something very, very wrong is happening to our children.”
More than 500,000 kids currently suffer from autism, and pediatricians diagnose more than 40,000 new cases every year. The disease was unknown until 1943, when it was identified and diagnosed among eleven children born in the months after thimerosal was first added to baby vaccines in 1931.
Some skeptics dispute that the rise in autism is caused by thimerosal-tainted vaccinations. They argue that the increase is a result of better diagnosis — a theory that seems questionable at best, given that most of the new cases of autism are clustered within a single generation of children. “If the epidemic is truly an artifact of poor diagnosis,” scoffs Dr. Boyd Haley, one of the world’s authorities on mercury toxicity, “then where are all the twenty-year-old autistics?” Other researchers point out that Americans are exposed to a greater cumulative “load” of mercury than ever before, from contaminated fish to dental fillings, and suggest that thimerosal in vaccines may be only part of a much larger problem. It’s a concern that certainly deserves far more attention than it has received — but it overlooks the fact that the mercury concentrations in vaccines dwarf other sources of exposure to our children.
What is most striking is the lengths to which many of the leading detectives have gone to ignore — and cover up — the evidence against thimerosal. From the very beginning, the scientific case against the mercury additive has been overwhelming. The preservative, which is used to stem fungi and bacterial growth in vaccines, contains ethylmercury, a potent neurotoxin. Truckloads of studies have shown that mercury tends to accumulate in the brains of primates and other animals after they are injected with vaccines — and that the developing brains of infants are particularly susceptible. In 1977, a Russian study found that adults exposed to much lower concentrations of ethylmercury than those given to American children still suffered brain damage years later. Russia banned thimerosal from children’s vaccines twenty years ago, and Denmark, Austria, Japan, Great Britain and all the Scandinavian countries have since followed suit.
“You couldn’t even construct a study that shows thimerosal is safe,” says Haley, who heads the chemistry department at the University of Kentucky. “It’s just too darn toxic. If you inject thimerosal into an animal, its brain will sicken. If you apply it to living tissue, the cells die. If you put it in a petri dish, the culture dies. Knowing these things, it would be shocking if one could inject it into an infant without causing damage.”
Internal documents reveal that Eli Lilly, which first developed thimerosal, knew from the start that its product could cause damage — and even death — in both animals and humans. In 1930, the company tested thimerosal by administering it to twenty-two patients with terminal meningitis, all of whom died within weeks of being injected — a fact Lilly didn’t bother to report in its study declaring thimerosal safe. In 1935, researchers at another vaccine manufacturer, Pittman-Moore, warned Lilly that its claims about thimerosal’s safety “did not check with ours.” Half the dogs Pittman injected with thimerosal-based vaccines became sick, leading researchers there to declare the preservative “unsatisfactory as a serum intended for use on dogs.”
In the decades that followed, the evidence against thimerosal continued to mount. During the Second World War, when the Department of Defense used the preservative in vaccines on soldiers, it required Lilly to label it “poison.” In 1967, a study in Applied Microbiology found that thimerosal killed mice when added to injected vaccines. Four years later, Lilly’s own studies discerned that thimerosal was “toxic to tissue cells” in concentrations as low as one part per million — 100 times weaker than the concentration in a typical vaccine. Even so, the company continued to promote thimerosal as “nontoxic” and also incorporated it into topical disinfectants. In 1977, ten babies at a Toronto hospital died when an antiseptic preserved with thimerosal was dabbed onto their umbilical cords.
In 1982, the FDA proposed a ban on over-the-counter products that contained thimerosal, and in 1991 the agency considered banning it from animal vaccines. But tragically, that same year, the CDC recommended that infants be injected with a series of mercury-laced vaccines. Newborns would be vaccinated for hepatitis B within twenty-four hours of birth, and two-month-old infants would be immunized for haemophilus influenzae B and diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis.
The drug industry knew the additional vaccines posed a danger. The same year that the CDC approved the new vaccines, Dr. Maurice Hilleman, one of the fathers of Merck’s vaccine programs, warned the company that six-month-olds who were administered the shots would suffer dangerous exposure to mercury. He recommended that thimerosal be discontinued, “especially when used on infants and children,” noting that the industry knew of nontoxic alternatives. “The best way to go,” he added, “is to switch to dispensing the actual vaccines without adding preservatives.”
For Merck and other drug companies, however, the obstacle was money. Thimerosal enables the pharmaceutical industry to package vaccines in vials that contain multiple doses, which require additional protection because they are more easily contaminated by multiple needle entries. The larger vials cost half as much to produce as smaller, single-dose vials, making it cheaper for international agencies to distribute them to impoverished regions at risk of epidemics. Faced with this “cost consideration,” Merck ignored Hilleman’s warnings, and government officials continued to push more and more thimerosal-based vaccines for children. Before 1989, American preschoolers received eleven vaccinations — for polio, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis and measles-mumps-rubella. A decade later, thanks to federal recommendations, children were receiving a total of twenty-two immunizations by the time they reached first grade.
As the number of vaccines increased, the rate of autism among children exploded. During the 1990s, 40 million children were injected with thimerosal-based vaccines, receiving unprecedented levels of mercury during a period critical for brain development. Despite the well-documented dangers of thimerosal, it appears that no one bothered to add up the cumulative dose of mercury that children would receive from the mandated vaccines. “What took the FDA so long to do the calculations?” Peter Patriarca, director of viral products for the agency, asked in an e-mail to the CDC in 1999. “Why didn’t CDC and the advisory bodies do these calculations when they rapidly expanded the childhood immunization schedule?”
But by that time, the damage was done. At two months, when the infant brain is still at a critical stage of development, infants routinely received three inoculations that contained a total of 62.5 micrograms of ethylmercury — a level 99 times greater than the EPA’s limit for daily exposure to methylmercury, a related neurotoxin. Although the vaccine industry insists that ethylmercury poses little danger because it breaks down rapidly and is removed by the body, several studies — including one published in April by the National Institutes of Health — suggest that ethylmercury is actually more toxic to developing brains and stays in the brain longer than methylmercury.
Officials responsible for childhood immunizations insist that the additional vaccines were necessary to protect infants from disease and that thimerosal is still essential in developing nations, which, they often claim, cannot afford the single-dose vials that don’t require a preservative. Dr. Paul Offit, one of CDC’s top vaccine advisers, told me, “I think if we really have an influenza pandemic — and certainly we will in the next twenty years, because we always do — there’s no way on God’s earth that we immunize 280 million people with single-dose vials. There has to be multidose vials.”
But while public-health officials may have been well-intentioned, many of those on the CDC advisory committee who backed the additional vaccines had close ties to the industry. Dr. Sam Katz, the committee’s chair, was a paid consultant for most of the major vaccine makers and was part of a team that developed the measles vaccine and brought it to licensure in 1963. Dr. Neal Halsey, another committee member, worked as a researcher for the vaccine companies and received honoraria from Abbott Labs for his research on the hepatitis B vaccine.
Indeed, in the tight circle of scientists who work on vaccines, such conflicts of interest are common. Rep. Burton says that the CDC “routinely allows scientists with blatant conflicts of interest to serve on intellectual advisory committees that make recommendations on new vaccines,” even though they have “interests in the products and companies for which they are supposed to be providing unbiased oversight.” The House Government Reform Committee discovered that four of the eight CDC advisers who approved guidelines for a rotavirus vaccine “had financial ties to the pharmaceutical companies that were developing different versions of the vaccine.”
Offit, who shares a patent on one of the vaccines, acknowledged to me that he “would make money” if his vote eventually leads to a marketable product. But he dismissed my suggestion that a scientist’s direct financial stake in CDC approval might bias his judgment. “It provides no conflict for me,” he insists. “I have simply been informed by the process, not corrupted by it. When I sat around that table, my sole intent was trying to make recommendations that best benefited the children in this country. It’s offensive to say that physicians and public-health people are in the pocket of industry and thus are making decisions that they know are unsafe for children. It’s just not the way it works.”
Other vaccine scientists and regulators gave me similar assurances. Like Offit, they view themselves as enlightened guardians of children’s health, proud of their “partnerships” with pharmaceutical companies, immune to the seductions of personal profit, besieged by irrational activists whose anti-vaccine campaigns are endangering children’s health. They are often resentful of questioning. “Science,” says Offit, “is best left to scientists.”
Still, some government officials were alarmed by the apparent conflicts of interest. In his e-mail to CDC administrators in 1999, Paul Patriarca of the FDA blasted federal regulators for failing to adequately scrutinize the danger posed by the added baby vaccines. “I’m not sure there will be an easy way out of the potential perception that the FDA, CDC and immunization-policy bodies may have been asleep at the switch re: thimerosal until now,” Patriarca wrote. The close ties between regulatory officials and the pharmaceutical industry, he added, “will also raise questions about various advisory bodies regarding aggressive recommendations for use” of thimerosal in child vaccines.
If federal regulators and government scientists failed to grasp the potential risks of thimerosal over the years, no one could claim ignorance after the secret meeting at Simpsonwood. But rather than conduct more studies to test the link to autism and other forms of brain damage, the CDC placed politics over science. The agency turned its database on childhood vaccines — which had been developed largely at taxpayer expense — over to a private agency, America’s Health Insurance Plans, ensuring that it could not be used for additional research. It also instructed the Institute of Medicine, an advisory organization that is part of the National Academy of Sciences, to produce a study debunking the link between thimerosal and brain disorders. The CDC “wants us to declare, well, that these things are pretty safe,” Dr. Marie McCormick, who chaired the IOM’s Immunization Safety Review Committee, told her fellow researchers when they first met in January 2001. “We are not ever going to come down that [autism] is a true side effect” of thimerosal exposure. According to transcripts of the meeting, the committee’s chief staffer, Kathleen Stratton, predicted that the IOM would conclude that the evidence was “inadequate to accept or reject a causal relation” between thimerosal and autism. That, she added, was the result “Walt wants” — a reference to Dr. Walter Orenstein, director of the National Immunization Program for the CDC.
For those who had devoted their lives to promoting vaccination, the revelations about thimerosal threatened to undermine everything they had worked for. “We’ve got a dragon by the tail here,” said Dr. Michael Kaback, another committee member. “The more negative that [our] presentation is, the less likely people are to use vaccination, immunization — and we know what the results of that will be. We are kind of caught in a trap. How we work our way out of the trap, I think is the charge.”
Even in public, federal officials made it clear that their primary goal in studying thimerosal was to dispel doubts about vaccines. “Four current studies are taking place to rule out the proposed link between autism and thimerosal,” Dr. Gordon Douglas, then-director of strategic planning for vaccine research at the National Institutes of Health, assured a Princeton University gathering in May 2001. “In order to undo the harmful effects of research claiming to link the [measles] vaccine to an elevated risk of autism, we need to conduct and publicize additional studies to assure parents of safety.” Douglas formerly served as president of vaccinations for Merck, where he ignored warnings about thimerosal’s risks.
