His plans to take this movement national will be launched at a January meeting, where he anticipates 200 sheriffs will be in attendance.

Richard Mack was a sheriff. He is mentioned in one of the links. He is now traveling the country teaching sheriff's their duty and role in protecting the freedoms of we the people.
Though, people, should always know to use discernment. I say this because, Mack's website shows him in a photo with Charlton Heston, former President of the National Rifle Association. This association teaches we should be able to own guns for hunting. No, we should be able to own firearms in protecting oneself from the enemy, whomever that may be. The right to protect oneself and family from harm, that is freedom.
What the Sheriffs need to do is put the Well Regulated Malitia back together so they have a bite as big as thier bark! That institution was what the founders gave us as our last line of defence against the type of corruption destroying our nation as we speek. We The PEOPLE should never of let this madness go soo far! This nasty mess should have been nibbed in the bud in 1933, millions of lives & countless fortunes could have been saved!
