How Spirits Talk – Swedenborg and Life - Part 8 of solutions

Vatic Note:   This fits in very well with the series.   Its a different journey than I have ever been on before, and I am sure many of you may have traveled it before, so you know  what to expect and what to do, while I did not.  This has been very educational for me, but more important, I believe it will be a critical part of our solutions series, so stay tuned and keep reading and preparing for the final solution.

FUNDRAISING:   We are getting close to the first of the month and still need $110 to meet our deficit by the first of the month. We would like to thank the person that donated and brought our balance down to such a managable level.    If you can afford it, please donate off to the right of the blog at the paypal button.  Thanks and God Bless you for  helping to keep us  up on the net.

In this episode, host Curtis Childs guides us through 18th-century philosopher Emanuel Swedenborg’s recorded spiritual explorations and revelations to see what they can tell us about how spirits talk. Swedenborg said of angels: “Their love and wisdom unite in speech. As a result, it is so full of wisdom that they can in a single word express what we cannot say in a thousand words.”

Who’s the Host?

Curtis Childs is the digital media producer at the Swedenborg Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose goal is to spread 18th-century philosopher Emanuel Swedenborg’s timeless message of hope to all. While obtaining his degree in communication studies from Oakland University, Curtis experienced an internal battle with depression that led him to question God, existence, and his lifelong interest in Swedenborgian theology.

After a period of intense suffering, he recovered from his depression with the help of modern medicine, therapy, and a return to the spiritually uplifting messages he found in Swedenborg’s writings. Now, Curtis is applying his education and desire to help others find peace through Swedenborg’s insights by producing and hosting a weekly webcast called Swedenborg and Life on the offTheLeftEye YouTube channel.

Each week, Curtis and his behind-the-scenes team pour their talents and passions into creating a new episode for a worldwide audience that focuses on spiritual and societal topics such as the afterlife, angels and spirits, near-death experiences, overcoming worldly issues, and more.