In May of last year, the Institute of Medicine issued its final report. Its conclusion: There is no proven link between autism and thimerosal in vaccines. Rather than reviewing the large body of literature describing the toxicity of thimerosal, the report relied on four disastrously flawed epidemiological studies examining European countries, where children received much smaller doses of thimerosal than American kids. It also cited a new version of the Verstraeten study, published in the journal Pediatrics, that had been reworked to reduce the link between thimerosal and autism. The new study included children too young to have been diagnosed with autism and overlooked others who showed signs of the disease. The IOM declared the case closed and — in a startling position for a scientific body — recommended that no further research be conducted.
The report may have satisfied the CDC, but it convinced no one. Rep. David Weldon, a Republican physician from Florida who serves on the House Government Reform Committee, attacked the Institute of Medicine, saying it relied on a handful of studies that were “fatally flawed” by “poor design” and failed to represent “all the available scientific and medical research.” CDC officials are not interested in an honest search for the truth, Weldon told me, because “an association between vaccines and autism would force them to admit that their policies irreparably damaged thousands of children. Who would want to make that conclusion about themselves?”
Under pressure from Congress and parents, the Institute of Medicine convened another panel to address continuing concerns about the Vaccine Safety Datalink Data Sharing program. In February, the new panel, composed of different scientists, criticized the way the VSD had been used in the Verstraeten study, and urged the CDC to make its vaccine database available to the public.
So far, though, only two scientists have managed to gain access. Dr. Mark Geier, president of the Genetics Center of America, and his son, David, spent a year battling to obtain the medical records from the CDC. Since August 2002, when members of Congress pressured the agency to turn over the data, the Geiers have completed six studies that demonstrate a powerful correlation between thimerosal and neurological damage in children. One study, which compares the cumulative dose of mercury received by children born between 1981 and 1985 with those born between 1990 and 1996, found a “very significant relationship” between autism and vaccines. Another study of educational performance found that kids who received higher doses of thimerosal in vaccines were nearly three times as likely to be diagnosed with autism and more than three times as likely to suffer from speech disorders and mental retardation. Another soon-to-be published study shows that autism rates are in decline following the recent elimination of thimerosal from most vaccines.
As the federal government worked to prevent scientists from studying vaccines, others have stepped in to study the link to autism. In April, reporter Dan Olmsted of UPI undertook one of the more interesting studies himself. Searching for children who had not been exposed to mercury in vaccines — the kind of population that scientists typically use as a “control” in experiments — Olmsted scoured the Amish of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, who refuse to immunize their infants. Given the national rate of autism, Olmsted calculated that there should be 130 autistics among the Amish. He found only four. One had been exposed to high levels of mercury from a power plant. The other three — including one child adopted from outside the Amish community — had received their vaccines.
At the state level, many officials have also conducted in-depth reviews of thimerosal. While the Institute of Medicine was busy whitewashing the risks, the Iowa legislature was carefully combing through all of the available scientific and biological data. “After three years of review, I became convinced there was sufficient credible research to show a link between mercury and the increased incidences in autism,” says state Sen. Ken Veenstra, a Republican who oversaw the investigation. “The fact that Iowa’s 700 percent increase in autism began in the 1990s, right after more and more vaccines were added to the children’s vaccine schedules, is solid evidence alone.” Last year, Iowa became the first state to ban mercury in vaccines, followed by California. Similar bans are now under consideration in thirty-two other states.
But instead of following suit, the FDA continues to allow manufacturers to include thimerosal in scores of over-the-counter medications as well as steroids and injected collagen. Even more alarming, the government continues to ship vaccines preserved with thimerosal to developing countries — some of which are now experiencing a sudden explosion in autism rates. In China, where the disease was virtually unknown prior to the introduction of thimerosal by U.S. drug manufacturers in 1999, news reports indicate that there are now more than 1.8 million autistics. Although reliable numbers are hard to come by, autistic disorders also appear to be soaring in India, Argentina, Nicaragua and other developing countries that are now using thimerosal-laced vaccines. The World Health Organization continues to insist thimerosal is safe, but it promises to keep the possibility that it is linked to neurological disorders “under review.”
I devoted time to study this issue because I believe that this is a moral crisis that must be addressed. If, as the evidence suggests, our public-health authorities knowingly allowed the pharmaceutical industry to poison an entire generation of American children, their actions arguably constitute one of the biggest scandals in the annals of American medicine. “The CDC is guilty of incompetence and gross negligence,” says Mark Blaxill, vice president of Safe Minds, a nonprofit organization concerned about the role of mercury in medicines. “The damage caused by vaccine exposure is massive. It’s bigger than asbestos, bigger than tobacco, bigger than anything you’ve ever seen.”
It’s hard to calculate the damage to our country — and to the international efforts to eradicate epidemic diseases — if Third World nations come to believe that America’s most heralded foreign-aid initiative is poisoning their children. It’s not difficult to predict how this scenario will be interpreted by America’s enemies abroad. The scientists and researchers — many of them sincere, even idealistic — who are participating in efforts to hide the science on thimerosal claim that they are trying to advance the lofty goal of protecting children in developing nations from disease pandemics. They are badly misguided. Their failure to come clean on thimerosal will come back horribly to haunt our country and the world’s poorest populations.
NOTE: This story has been updated to correct several inaccuracies in the original, published version. As originally reported, American preschoolers received only three vaccinations before 1989, but the article failed to note that they were innoculated a total of eleven times with those vaccines, including boosters. The article also misstated the level of ethylmercury received by infants injected with all their shots by the age of six months. It was 187 micrograms – an amount forty percent, not 187 times, greater than the EPA’s limit for daily exposure to methylmercury. Finally, because of an editing error, the article misstated the contents of the rotavirus vaccine approved by the CDC. It did not contain thimerosal. Salon and Rolling Stone regret the errors.
An earlier version of this story stated that the Institute of Medicine convened a second panel to review the work of the Immunization Safety Review Committee that had found no evidence of a link between thimerosal and autism. In fact, the IOM convened the second panel to address continuing concerns about the Vaccine Safety Datalink Data Sharing program, including those raised by critics of the IOM’s earlier work. But the panel was not charged with reviewing the committee’s findings. The story also inadvertently omitted a word and transposed two sentences in a quote by Dr. John Clements, and incorrectly stated that Dr. Sam Katz held a patent with Merck on the measles vaccine. In fact, Dr. Katz was part of a team that developed the vaccine and brought it to licensure, but he never held the patent. Salon and Rolling Stone regret the errors.
CLARIFICATION: After publication of this story, Salon and Rolling Stone corrected an error that misstated the level of ethylmercury received by infants injected with all their shots by the age of six months. It was 187 micrograms ? an amount forty percent, not 187 times, greater than the EPA’s limit for daily exposure to methylmercury. At the time of the correction, we were aware that the comparison itself was flawed, but as journalists we considered it more appropriate to state the correct figure rather than replace it with another number entirely.
Since that earlier correction, however, it has become clear from responses to the article that the forty-percent number, while accurate, is misleading. It measures the total mercury load an infant received from vaccines during the first six months, calculates the daily average received based on average body weight, and then compares that number to the EPA daily limit. But infants did not receive the vaccines as a ?daily average? ? they received massive doses on a single day, through multiple shots. As the story states, these single-day doses exceeded the EPA limit by as much as 99 times. Based on the misunderstanding, and to avoid further confusion, we have amended the story to eliminate the forty-percent figure.
Correction: The story misattributed a quote to Andy Olson, former legislative counsel to Senator Bill Frist. The comment was made by Dean Rosen, health policy adviser to the senator. Rolling Stone and Salon.com regret the error.

A direct line is running trough former military airport Ypenburg(former International assembly line of F16) Lackland battlefield lab, Lockheed Martin, Boeing and extremely near by: Prins Maurits laboratory. (today one of 15 most respected NIH) They have been working on bio remediation up until today. Many people in direct vicinity have cancer.
They unite and demand investigation spring 2004. Answer Government; that about 30% of the population will develop a form of cancer. Spring 2004 a Professor makes the statement that the mysterious outbreak of blue green algae in 1980 had spread over the country. This Institute has all protection and works on bioweapons c.q
“biodefense” also target from former USSR They were questioned by the media about stocking Sarin. Its the Alliance, old boys network! Not a single Institute will risk its name. The higher echelon is very aware that a percentage of people is sacrificed in the name of supremacy. This fact relates to a broad field of novel like pathogenic elements.
Synthetic micro organisms yield many novel cell line. Many novel interactions. And because of its complexity derivations are very difficult to analyze. Difficult now synonymous with secret. Its what You call top international based scientific non disclosed research. The concept is from about late sixties.
They knew the risk and repeat the same misery about 2000. Whatever the reason; it feeds R&D because it creates a steady line of cases. Yes Doctor, No Doctor! Remember: Dutch superbug (Dutch MRSA) and the one in the US about 2000. Something sensing definitely must have tuned in!
Pathogens are population control regulators.
Statician turn the effects into a morbidity and mortality rate. To mention provenance is not profitable. One door down the alley creates a serious problem and the other door is supposed to solve it. All together R&D flowers as never before! People enough!
A novel surface protein capable of enabling enterococci to colonize a new area of the gastrointestinal tract, an area perhaps less endowed with immune clearance mechanisms, may explain the ability of these outbreak strains to efficiently colonize and cause disease
2) Cyclosporine, a metabolite isolated from the mould, Tolypocladium niveum (left), is the most effective and least toxic immunosuppressant yet discovered. It has enormously improved the success rate of organ transplant operations by preventing recipients’ immune systems from rejecting the implant, but not leaving them totally defenceless against infection.
This substance or its derivatives also hold out some hope for treatment of severe auto-immune diseases such as juvenile diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, aplastic anaemia, Addison’s disease, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, systemic lupus erythematosus and Henoch-Schonlein purpurea. See Chapter 24 for more.
In addition, conidial anamorphs can now be genetically transformed to act as hosts for vectors carrying multiple copies of genes from other eukaryotic organisms (including humans), and have already been persuaded to express and secrete a number of eukaryotic gene products, including insulin, human growth factor, human tissue plasminogen activator (used to dissolve blood clots), bovine chymosin (an enzyme used in cheese-making), and amylase and cellulase enzymes (see Chapters 10, 24). Obviously, the biotechnological potential of the moulds is tremendous. The second part of this chapter (4b) examines the various orders of Ascomycetes…the holomorphs.

As earlier mentioned: Ask Your GP for Itraconazol (Itraconazole, Itraconazolum) Its the best oral (systemic) therapeutic choice available. It has proved curative in some cases against prototheca after 7.5
(seven and a half) months. It would be 2X 100 mg firts month to continue with 100 mg to my knowledge. Ask Your GP for support. For topical use You can try a mixture of mint oil with terramycine (oxytetracycline, by pfizer) Promote penetration with a plastic wrap.
Alternative topical therapeutic agent would be econazole nitrate cream. (First option is effective and cheap) Shower the oil mixture of after about 20 minutes with plenty neutral shampoo (Stay close to a shower) Important: Buffer eyes and sensible body parts with pure terramycine eye and skin cream if You treat e.g scalp. Take care with this type treatment and NEVER use this oil combination on children. As You will find out dissemination in skin may prove extensive. Prototheca like (dark discoloration of infected cell layers) will only show up during effective treatment. Again: this is a systemic acting infectious micro organism. Topical treatment only will not cure.
Synchronous treatment against trypanosomes could be a rational option, but I do not advise this. What You fight is cell characteristic hence cell identity and it is unclear of above mentioned protocol will not be effective. Standard therapy against always difficult to erradicate infection with prototheca like micro organisms would be IM amikacin(e) and IV Amphotericine B this often given in combination with tetracycline. In some cases long term Itraconazol has proved effective also against infection with prototheca like micro organisms. Itraconazol(e) can easily be prescribed by a GP. Sincerely, tamtam
About treatments in relation to african trypanosomiasis: Clinical trials The complicated and expensive trypanosomiasis screening test primarily involves taking a blood sample and a ganglion aspiration (if cervical lymph nodes are discovered during the check-up).
These samples are then analysed in a mobile or fixed laboratory. The treatment for people testing positive depends on how far the disease has advanced. Two phases are singled out. During the first one, the trypanosomiasis symptoms are quite general: intermittent fever, swollen cervical lymph nodes and skin irritation, for example. A simple treatment is given in this case.
In the second stage of the disease, the trypanosomes will have reached the central nervous system (the brain, the spinal cord) and the symptoms become neurological: headaches at increasingly frequent intervals, sleeping problems (sufferers hardly sleep at night but sleep a lot during the daytime, hence the name “sleeping sickness”), and confusion. The patient’s loss of appetite and fever eventually leads to a “cachexia”.
The patient will die after a pathological development lasting about two years if left untreated. © Francesco Zizola “For people who reach the second stage, the frequently used arsenic-based treatment is toxic, thus causes side effects. In 5 to 10% of cases, the side effects may even result in the death of the patient”, says Bertrand Draguez. “This is why MSF is taking part in a scientific project designed to streamline another therapeutic protocol, DFMO (Difluoromethylornithine). A larger quantity of product is required per patient but it is less toxic.” The project is also designed to conduct clinical trials with another product, Nifurtimox, to be used in combination with DFMO.
What has happened is that a highly genetically modified specie has integrated in the commensal pool. Like you could make it a problem e.g that the introduction of a foreign fish specie starts to replace a native one but not would make it a problem that the commensal pool of micro organisms in the human body systematically becomes replaced by a specie that is complex in organization and because of its cell adhesion (accumulation in tissue) is pathogenic per definition(….) Its the international (and in particular western) scientific world that has become as deliberate in its goals and actions as the former Soviet Union(….) (VN: do you think that is because both, at different times were run and controlled by khazar Zionists, who now has a bioweapons facility no less technologically advanced as major western and eastern nations??)
Repression of facts in favor of present methodology. Hence; final conclusion could be that its not about universal science but about western ideology. To safeguard scientific program they delete or steer away from all that could immediately prove that people tend to disappear in the statistic. The idea is that You can absorb the cases without having to mention the facts c.q go for the consequences(….) How organized can You get via consensus based decision making! Like with any crime its not a problem until the dead bodies walk out of the cupboard to explain about a peculiar kept silence. Could mention the facts start to prove about a long history of opportunistic adaptation and exploitation? Stay tuned, Sincerely, tamtam
The mold is an expression of a modified cyanboacterium. Until 1920 cyanobacteria were regarded to be a mold. Your infection concerns a quorums sensing micro organism. Its also a multi cellular acting micro organism. The micro organism will integrate in tissue in the form of adaptive protein and also shows the ability to infect native cell. Sincerely, tamtam
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Southcity I hope You will understand that there is always time invoved to create a democratic base and get people lined up to appreciate the facts. I do not keep any information away that already could have motivated the Institutions to give immediate attention to what is going on. They know all about this epidemic and they certainly are not going to confirm the real scope, content and long term effect of this disaster.
This modified almost impossible to eradicate pathogenic micro organism is everywhere! As a matter of fact it IS disease name claiming organizations that play a most remarkable and detrimental role and they know it! They try to negotiate an impossible situation. Its always the same story with power seekers. As You all may know I do not support any organization that provides an opportunistic base to keep control about per definition public matter.
That CDC has been put under pressure because of the immediate attention in relation to the presentation of exclusive and revealing video footage is fact and confirmed e.g by the article in the San Francisco Chronicle. Nobody has to fear the course of things as long there is appropriate support from the public. And I hope that the public will stay fit enough to deal with the sick ideology of the western intelligentia.
Fact will be that a most treacherous triangle of interacting Institution, Corporation and Military will become exposed and will have to stand trial for the Court of International justice in relation to a crime against humanity. This pathogen is about statistic, control of information and more over: the petit bourgeois mentality of all that identifies with per definition false authority.
Scandalous profit seekers one way or the other, sacrifice of an unprecedented number innocent people including very young children and this on a grand scale – all with consent of the same nobility called the western intelligentia. That people should not judge too early and observe how things may develop.
To be without prejudice would be the right support. And that they defend their case with sending a registered letter to the institution and that they demand intervention and a written response. This particular matter will never go away without coordinated international attention and what would be most mandatory in this particular context is that the public should decide to act as decisive monitor.
Lets suppose You identify a certain John Kern.
Next question could be how many interactions this multi cellular being could yield as well in vivo as in vitro. In fact so many mainly difficult interactions would certainly confront You at once that it would be sufficient to state; A single entity mainly of difficult character. If You have an elephant dancing in Your front garden; Do You really need a fact sheet of its metabolism to be able to conclude: Indeed an elephant is dancing in my front garden!
Yes I am a terrorist! ECDC monitor of the European Union put the Dutch Government under pressure after I report ECDC, CDC and Interpol in France about an environmental crime. In reaction the Dutch Government send the National coordination team for an interview.
This team will solely go after terrorists. Speaking out against atrocities caused by members of the Western Alliance is classified as undermining international State security -as I think to may conclude.
Members of the Western Alliance are responsible for the release of this pathogen.
I suppose that this model organism is used to manufacture precursor chemicals and the concept must have been used again during present war. The Institute and adjacent military airport that has vanished in 1991 after the outbreak in 1980 were in direct line with the international production line of the F16 hence e.g Lockheed Martin and Lackland.
President Clinton gave this institute money to study the effects of Gulf War syndrome. Bio remediation has gone on since today and a novel residential area that was put down on former contaminated soil (about 1990) has an unprecedented number of people with cancer. They protest about this fact 2004.
The Alliance knew what would be the result of an outbreak in terms of a steady flow of medical cases. The higher echelon knows very well what the general effect will be on the population. And I can assure You that it is very very bad for an unprecedented number of people.
Transboundary! In fact what you need is an execution peleton. That’ s my opinion and I am a rather peacefull thinker.
by tamtam » Sat Jul 15, 2006 8:13 pm Is that ragged flag still waving?
Among the believers Mr. Kern, To speak as a child is a biblical thing! Thank You for Your compliment, It seems that You have no idea what conservatism means, and that could explain Your curiosity and frustration. You can have thousands of people work on something that may not go to the public and indeed it will not go to the public. Development is not based on putting classified information on the street. Its called advantage and keeping up with competition. Diplomacy is a good example.
Was Germany not fervent against the invasion? And was not a few years later made clear and evident that Germany had actively spied for the US during the invasion? Wake up dear Mr. Kern; Its because nobody will risk his reputation, career option and/or investment. You expect that they will endorse the facts? As earlier mentioned certain type of matter will not be reported to the public. All motivated by fear for disruption of the safety c.q economy.
It was business that reacts to the video footage and that has put CDC under pressure out of fear for losses. This has been perfectly registered by the responsible web site. Do You realize You always create cash flow also if You are terminally sick. Even if You would be able to yield a full screening of this multi cellular element- this moment in time – the scientific world would not confirm a single thing.
To keep research inconclusive for whatever reason is a standard! You can’t get it proved! This was told to me by a befriended select agent specialist of Cornell University. A specialist working on the reemergence of tb. Pathogens are R&D motors and whatever the etiology or provenance; You can’t get it proved if it will disrupt present scientific order!
That’ s why we have Dr. Martins with ongoing researches that will never get true funding. The world is in a way opportunistic and it would hurt establishment to see a sudden shift in policy. Still, if a full survey will be given You could start to see that nobody will follow the fact that they may have been made part of a rather specific problem(…..) Also You will have to follow Mr. Kern , To know with the opinion of all.
Everything that is new is controversial but later on all becomes established as fact.
As You prefer Mr. Kern? Sincerely, tamtam
And that a person is allowed to suffer from this or that but not that other thing. As earlier mentioned: The Western intellectuals are as deliberate and suppressive as former communist regimes. Once again: You need combined therapy. Lesions will scar and this will stay. My advise is as earlier given. Talk it over with Your GP. There will be the possibilty of relapse but all that in the mean time is reduced is a pro. Sincerely, tamtam
Cyanobacterium= a bacterium that also will grow a mold! Hence the 1917 confusion. Its a synthetic micro organism and a lot seems to be hung in its “tree”. c.q the micro organism is informed with a multiple set genes derived from plant, parasite, maybe bird but for sure mammal and higher primate.
All now represents one (1) A new entity with multiple expression. Its an entity because it is environmentally resistant c.q will proliferate outside the lab. Under favorable conditions it will grow back multi cellular expression. The human body provides this type of strata. The process is bacterial load depending. Sincerely, tamtam
All will be presented in a most comprehensible way, to know visualized so that even the not informed can understand the matter to a certain degree!
If that announcement is correct You will get a more precise therapeutic protocol via Ford L. in August. The reaction of the skin is rather known in relation to infection with dermatophyte like micro organisms. The body will isolate the infectious agent because it has no other defense. From the rubbery skin only sporadically sporules will escape.
All other explanation does not apply. Thus this type postinfective skin can be defined as a host pathogen interaction. Sores per definition have the property that they will not easily fall prone to superinfection. If you are in need for therapy; ask Your GP for oral Itraconazol(e) and topical econazole nitrate. Or get the terramycine/ mint oil mix. Its rational and effective therapy although final knock down may include other therapeutic agents as well. Sincerely, tamtam
Otsuka S, Suda S, Shibata S, Oyaizu H, Matsumoto S, Watanabe MM. Department of Applied Biological Chemistry, Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, The University of Tokyo, Japan.shigeton@mac.com
Genomic DNA homologies were examined from six Microcystis (cyanobacteria) strains, including five different species, Microcystis aeruginosa, Microcystis ichthyoblabe, Microcystis novacekii, Microcystis viridis and Microcystis wesenbergii.
All DNA-DNA reassociation values between two strains of M. aeruginosa and the other four species exceeded 70%, which is considered high enough for them to be classified within the same bacterial species. It is proposed to unify these five species into M. aeruginosa under the Rules of the Bacteriological Code and NIES843T (= IAM M-247T) is proposed as the type strain.
Two other species, Microcystis flos-aquae and Microcystis pseudofilamentosa, should be regarded as morphological variations of this unified M. aeruginosa. The current taxonomy of cyanobacteria depends too much upon morphological characteristics and must be reviewed by means of bacteriological methods as well as traditional botanical methods. Be so kind not to promote confusion. Its likely more about cell characteristic and about cell susceptibility (pattern) and not about “multiple species” Rational and rather effective therapy is oral itraconazole and topical econazole nitrate or terramycine(oxytetracycline) mixed with mint oil. Some make the statement that people tend to project; as if the world was a mirror.
You have to relate this statement in relation to the fact: Base architecture: Fusion cyanobacterium with a trypanosome like element.
The Genus Prototheca was described in 1894 by Kruger to designate a group of non-pigmented unicellular organisms isolated from the mucous flux of trees.
Based on a yeast like appearance in culture, early investigators, including Kruger (1849 a, b) considered the organism to be a fungus. This view was generally accepted until West (1916) directed attention to its alga-like mode of reproduction. Unlike most yeasts, Prototheca does not propagate by budding, but by internally produced spores which are morphologically identical to the parent cell.This method of sporulation is indistinguishable from that observed in the green alga chlorella. Based on this observationWest (1916) classified the organism in the chlorophyaceae. Etc…
Plus: Cultural Morphology: On solid media, isolates of Prototheca are similar to many yeasts or yeast like fungi. Cultures vary from white to cream colored and may be smooth, wrinkled, or pasty depending upon the strain. In diagnostic laboratory, the organism must be distinguished from species of candida and cryptococcus, and to a lesser extent from the yeast forms of Histoplasma and Blastomyces
Informative: The Guardian Wednesday May 13, 1998 US giant plans to patent key genetic codes By Paul Brown and Martin Walker in Brussels A United States multinational company yesterday announced plans to unravel the entire human genetic code by 2001 and sell the information to scientific institutions and drug companies – patenting the most valuable gene sequences to protect its investment. (VN: NWO MEANS FASCISM)
The announcement came on the day the European Parliament agreed a controversial European directive that allows companies to patent human, plant and animal genes and so charge royalties on medical or agricultural applications.
The US project, privately funded by the Perkin-Elmer Corporation of
Norwalk, Connecticut, follows a technical breakthrough by the company
which allows robot machines to plot the human gene sequences 10 times
faster and more cheaply than previously thought possible. The company
aims to make a profit by beating a federal effort to achieve the same
results.
The company has teamed up with J. Craig Venter, a controversial figure
who pioneered isolating gene sequences, patenting them and selling
them to companies. He now heads the non-profit Institute for Genomic
Research, in Rockville.
Tony White, chief executive officer of Perkin-Elmer, told the Guardian
from New York: “We are not a philanthropic organisation, we have a
revenue model for this. We are sure people will want to buy the
information.”
He said most of the information would be available to companies and
scientific institutions on a pay-to-view basis on sophisticated
websites. “We will of course have first access to the data and be able
to evaluate it. If necessary we will patent 100 to 300 of the very
significant genes, but we do not know yet. We will license those
genes. We do not want to hold them hostage, we want to contract people
for research.”
He said there may be 60,000 to 100,000 genes in the human body, so
only a tiny proportion would be patented.
The company will employ between 400 and 800 people to run 230 of the
machines, which will decode information from human genes isolated from
sperm and other cells. The electricity bill alone is expected to be
£3,000 a day.
“We think this is the future of medicine. We will have a blueprint and
match later with the blueprint of mice and other related mammals – the
first stage in finding a cure for many common diseases,” Mr White
said.
The European directive was passed after intense lobbying by
multinational pharmaceutical corporations, while Green MEPs protested
against “bio-piracy”. (VN: This is one of many reasons why we should NEVER globalize. Its just a free ride on the planets population toward unprecedented profits and more wealth extraction.)
The directive has been modified since the Parliament rejected an
earlier bill three years ago, not least to include the provision that
“the industrial application of a sequence or a partial sequence of a
gene must be disclosed in the patent application”.
This is designed to stop companies patenting everything from human,
animal and plant genes in the hope of hitting a jackpot.
Willi Rothley, the German Social Democrat who proposed the directive,
insisted yesterday that it would allow the patenting only of genuine
inventions, not of gene sequences that exist naturally.
He said it was “clear that there can be no use of human embryos for
commercial or industrial purposes, no human cloning, and the suffering
of genetically modified animals is only permitted for medical
purposes”.
Magda Aelvoet, co-president of MEP Greens, said: “The bans on
patenting human cloning and human embryos are poorly defined and will
be wide open for exploitation by clever patent lawyers.”
** NOTICE: In accordance with Title 17 U.S.C. Section 107, this material
is distributed without profit to those who have expressed a prior interest
in receiving the included information for research and educational
purposes. **
The point is that most people do not know that data acquisition and data trade is the driving force of the Industry. Information(…)
Now Honorable Mr. Venter even proposed to let the community pay for all the screening (so that the expert could pick out the flowers?)
If You relate this to the fact that most things have become automized You also will understand that the speed c.q introduction of pathogenic even environmentally resistant elements (small particles if You like) will be at par with the promise that things can quickly be assessed- if necessary.
If You again relate this to the fact that most pathogenic elements (including primary) almost always will show a pattern of preference (like bird flue in relation to people with a certain genetic make up)
You maybe also understand that in fact a type of genocide is being legitimized and that the industry as a whole refuses to be made responsible for its effect on the individual or apparent minority at a certain moment in time (….)
Matter of thought, not more!
Repetition of an earlier post: Microbiologists have borrowed the term “pheromone” from entomologists because they believe that insect like chemical signaling and communication also can occur among bacteria. But the idea of bacterial quorum sensing, which came under serious consideration only in the last decade, is still as much theory as established fact, Winans cautioned. The presence of a second, seemingly redundant apparatus for quorum sensing in Pseudomonas bacteria “makes us wonder if something else also is going on,” Winans said. Now quoted in relation to the fact that research results deliberately can be kept inconclusive and that disturbing matter never will be presented to the public. Your matter in particular!
With many things it is simply so that if You do not have to mention its existence in literature than per definition formally it also does not exist! Why do You think that prostrate cancer since early this year is defined as being caused by a virus?
Its the most prevalent cause of cancer in the western world and almost does not exists in e.g China! Fact is that people that reveal that all this is true are not exactly very welcome since it means an enormous shift in R&D. Scientist softly said that the virus definitely must be around fort at least a few thousand years…. etc etc.
Listen very well. Today scientists are like priest. You would put your blind trust in them but if you shake the tree they will prove all except being innocent. Its normal human practice but remember its the public that prefers to install a non existing pure and higher order.
Honorable Mrs. Knapp, As You may have analyzed: CDC endorses the idea about the probable existence c.q re -occurrence of a 16th century disease? Quite likely this must be a strategic move to keep the people as long as possible away from the fact and subsequent understanding that a stray target of a proteome research center has contaminated an unprecedented number of people in the US and beyond.
Proteome research centers are synonymous with bio-defense.
As You also may understand: The line between defense and offense is rather thin especially for a country at war. The presence of this type hyper complex micro organism in public space represents a re-introduction to my knowledge. The infectious agent represents a synthetic model organism and constitutes most a fusion between a cyanobacterium and a trypanosome like micro organism. The concept is made quorum sensing. This means that as well actively produced elements, as well as foreign introductions have the potential to tune into on and the same multi cellular process.
The micro organism can consistently be associated with a construct to create new cell line via a process called random recombination. Without any doubt the micro organism is man made and because of its complexity can only be associated with target of a proteome research center. Contamination c.q infection with this very difficult if not impossible to eradicate synthetic micro organism can consistently be associated with as well reversible as well as irreversible processes in the human body.
CDC as well as NHI seem not very willing to bring the matter straight to the public and prefer to delay the facts. Exclusive and clear and convincing evidence exists that may start to prove that more than one member of the Western Alliance must be held responsible for the release of this environmentally resistant human pathogen. Sincerely, tamtam
Cyano is very difficult. If you cause cell lysis, neurotoxic substances will penetrate vital tissue and the toxins are very difficult to eliminate. Question: What if you combine properties of cyano with properties of trypanosomes? Cyano can replace tissue and infection will often stay undetected.
Trypanosomes are known for variant glycoprotein, a property relating to “evasion of the immune system” Maybe part of the problem is that you try to find a natural cause for something that is synthetic. A synthetic element with an impressive memory load.
Skytrol, You talk yourself into the bushes.
What you suffer from is an infection! This means that there is an etiological agent.
If you get proper anti microbial therapy your symptoms will go away. However, what you mention could partially apply if the agent causes lasting changes. Compare with post infectious tissue (changes)
Proper anti microbial treatment is possible if medical consensus becomes established. To aknowledge that all concerns an infection with a highly modified man made infectious agents seems not without an enormous political load.
You also could state ” one flew over Cucoo’ s nest ” and in this case by many innocent people including the very young. The shortest road to a cure could be via court instead via the existing health system. What you maybe experience next to this infection is the effect of the integration of communist tactics into a capitalist system.
Skytroll, “You tend to simplify microbial resistance” There are so many anti microbial agents that do not work against certain species or strains that it is standard procedure to perform susceptibilty tests. As earlier stated: this particular agent is about anti microbial resistance. Much of this resistance relates to the fact that prototheca like micro organisms are very difficult to erradicate.
Next to this it concerns a synthetic model organism that (in culture) also will develop into a trypanosome – like – micro organism. If this observation is consistent, it would be logic to associate the concept with variant glycoprotein like properties known from trypanosomiasis. The overal concept seems fine tuned towards evasion of the immune system (…) This idea is partially confirmed by the fact that filamentous “artifacts” are not or poorly recognized during genesis in tissue (skin, muscle, organs) “What most people observe relates strongly to a process of polymerization and this process can be accumulative” The true problem could be that you would have to treat infection as well as protothecosis as trypanosomiasis and than still have to conclude that treatment would not be effective (…) tamtam Last edited by tamtam on Mon Sep 11, 2006 1:10 am, edited 1 time in total.
Best is to understand that most people have tried various combinations or long courses of anti microbial agents without being able to eradicate this infection. Because of this fact it is likely that a trypanosome has been used.
Infection eradicated, patient has died! This counts in africa until today… About weight; As far as I do remember doxycycline is an additive to e.g chicken and pig feed. It causes rapid gain of weight (growth promotor) —————————————-
People could appoint a location e.g Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York maybe London and unite in a club that is willing to put up a foundation and accept donations. Goal could be to commission a company in the EU to screen the agent. Results could be published online and will allow to identify the micro organism by any laboratory around the world.
Shotgun screening may also yield a blueprint about the species that are involved. Test are always highly specific and standard tests stay negative so far I know. The CBL (cyano bacterium like) micro organism can sometimes be detected in tissue. Its a yeast like body most resembling the etiological agent of paracoccidioidomycosis braziliensis and/ or lobomycosis.
Differential would include coccidioidomycosis. All above mentioned species are easily confused with other prototheca like micro organisms. Next to this a series commensal resembling micro organisms are involved. This would most associated with e.g synechocystis To my knowledge there are no standard tests present for e.g protothecosis. First unite, create a legal body and set well defined goals.
You are free to give the foundation a name.
I would do that after getting an idea where to locate the foundation. Just propose a name and create public response. Redefine democracy! Its up to you all.
As earlier posted: Again, My advise to you is to unite, create a legal base and to seek litigation. CDC plays a cat and mouse game!
All is done to protect ongoing scientific research program and all reaction seems an attempt to prohibit that consistent prove will be gathered. Consistent prove that may demonstrate that much conclusion in various fields of medical science could be part of an elaborate falsification. This type argument can easily be understood if you take into account that it is impossible to introduce a “missing link” without severe consequences for the disciplines.
However, this “missing link” is brought into culture and identified as a synthetic model organism. I like to stress that it is mandatory that people understand that initial research could best be done autonomous (instigated and financed by the public) since it is unlikely that official channels ever will inform the public about the true scope of this particular occult acting man made pathogen (…) Not only will this synthetic model organism reconstitute insect like entity but also an autonomous acting synthetic vector, and peculiar translation of plant, mammal and higher primate (….) Earlier posted/ brought to front NEW SURVEILLANCE DATABASE “UNIDENTIFIED DERMATOSIS SYNDROME”
Abstract: There have been reports to state and local public health agencies from residents throughout Georgia of thread-like skin parasites in their skin, and a related set of symptoms. In response, the Unidentified Dermatosis Syndrome (UDS) Surveillance Database was developed and is maintained by the Chemical Hazards Program, Environmental Health Section, Georgia Division of Public Health. It is intended to build and maintain self-reported symptom surveillance capacity.
Definition The Chemical Hazards Program defines “Unidentified Dermatosis Syndrome” as reports of tiny bugs that look like black specks, or thread-like parasites in the skin; or of “something” biting, stinging, or crawling in the skin, and an accompanying set of symptoms including itching, visible sores, and fatigue.
Hypothesis The Chemical Hazards Program will examine whether: 1. parasites may be causing the symptoms, and 2. individuals may share hypersensitivity to toxins produced by certain fungi/molds present in soil causing specific neurotoxic effects.
CURRENT ACTIVITIES: PHASE I Surveillance Database and Initial Survey Beginning March 1, 2006 we will administer a survey to collect data from individuals reporting specific symptoms of UDS. Chemical Hazards Program staff is contacting Georgia residents following referral from various state, district, and local public health agencies, health care providers, other professionals, and individuals for voluntary participation in the survey.
Beginning September 1, 2006 Chemical Hazards Program staff will analyze the results of the survey and decide which health education activities, networking strategies, referral resources, environmental sampling, or medical interventions will best meet the needs of the survey participants. Reports generated will contain grouped information only, and will not contain any personal identifiers such as name or address.
The results of the data analyses are expected to be available to the public in late fall 2006. The UDS surveillance database will remain in place and continue to gather information about cases in Georgia. Survey The UDS survey requests basic demographic information: age, gender, race/ethnicity and education level. Questions about their home environment and daily activities, including length of residency, soil conditions, outdoor hobbies, employment history, and allergy history are included. Respondents will be asked in detail about their symptoms, doctor visits, current medications, health status of other family members and pets, and attempted and/or successful treatments and symptom relief.
Page 2 Data Management and Entry
CHP staff will collect, manage, enter, and analyze all data from completed surveys. Survey data will be entered into an Access database and cross checked for validity, reliability, and accuracy by random verification of entered data and other accepted methods. Data Analyses Access 2000 database software will be used for data analyses. Survey questions will be analyzed and compared using analytic techniques appropriate for community survey design.
Univariate analyses will generate descriptive statistics to characterize data from the survey. Bivariate and multivariate analyses will assess whether trends and relationships exist among survey responses. ArcView 9.0 software will be used to map/illustrate any trends and relationships. If trends and relationships are found to exist and are determined to potentially be a result of parasites and/or exposure to specific fungi present in soil, medical intervention and/or soil sampling recommendations will provided to appropriate agencies. For more information, to refer individuals, or to be considered for participation in the survey, please contact: Jane M. Perry, Director Chemical Hazards
Identifying Protein Interactions
While it is convenient to think of proteins as discrete and independent molecules, this is actually an oversimplified view. Many proteins require other proteins or cofactors for activity; and proteins involved in signal transduction, protein trafficking, cell cycle, and gene regulation must interact with other proteins in those processes.
Many of these interactions require particular domains called interaction domains. Proteins involved in the interactions contain combinations of interaction domains (for interaction with other proteins) and catalytic domains (for function of the protein). The interaction domain can bind the partner protein, even in the absence of the rest of the protein.
Interaction domains are often quite versatile, capable of binding a variety of related ligands. In addition, one protein may contain several different interaction domains. The modular nature of these domains allows the protein to interact with multiple target proteins in the cell; thus it provides a mechanism for integration and control of information from protein to protein in a cell. Such protein-protein interactions form the basis for our current understanding of cell signaling pathways and protein networks that regulate all the activities in a cell.
Because protein-protein interactions regulate the activities of cells, identifying them is critical to understanding cellular processes. Mass spectrometry techniques have been developed for large-scale screening to identify interacting proteins. For example, hundreds of known proteins in yeast were engineered to contain a biochemical tag that would allow the tagged protein to be separated from other proteins in a cell extract.
This was done gently so that other proteins bound to the tagged protein would still be attached. The tagged protein, along with any associated proteins, was then analyzed by mass spectrometry. The results revealed that about eighty-five percent of these proteins were associated with other proteins.
Although most interacted with many other proteins, in some cases two different protein complexes had at least one protein in common. Among the most intriguing questions to come out of this research were what controls which proteins interact and – for those that interact in multiple complexes – how do these proteins know which complex to join?
The Extracellular Matrix (ECM) While it is true that all living things are made of cells, that is only part of the story. Most of the cells in multicellular organisms are surrounded by a complex mixture of nonliving material that makes up the extracellular matrix (ECM). In some cases, the ECM accounts for more of the organism’s bulk than its cells.
Cefadroxil is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective in G+ and G- bacterial infections. It belongs to bactericidal antibiotics. All this means that you are treated for a suspected infection. The sensation of movement in your leg is quite likely related to infected tissue. You can think about an infected artery (you could become aware of blood flow and/ or pulse) or about infected muscle or tendon. As long as your leg is not running away from you things are relatively fine.
Sensations are rather difficult to take as point of departure! Take the anti biotics and evalute the situation after finishing the course! What is wise is to make a list when your problems have started and what type of therapeutical approaches have been suggested and/ or followed up. Also it is rational to ask for the reason of therapy. In your case I think the reason will be “on suspicion of” Sincerely, tamtam Last edited by tamtam on Sat Oct 28, 2006 11:36 am, edited 1 time in total.
Coda: A particular example is the possible similarity between scientific theory building and delusional thought. This can be understood using Bentall’s (1990) analysis of how normal and by extrapolation pathological belief systems develop. Most beliefs can be said to be established as a result of drawing inferences from some perceived data in the outside world. The belief is then normally subject to a further stage of information search in which additional data collection might refute or confirm it.
According to Bentall in the deluded psychotic there can be abnormalities at one or more of these stages for example: the patient misperceives the data in the first place or forms the wrong inference. Either way, he or she gets caught in a self fulfilling cognitive loop of confirmation bias. The person only attends to select out for notice those data that corroborate and hence progressively strengthen the belief. As Chadwick (1992) observes, scientific thinking could be said to proceed in the same way! Chadwick lists a number of similarities: the thought is held with great conviction and the person can hardly ever be argued out of it.
Talking about it causes considerable emotion to be expressed, especially anger at others failure to accept the ideas proposed. There are other “paranoid” reactions like grandiosity and tenacious hold on the theory (delusion) despite evidential dis-conformation and so on. Of course there are as Chadwick admits many differences among which are the fact that the scientific hypothesis generally does have a more plausible less person centered referent in the outside world (….)
“Morgellons disease does not exist” But what exists is the presence in public space of a contagious and environmentally resistant man made human pathogen in the form of a GMO (genetically modified microorganism)
This organism can consistently be connected to the unauthorized release of a highly modified GMO and “activity by the bio defense industry. (proteome research center and battlefield lab) Nota Bene: the difference between offense and defense is rather arbitrary! The organism is most associated with a synthetic model organism to know “a model organism based on a cyanobacterium” reference:
Whatever the motivation may be of the medical and scientific establishment; “they collaborate and keep in existence a most repressive type methodology” A methodology that seems only to serve and protect vital scientific, economic and in particular military interest. “I prefer to speak about the dilligent existence of a relentless self serving and seemingly highly corrupt medical and scientific body”
Coda: Dr. Pesutic described torture as the “criminal expression of a perversion of society’s values.” The criminal and unethical behaviour of doctors involved in or colluding in torture reflects a society’s moral decline.
The US bioethicist Edmund Pellegrino wrote: “Protection of the integrity of medical ethics is important for all of society. If medicine becomes, as Nazi medicine did, the handmaiden of economics, politics, or any force other than one that promotes the good of the patient, it loses its soul and becomes an instrument that justifies oppression and the violation of human rights.
About “That’s an honorable post” This was an excerpt/ section of a famous publication called critical thinking or critical analysis. Will seek the source and mention the authors later. I think the description fits the situation.
Remember also heliobacter pylori in 1982 and the introduction of a major (viral based) cause of prostrate cancer early this year. Such introductions are devastating for much existing interest (…) Again; my advise is to unite, create a legal base and to seek litigation. Today the medic and scientist are like priests. But shake that honorable tree and see what will happen next. Case after case!
“That was for the government” Serguei Popov:
Early on, I was already at security level three, but there were at least four levels of security. At level one, the explanation, called “an open legend,” was that there was no biological weapons program at all. The work at the institute was completely academic and open.
At level two, there was “a closed legend” explaining that there was a strictly defensive weapons program. At the third level, a particular person was provided with a description of some programs there were and what were the true purposes of these programs. But even this wasn’t the complete truth. The real truth was at level four, which I viewed only briefly much later on. I read these types of documents on only one occasion. Level number four described the purpose of specific programs and their interconnections. I read some of them, but I didn’t know the whole picture. And I believe that below level four, there was yet another level with a full description of all the bioweapons programs. That was for the government. I didn’t have that big picture. I think that Ken Alibek had that big vision. I have just fragments of that vision.
Remember: topical administration can only be regarded as palliative. It will never cure you of this infection.
That no efficient therapeutic approach is possible is not established. But based on its composition (a cyanobacterium fused with at least one mayor parasitic protozoa) makes it unlikely that an easy solution will be readily available. Doubtfully sure I predict that therapy may have to include toxic compounds like amphotericin B as indicated against protothecosis and/ or highly toxic therapeutic agents as used against trypanosomes.
“And now include the idea that a yet unknown percentage of the population may prove positive for this element including the very young and other risk group” Next, this synthetic agent may prove multi drug resistant or show a unique susceptibility pattern. Remember that people have tried many substances including cocktails and I think that nobody can claim to have cured from this infection although some improvement seems possible.
The fact that standard laboratory tests do not yield a clue and that biopsies tend to stay free of this infectious agent is not an established standard to measure with. Per definition it would not be the first infectious agent that is very difficult to culture or to observe in tissue samples. That doctors are not willing to take care for the ones that are obviously affected may soon be matter of history and I think a correction involving more than one discipline is unavoidable.
“It has happened in 1982 with heliobacter pylori (a major cause of stomach ulcer previously a condition thought not to be caused by a micro organism) Early this year a similar thing happened with findings relating to one of the most prevalent forms of cancer in the western world to know prostrate cancer (now consistently associated with a viral infection) The story is always the same; the matter is silently accepted without much explanation about its impact on the disciplines and R&D."
An opportunist character definitely must rule. You can not write a paper about this infectious agent because you need consistent research findings to do so. This is primarily budget and time dependent and research also would involve a group patients. Also it is my opinion that only an Institute like CDC can do this investigation. They have the research means and the budget and are per definition responsible for the apparent lack of assessment.
“Next, I am rather convinced that it are only politics that rule against obtaining full assessment at once” Sincerely, tamtam
Best would be pulse therapy combined with prolonged 200mg per day (up to six or more months) Next to topical econazole or sulconazole nitrate cream. People also report effect with total body washings with selsun (selenium sulphite) Terramycine (skin and eye cream) is also effective and can be used for the eyes although fluconazole or itraconazole drops will be more effective (but must be made from an IV solution) Again; topical administration can not do the job. Its a systemic disease. Also it is not established that this type therapy will prevent a relapse. Ask your GP for support!
What I know is that if they point the slit lamp to the corners of the eye they may be able to see a brownish infiltrate. Brownish infiltrates are consistent with a protothecosis like infection. What the organism does is that it attempts to replace tissue – also behind the eye. You could try to emphasize that often no organisms are found. This type condition is well known by dogs. Example of International business contacts:
Germ-warfare agents: Israeli intelligence sources have been cited for reports that anthrax had been found in hospitalized Iranians. Iranian sources have referred to Iraqi use of “microbic” and “bacteriological” weapons. Mycotoxins: A Belgian forensic toxicologist has claimed that his laboratory has found mycotoxins (T2, HT2, nivalenol and verrucarol) in addition to mustard gas in samples of blood, urine and faeces taken from Iranian gas victims hospitalized in Vienna, but this claim currently remains unverified and open to question.
There are reports of similar findings from patients hospitalized in Belgium, France, FR Germany, Sweden and Switzerland, but these too still remain open to doubt, especially since, in the Swedish case, the Swedish authorities concerned have expressly repudiated the report. The UN team inspected cadavers returned to Tehran from Swedish and Austrian hospitals, but its report makes no mention of any post-mortem tissue samples having been taken for analysis. Mycotoxins were sought but not found in the chemical samples analyzed by the UN team.
The search method used had a detection limit of 0.00005 per cent: i.e., capable of finding mycotoxins at loadings greater than a third of a gram per 250-lb bomb. Novel unidentified agent: There has been speculation in the press about Iraqi use of a toxic agent unknown in the West. This was excited by reports early in March from the Gzaiel sector, just to the north of Basra, of groups of Iranian corpses having been seen that were said to bear no external trace of injury–looking as though they had fallen asleep in their foxholes. Indigenous or external sources of supply? With the exceptions, maybe, of the last two of these different categories of putative Iraqi agent, sources of supply might as well be indigenous as external to Iraq, given the technology implied.
Involvement of the last three categories would, in some circles, implicate the USSR as supplier, for the reason that the USSR is said, on evidence that has yet to be solidly substantiated but which has nonetheless attracted some firm believers, to have weaponized all three of them in recent years. For its part, the USSR has expressly denied supplying Iraq with toxic weapons. Reports of Soviet supply attributed to US and other intelligence sources have nonetheless recurred. The earliest predate reports of Iraqi use of chemical weapons in the Gulf War. Official Iranian commentaries, too, have pointed to the USSR as a supplier of the Iraqi weapons.
These sources have also accused Brazil, France and, most conspicuously, Britain of supplying the weapons. No basis for any of these Iranian accusations has been disclosed. France, alongside Czechoslovakia and both Germanies, is reportedly also rumoured, among “foreign military and diplomatic sources” in Baghdad, to have supplied Iraq with chemical precursors needed for an indigenous production effort. Unofficial published sources have cited Egypt as a possible supplier of actual chemical weapons. In the mid-1960s, when Iraq was alleged to be using chemical weapons against insurgent Kurdish forces, Swiss and German sources of supply were reported in the Western press. http://www.iranchamber.com/history/arti … aq_war.php
Microcystins The microcystins are hepatotoxic products of freshwater blooms of cyanobacteria of Microcystis spp., M. aeruginosa in particular. Microcystin-LR, also known as the fast death factor, is the most common of the microcystins and presumably the toxin of choice to be weaponized.
Although the aerosolized form of microcystin is the most likely threat, ingestion–even from natural sources–must be considered a significant hazard Microcystins have been implicated in the death of human dialysis patients (69).
The toxic effect of microcystin administered intraperitoneally is rapid; it affects bile flow in < 10 min. Death in laboratory animals is due to hypovolemic shock caused by interstitial hemorrhage following liver necrosis (60,66). Mice administered the aerosol LD50, 67 µg/kg, died within hours (66). An ID50 of 1-10 mg (per person) for microcystin by an unspecified route of exposure has been estimated (32).
A conservative drinking water NOAEL for microcystin would be 10 µg/L for soldiers consuming 15 L/day; however, the World Health Organization has adopted a drinking water standard of 1.0 µg/L total microcystins for lifetime exposure. The microcystins are all water soluble and temperature stable (61,66).
Microcystin is essentially unaffected by 30 min exposure to 100 mg/L FAC (67). Iodine has no effect at 16 mg/L. Microcystin removal from water by RO is > 90%, but coagulation/flocculation was not effective (67), in agreement with earlier findings that alum flocculation, filtration, and chlorination are ineffective in the removal of cyanobacterial toxins.
Vuori et al. (62) found that an individual hand-operated drinking water purifier containing carbon, ion exchange resin, and silver had no effect on microcystin concentration, although RO was completely effective. http://www.ehponline.org/members/1999/1 … -full.html
Among the believers About the testimony of Dr. Greg Smith. Dr. Smith forgets to mention that he sticks out his professional neck – only – because he has to acknowledge that he has been contaminated. Indeed this environmentally resistant man-made human pathogen has distributed itself but its not the first time that a release has occurred. “Through statistic and information provided by select agent specialists they must have known about the risks and what it would mean in terms of a steady flow of cases and its subsequent effect on R&D over an X number of years” Again I like to emphasize that it is necessary to unite, create a legal base and to seek litigation. What also for the US can be objectified is that all concerns the unauthorized release of a highly modified and pathogenic micro organism (GMO)
This micro organism may prove to be multi drug resistant (MDR) And that it is most rational and justified that the public demands criminal investigation to determine its provenance. Again I like to emphasize that it is necessary to unite, create a legal base and to seek litigation. Sincerely, tamtam
“What! Another of those damned, fat, square, thick books!” an exasperated Duke of Gloucester is supposed to have said to Edward Gibbon upon being presented Volume 2 of “The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.” “Always scribble, scribble, scribble, eh, Mr. Gibbon!”
Why not classify a GMO? R. Seeberi maybe indeed, but not the old one! Classification will cause debate.
The class mesomycetozoea: a heterogeneous group of microorganisms at the animal-fungal boundary; Mendoza L et al.; When the enigmatic fish pathogen, the rosette agent, was first found to be closely related to the choanoflagellates, no one anticipated finding a new group of organisms . Subsequently, a new group of microorganisms at the boundary between animals and fungi was reported .
Several microbes with similar phylogenetic backgrounds were soon added to the group . Interestingly, these microbes had been considered to be fungi or protists. This novel phylogenetic group has been referred to as the DRIP clade (an acronym of the original members: Dermocystidium, rosette agent, Ichthyophonus, and Psorospermium), as the class Ichthyosporea, and more recently as the class Mesomycetozoea .
Two orders have been described in the mesomycetozoeans: the Dermocystida and the Ichthyophonida . So far, all members in the order Dermocystida have been pathogens either of fish (Dermocystidium spp . and the rosette agent) or of mammals and birds (Rhinosporidium seeberi), and most produce uniflagellated zoospores . Fish pathogens also are found in the order Ichthyophonida, but so are saprotrophic microbes . The Ichthyophonida species do not produce flagellated cells, but many produce amoeba-like cells .
This review provides descriptions of the genera that comprise the class Mesomycetozoea and highlights their morphological features, pathogenic roles, and phylogenetic relationships.
J Mol Biol, 2002 Aug 23, 321(4), 621 – 36 Crystal structures of the reaction intermediate and its homologue of an extradiol-cleaving catecholic dioxygenase; Sato N et al.; BphC derived from Pseudomonas sp . strain KKS102 is an extradiol-cleaving catecholic dioxygenase . This enzyme contains a non-heme iron atom and plays an important role in degrading biphenyl/polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in the microbe .
To elucidate detailed structures of BphC reaction intermediates, crystal structures of the substrate-free form, the BphC-substrate complex, and the BphC-substrate-NO (nitric oxide) complex were determined . These crystal structures revealed (1) the binding site of the O(2) molecule in the coordination sphere and (2) conformational changes of His194 during the catalytic reaction . On the basis of these findings, we propose a catalytic mechanism for the extradiol-cleaving catecholic dioxygenase in which His194 seems to play three distinct roles .
At the early stage of the catalytic reaction, His194 appears to act as a catalytic base, which likely deprotonates the hydroxyl group of the substrate . At the next stage, the protonated His194 seems to stabilize a negative charge on the O2 molecule located in the hydrophobic O2-binding cavity . Finally, protonated His194 seems to function as a proton donor, whose existence has been proposed.
Genome sequence of the endocellular obligate symbiont of tsetse flies, Wigglesworthia glossinidia; Akman L et al.; Many insects that rely on a single food source throughout their developmental cycle harbor beneficial microbes that provide nutrients absent from their restricted diet . Tsetse flies, the vectors of African trypanosomes, feed exclusively on blood and rely on one such intracellular microbe for nutritional provisioning and fecundity . As a result of co-evolution with hosts over millions of years, these mutualists have lost the ability to survive outside the sheltered environment of their host insect cells . We present the complete annotated genome of Wigglesworthia glossinidia brevipalpis, which is composed of one chromosome of 697,724 base pairs (bp) and one small plasmid, called pWig1, of 5,200 bp .
Genes involved in the biosynthesis of vitamin metabolites, apparently essential for host nutrition and fecundity, have been retained . Unexpectedly, this obligate’s genome bears hallmarks of both parasitic and free-living microbes, and the gene encoding the important regulatory protein DnaA is absent.
Polyunsaturated fatty acids have crucial roles in membrane biology and signaling processes in most living organisms . However, it is only recently that molecular genetic approaches have allowed detailed studies of the enzymes involved in their synthesis . New evidence has revealed a range of pathways in different organisms . These include a complex sequence for synthesis of docosahexaenoic acid (22:6) in mammals and a polyketide synthase pathway in marine microbes. man…. too much … need some help data mining here…. http://www.bionewsonline.com/h/1/microbes_c.htm -nadas
No data exists on the activity of biocides (antiseptics and disinfectants) on Rhinosporidium seeberi that causes rhinosporidiosis in humans and animals. On account of the inability to culture R. seeberi, in vitro, dyes were used to assess the morphological integrity and viability of biocide-treated endospores that are considered to be the infective stage of this pathogen.
Evan’s Blue (EvB) identifies the morphological integrity of the endospores while MTT (3-[4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2yl]-2, 5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide) identifies metabolic activity through its reduction by cellular dehydrogenases to microscopically visible deposits of insoluble formazan.
MTT-negativity has earlier been shown to correlate with absence of growth of yeast and mycelial fungi in culture and could thus indicate the loss of viability of MTT-negative rhinosporidial endospores. Hydrogen peroxide, glutaraldehyde, chloroxylenol, chlorhexidine, cetrimide, thimerosal, 70% ethanol, iodine in 70% ethanol, 10% formalin, povidone-iodine, sodium azide and silver nitrate were tested on freshly-harvested endospores and all biocides caused metabolic inactivation with or without altered structural integrity as shown by absence of MTT-staining after 3, 24 or 36 hour after exposure, while EvB stained only the endospores treated with sodium azide, ethanol, thimerosal, chloroxylenol, glutaraldehyde and hydrogen peroxide.
With clinically useful biocides – chlorhexidine, cetrimide-chlorhexidine, 70% ethanol, povidone-iodine and silver nitrate, a total period of exposure of endospores to the biocide, for seven minutes, produced metabolic inactivation of the endospores.
Anti-rhinosporidial antiseptics that could be used in surgery on rhinosporidial patients include povidone-iodine in nasal packs for nasal and naso-pharyngeal surgery, chlorhexidine and cetrimide-chlorhexidine on the skin, while povidone-iodine and silver nitrate could have application in ocular rhinosporidiosis. http://www.pjms.com.pk/issues/octdec05/ … port5.html http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/quer … d=16687856 =nadas
The unique structure of the human eye as well as exposure of the eye directly to the environment renders it vulnerable to a number of uncommon infectious diseases caused by fungi and parasites. Host defenses directed against these microorganisms, once anatomical barriers are breached, are often insufficient to prevent loss of vision. Therefore, the timely identification and treatment of the involved microorganisms are paramount. The anatomy of the eye and its surrounding structures is presented with an emphasis upon the association of the anatomy with specific infection of fungi and parasites.
For example, filamentous fungal infections of the eye are usually due to penetrating trauma by objects contaminated by vegetable matter of the cornea or globe or, by extension, of infection from adjacent paranasal sinuses. Fungal endophthalmitis and chorioretinitis, on the other hand, are usually the result of antecedent fungemia seeding the ocular tissue. Candida spp. are the most common cause of endogenous endophthalmitis, although initial infection with the dimorphic fungi may lead to infection and scarring of the chorioretina. Contact lens wear is associated with keratitis caused by yeasts, filamentous fungi, and Acanthamoebae spp. Most parasitic infections of the eye, however, arise following bloodborne carriage of the microorganism to the eye or adjacent structures.
A successful culture of P . orbiculare and P. ovale on human stratum corneum in vitro is described . When the stratum corneum pieces were incubated for 5 days in an environment with 7% CO2, a picture resembling that seen microscopically in tinea versicolor was observed . Purpose of review: Significant advances in knowledge on rhinosporidiosis and Rhinosporidium seeberi were made in 1999, 2000, 2003 and 2004. These advances are reviewed on account of the continuing sporadic occurrence of the disease universally, and because of the availability of new approaches that could resolve persisting enigmas of both the disease and its causative pathogen.
Recent findings: R. seeberi, the pathogen that causes rhinosporidiosis, has been definitively classified using molecular biological tools in a new clade – the Mesomycetozoea, along with 10 parasitic and saprobic microbes. The controversial spherical bodies of the endospores have been shown to comprise both lipid/protein nutritive bodies and other spherical bodies that are metabolizing units that reduce MTT (3-[4,5-dimethyl-2-thiazolyl]-2,5-diphenyl-2H-tetrazolium bromide). This indicates the viability of these spherical bodies, provisionally identified as the electron dense bodies that have also been shown to contain nucleic acids.
MTT reduction as an indicator of viability has been used to determine the sensitivity of rhinosporidial endospores to biocides, antimicrobial drugs, and to specific antibodies. Genetic heterogeneity has been identified in strains from humans and animals. Cell-mediated and humoral immune responses have been demonstrated in human patients and in mice. Several mechanisms of immune evasion by R. seeberi have been identified.
Summary: These findings are applicable in both clinical and laboratory practice, while the basic advances have implications in further work on experimental pathogenicity, the biology of R. seeberi, and on the epidemiology and pathogenesis of rhinosporidiosis.
Important article: Cyanobacterial lipopolysaccharide/s (LPS) are frequently cited in the cyanobacteria literature as toxins responsible for a variety of health effects in humans, from skin rashes to gastrointestinal, respiratory and allergic reactions. The study of LPS, which was largely concerned with investigating fever, progressed in the late 1940s with the discovery of endogenous pyrogens [49].
Since then, the field of cytokine biology has made enormous strides. It is now understood that the pathological effects of LPS are indirect, i.e. LPS acts by initiating a cascade of host-mediated responses “The reason that cyanobacterial LPS has not been discussed here is simply that the required research has not been done” http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache:nG … =clnk&cd=3
Bacterial quorum sensing (QS) pathways allow bacteria to sense their cell density and respond by coordinating protein expression. Thus bacteria communicate and can coordinate their efforts in diverse activities such as building biofilms, transferring DNA, or causing infections.
QS has forced microbiologists to view bacteria not as single entities but as interactive and heterogeneous communities that must be studied within this context. This interactivity and communication extends beyond microbes at prokaryote-eukaryote interfaces such as the host-pathogen relationship. Thus, much of what we are learning may extend beyond the microbial world. http://www.the-scientist.com/article/display/14927/ A Maggie Mae find as earlier quoted
Lacazia loboi and Rhinosporidium seeberi: a genomic perspective Mendoza, L.; Vilela, R.; Rosa, P. S.; Belone, A. F. F. 2005
Revista Iberoamericana de Micologia 22(4): 213-216 In the past five years, with the use of molecular strategies the phylogenetic affinities of the two more resilient pathogens studied in medical mycology, Lacazia loboi and Rhinosporidium seeberi were finally deciphered.
These studies found that L. loboi was the sister taxon to Paracoccidioides brasiliensis, and R. seeberi was closely related to protistan spherical aquatic fish pathogens, located at the point were animals diverged from the fungi, in the class Mesomycetozoea. These initial studies indicated that a molecular strategy was the ideal approach to further understand these anomalous pathogens.
However, the limited amount of information gathered so far from few DNA sequences, although crucial to place these organisms in the tree of life and to take a glance to their ecological preferences, did not provide answers to other important traits.
In the following pages we discuss a genomic perspective for both pathogens and the benefit that such information could generate to understand more about these two uncultivated pathogens. Perhaps the most significant finding revealed by the DNA data was the recent report of host specific strains in the genus R h i n o s p o r i d i u m [13]. PRELIMINARY REMARK: In June 1985 the Subcommittee on the taxonomic of Phototrophic Bacteria proposed that names of cyanobacteria described and validly published as blue-green algae under the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature are recognized as having been published under the Bacteriological Code (1990 Revision) [1].
In September 1986, the Judicial Commission agreed unanimously to recommend the following to the ICSB (now ICSP): those names of taxa of Cyanobacteria and Cyanophyta that are valid under the Botanical Code be considered valid under the Bacteriological Code for the purpose of preparing an acceptance list comparable to the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names [2].
However, “Declarations of intent” by the Judicial Commission were not taken up by the ICSB (now ICSP). ?In 2003, the “Subcommitteee on the taxonomy of phototrophic bacteria” [3] proposed the preparation of a list of approved names of cyanobateria under the Bacteriological Code and a small committee was appointed to prepare such a list.
However, such a list is not yet available. Consequently, names of cyanobacteria described and validly published as blue-green algae under the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature have no standing in bacterial nomenclature, unless they are again described under the Rules of the Bacteriological Code (1990 revision).
Genomic DNA homologies were examined from six Microcystis (cyanobacteria) strains, including five different species, Microcystis aeruginosa, Microcystis ichthyoblabe, Microcystis novacekii, Microcystis viridis and Microcystis wesenbergii.
All DNA–DNA reassociation values between two strains of M. aeruginosa and the other four species exceeded 70%, which is considered high enough for them to be classified within the same bacterial species. It is proposed to unify these five species into M. aeruginosa under the Rules of the Bacteriological Code and NIES843(T) (=IAM M-247(T)) is proposed as the type strain.
Two other species, Microcystis flos-aquae and Microcystis pseudofilamentosa, should be regarded as morphological variations of this unified M. aeruginosa. The current taxonomy of cyanobacteria depends too much upon morphological characteristics and must be reviewed by means of bacteriological methods as well as traditional botanical methods.
The authors of the sections on the cyanobacteria in Bergey’s Manual admit that the proposed classification is a temporary one that will undoubtedly require modification in the future. They state that many generic names used in the past (e.g. Synechococcus, Leptolyngbya, Pseudanabaena) will eventually have to be split into several new genera (Castenholz, 2001).
This is especially true if molecular phylogenetic analyses based on sequence comparison of 16S rRNA and other relevant genes are used as the basis of taxonomy and nomenclature. Members of the orders Chroococcales, Pleurocapsales and Oscillatoriales do not form coherent phylogenetic lineages but instead are dispersed throughout the phylogenetic tree (Wilmotte, 1994; Wilmotte & Herdman, 2001). http://ijs.sgmjournals.org/cgi/content/full/54/5/1895
A total of 29 recurring sequence motifs (30 to 200 nt long) have been found in intergenic regions. Nine different types of motifs are present, most of them arranged as tandem repeats. These motifs may be implicated in transcription, e.g. as signals for initiation, termination and/or processing.
Phylogenetic analysis on the basis of the cox1 gene strongly suggested that P. wickerhamii and plant mitochondrial genomes are monophyletic. The finding of plant-specific mitochondrial genes such as orf25, orf244, orfB and rrn5 in P. wickerhamii mitochondria corroborates this idea.
Its all about infection with a very difficult to culture and highly modified micro organism.
Excerpt from this important article: Confidence in predicting significantly more algal species than are recognized now is based upon the annual rate of new species descriptions, the large geographical areas that to date have been only poorly explored phycologically, and the morphological similarity that frequently masks genetic diversity, notably among coccoid picoplankton (373)
Even the most cursory glance at the literature illustrates the pace and range of new microorganism discovery: completely novel bacteria being found in such commonplace environments as activated sludge (7, 178, 347), caves (191), and the human gut (430); novel rickettsial endosymbionts in common soil and water amebae (145); and high bacterial and genetic diversity in deep-sea sediments (79, 80, 290, 382). However, this brief survey also raises several general issues of importance for the biotechnology search activity.
“Such revisions are evident not only at lower taxonomic levels but also at division (e.g., pseudomonads [261]) and order (e.g., Chlamydiales [121, 398]) levels. Gene sequencing studies can also be used to resolve the phylogenetic position of so-called enigmatic organisms. In recent years the putative protozoan Epulopiscium fishelsoni has been proved to be an unusually large bacterium (13), the putative alga Prototheca richardsi has been demonstrated to be a member of a newly recognized clade near the animal-fungal divergence point (24), and microsporidia appear to be related to fungi rather than being early-diverging Several authors have commented recently on the use—or misuse—of rDNA sequence data as the sole descriptor for establishing a taxon (336) or for suggesting that a single molecular marker can serve to reveal phylogenetic relationships of bacteria (162).eukaryotes (213)”
i.e., the ratio of known metabolites to species richness of a particular taxon (112); (iii) focus on novel and neglected taxa, examples of which are evident in the previous section of this review; (iv) highlight isolates from unusual or little-explored ecosystems, e.g., mycoparasites (485); and (v) match the target with members of previously unscreened but known taxa, e.g., the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-inactivating protein cyanovirin-N as a result of screening cyanobacteria (49, 50).
One prerequisite to natural-product discovery that remains paramount is the range and novelty of molecular diversity. This diversity surpasses that of combinatorial chemical libraries and consequently provides unique lead compounds for drug and other developments.
Newly discovered bioactive products do not usually become drugs per se (345, 449) but may enter a chemical transformation program in which the bioactivity and pharmacodynamic properties are modified to suit particular therapeutic needs. Several reviews are available that detail important recent developments in this field (75, 212, 271).
There is a strong view that biopharmaceutin leads are more likely to be detected in cell function assays than in in vitro assays (210). In this context, construction of surrogate host cells for in vivo drug screening is an interesting development.
For example, the ability of Saccharomyces cerevisiae to express heterologous proteins makes it an attractive option; its use in screens based on substitution assays, differential expression assays, and transactivation assays is proving to be an effective route to drug discovery. The procedures involved and the future for S. cerevisiae as a tool for targeted screening have been discussed recently by Munder and Hinnen (334).
The Paradigm Shift “typical of any new technology: a slow initial phase followed by a period of rapid growth (selectively in biotechnology, where it has occurred predominantly in the health care sector) and entry into a mature phase of consolidation and penetration. Thus, biotechnology currently can be defined as a robust, reliable, and relatively low risk technology (current debates on genetically modified organisms notwithstanding) and capable of being implemented on a large scale and across the full range of industrial sectors”
http://ijs.sgmjournals.org/cgi/content/full/54/5/1895 S10.03 Rhinosporidium, is it still a fungus?
R.A. Herr, L. Mendoza, L. Ajello
Medical College of Ohio, Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Toledo,
Ohio, USA
The etiological agent of rhinosporidiosis, Rhinosporidium seeberi, was first described by Malbran in 1892. Since this first observation, over a century has passed and the taxonomy of this enigmatic organism remains controversial. Previous investigators have provisionally classified R. seeberi as a protist, phycomycete, and an ascomy-cetous fungus.
These historical attempts to establish the taxonomic position of R.
seeberi have been solely based on light and electron-microscopic observations of the pathogen within infected host tissues.
Intractability to culture, lack of an animal model of infection, and an unknown ecological niche have all contributed to the difficulties in classification of R. seeberi. Recently, several investigators have employed molecular phylogenetic analysis to reveal the taxonomic affinities of R. seeberi.
The first of these studies Herr et al. (1999), found that the sequence of the 18S SSU rDNA of R. seeberi from two Sri Lankan patients with rhinosporidiosis clustered with a recently discover-ed group of fish parasites. This study was later corroborated independently by Frede-ricks et al. (2000), whose 18S SSU rDNA sequence from a dog with rhinosporidiosis proved to be identical to that of the human isolates sequenced by Herr et al.
Most recently, the 18S SSU rDNA sequence of R. seeberi from a swan with conjunctival rhinosporidiosis was also found to be identical to those previously published.
These molecular data all placed R. seeberi within the DRIP clade (DRIP:
Dermocystidium, rosette agent, Ichthyophonus, and Psorospermium) Ragan et al. (1996). The DRIP clade, renamed as the class Ichthyosporea, by Cavalier-Smith (1998) and more recently as the class Mesomycetozoea by Mendoza et al. (2002) is comprised of organisms at the most basal branch of the animal-fungal divergence. R. seeberi has several features in common with other mesomycetozoeans: (a) it was previously classified as a fungus or a different type of protozoan; (b) it is associated with aquatic environments; (c) it produces spherical structures containing several daughter cells (endospores); and (d) R. seeberi and some other mesomycetozoeans are intractable to culture. In spite of these similarities, R. seeberi differs from the other mesomyceto-zoeans in that it is the only member known to cause disease in mammals and birds.
Genetic Isolation of Meningococci of the Electrophoretic Type 37 Complex N. meningitidis is one of the most variable bacterial species colonizing the human host. This is reflected by the fact that over 1,000 STs have been identified by MLST since publication of the method in 1998 (28). The genetic variability is due in large part to recombination (11, 12). However, despite frequent recombination, the population structure of N. meningitidis is not panmictic.
Only a few clonal groupings, which have been known for decades, have been demonstrated to be responsible for majority of cases of serogroup A, B, and C meningococcal disease. Accordingly, measurement of the frequency of recombination by using the homoplasy test revealed that recombination was much less obvious in meningococci than in H. pylori
The Lost Promise of Patriotism: Debating American Identity, 1890-1920 By Jonathan M Hansen During the years leading up to World War I, America experienced a crisis of civic identity. How could a country founded on liberal principles and composed of increasingly diverse cultures unite to safeguard individuals and promote social justice?
In this book, Jonathan Hansen tells the story of a group of American intellectuals who believed the solution to this crisis lay in rethinking the meaning of liberalism.Intellectuals such as William James, John Dewey, Jane Addams, Eugene V. Debs, and W. E. B. Du Bois repudiated liberalism’s association with acquisitive individualism and laissez-faire economics, advocating a model of liberal citizenship whose virtues and commitments amount to what Hansen calls cosmopolitan patriotism. Rooted not in war but in dedication to social equity, cosmopolitan patriotism favored the fight against sexism, racism, and political corruption in the United States over battles against foreign foes.
Its adherents held the domestic and foreign policy of the United States to its own democratic ideals and maintained that promoting democracy universally constituted the ultimate form of self-defense. Perhaps most important, the cosmopolitan patriots regarded critical engagement with one’s country as the essence of patriotism, thereby justifying scrutiny of American militarism in wartime.
Title: Staphylococcus aureus Virulence Factor Regulation.
Abstract: Staphylococcus aureus can cause a range of infections, syndromes, and toxicosis that vary in their severity, duration, and pathogenic mechanism. One common factor affecting the establishment and progression of staphylococcal disease is the production of the requisite cell-surface and extracellular proteins.
S. aureus can produce upward of 40 molecules that augment virulence. These factors are regulated in a specific manner. The bacteria use signal transduction systems to sense the environmental conditions they encounter during the course of the pathogenic process and a regulatory RNA along with various transcriptional activators and repressors to optimize the expression of many genes to enhance survival new milieus. I will provide an overview of the staphylococcal regulatory loci, discuss our work on the identification and characterization of new transcriptional regulators, and within the limits of what is known, provide a model for the regulatory circuit that governs the production of virulence factors in S. aureus.
School of Microbiology and Immunology, The University of New South Wales, Australia. BACKGROUND: Blooms of toxic cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) have become increasingly common in the surface waters of the world. Of the known toxins produced by cyanobacteria, the microcystins are the most significant threat to human and animal health. These cyclic peptides are potent inhibitors of eukaryotic protein phosphatases type 1 and 2A. Synthesized nonribosomally, the microcystins contain a number of unusual amino acid residues including the beta-amino polyketide moiety Adda (3-amino-9-methoxy-2,6, 8-trimethyl-10-phenyl-4,6-decadienoic acid).
We have characterized the microcystin biosynthetic gene cluster from Microcystis aeruginosa PCC7806. RESULTS: A cluster spanning 55 kb, composed of 10 bidirectionally transcribed open reading frames arranged in two putative operons (mcyA-C and mcyD-J), has been correlated with microcystin formation by gene disruption and mutant analysis. Of the 48 sequential catalytic reactions involved in microcystin synthesis, 45 have been assigned to catalytic domains within six large multienzyme synthases/synthetases (McyA-E, G), which incorporate the precursors phenylacetate, malonyl-CoA, S-adenosyl-L-methionine, glutamate, serine, alanine, leucine, D-methyl-isoaspartate, and arginine.
The additional four monofunctional proteins are putatively involved in O-methylation (McyJ), epimerization (McyF), dehydration (McyI), and localization (McyH). The unusual polyketide amino acid Adda is formed by transamination of a polyketide precursor as enzyme-bound intermediate, and not released during the process. CONCLUSIONS: This report is the first complete description of the biosynthesis pathway of a complex cyanobacterial metabolite.
The enzymatic organization of the microcystin assembly represents an integrated polyketide-peptide biosynthetic pathway with a number of unusual structural and enzymatic features. These include the integrated synthesis of a beta-amino-pentaketide precursor and the formation of beta- and gamma-carboxyl-peptide bonds, respectively. Other features of this complex system also observed in diverse related biosynthetic clusters are integrated C- and N-methyltransferases, an integrated aminotransferase, and an associated O-methyltransferase and a racemase acting on acidic amino acids.
interesting about the copper sulphate....negative blood types have copper based blood, perhaps they are immune to morgellans? perhaps this is a biological weapon to wipe out the 85% of us they want dead? considering the 85% of us are primarily rh+, I would say this is likely not far off the mark.
