Paul Ryan is famously described as what Republicans think a smart person sounds like. But sometimes the speaker of the House outsmarts himself.

Ryan lectured Young Republicans in his native Wisconsin last Friday, and the national news media were invited to listen along. The speaker wanted to make the case for Republican voters to turn out and back GOP congressional candidates, even if they can’t stomach their party’s scandal-plagued presidential ticket. Implicit in Ryan’s argument was the suggestion that a Republican-controlled House of Representatives and Senate could be counted on to obstruct Hillary Clinton’s supposedly “liberal progressive” agenda.

But in a question-and-answer session following his unremarkable speech, Ryan inadvertently made a case for liberals and progressives to turn out in big numbers in order to elect Democratic candidates in the fight for control of the Senate.

As he outlined his Wall Street–friendly proposals for tax reforms that would more rapidly redistribute wealth upward, and for budgets that would put vulnerable Americans at greater risk while increasing burdens for middle-class families, the speaker explained that his agenda can advance only if Republicans control both the House and Senate. “If we keep control of the Senate in the Republican hands…a nice guy named Mike Enzi from Wyoming is the Senate budget chair and he helps us get these budgets to the president’s desk, gets these tax bills through,” he said.

On the other hand, Ryan warned, “If we lose the Senate, do you know who becomes chair of the Senate Budget Committee? A guy named Bernie Sanders. You ever heard of him?”

WikiLeaks released the third installment of its cache of Hillary Clinton campaign manager John Podesta's hacked emails early Tuesday, revealing the inner workings of the Clinton camp's efforts to spin news items and influence reporting; their strategies to take down the presidential campaign of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.); and the often cozy relationship between Podesta and corporate lobbyists.

For instance, one email featured Gordon Giffin, a lobbyist for TransCanada, the company behind the Keystone XL pipeline, asking Podesta personally to secure a seat for him at the White House state dinner with Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. "Giffin is a [so-called] 'Hillblazer' who has contributed or raised at least $100,000 for Clinton and her joint funds with the Democratic Party," Politico observed.

Another exchange shows top aides struggling to spin contentious moments, including a statement Clinton made last February about her vote for a 2001 bankruptcy bill that favored credit card companies. Clinton said she was pressured to vote for the legislation by women's groups.

"She said women groups [sic] were all pressuring her to vote for it. Evidence does not support that statement," Clinton campaign senior policy adviser Ann O'Leary wrote.

Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign proved to the corporate media and political elite that the progressive ideas he championed—healthcare for all, free college tuition, progressive taxation, a living wage—are not fringe ideas. In fact, as the senator explained in an exclusive interview with The Nation magazine, this is what most Americans want.

"I believed from my heart of hearts that the ideas I was talking about were not courageous, radical, bold ideas," he told editor Katrina vanden Heuvel and national affairs correspondent John Nichols. "The ideas that I was talking about are what most Americans would support if they had the chance to hear these views, which they do not under normal circumstances."

"You could watch CNN for the next 14 years, and you're not going to hear a discussion about the need for a single-payer health-care system," he continued. "You're not going to see a critique of the drug companies, and you're not going to hear much discussion about income and wealth inequality. My view was that if we could get out to the American people, get the exposure, make the personal contacts, we would do well."

His primary concern entering the presidential race, he said, was "not want[ing] to run a campaign that would be counterproductive to the progressive vision that so many people in this country share."

The 2016 Democratic primaries have been frustrating for many progressives who have had their political juices awakened and energized by the nonviolent political revolution of Bernie Sanders, his New Deal/Fair Deal politics, his democratic socialist candidacy and his support of oppressed and discriminated-against minorities (including Latinos, African-Americans, Native Americans, Palestinians, Muslims and the LGBT community, among others).

But the Democratic Party, once the mortal enemy of fascism, governmental rule by wealthy elites and fraudulent elections, has sabotaged, through any number of backroom deals (and with the willing help of the corporate-controlled media), Sanders’ highly respected, altruistic candidacy. The Democratic national leadership has unfairly denied him the well-deserved candidacy of the party. Because of the intransigency of their pro-Wall Street, pro-War Street, wealthy insiders in the party hierarchy, they will soon regret what they have done as much as the GOP will soon be regretting the choice of the xenophobic, paranoid, narcissistic megalomaniacal Donald Trump as their party’s leader.

The worst fears of Bernie Sanders’ supporters have been officially confirmed in the latest batch of DNC emails released by WikiLeaks.

On Friday, the whistleblowing website leaked approximately 20,000 emails that were allegedly sent by top Democratic National Committee staffers like chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz (who referred to a top Bernie Sanders aide as a “damn liar“) national press secretary Mark Paustenbach, and communications director Luis Miranda. This data dump is “Part One” of a series from WikiLeaks they are calling the “Hillary Leaks,” and Guccifer 2.0 has taken credit for the hack behind this first set of emails from the DNC.

The emails show an unprecedented level of collusion between top party officials and political reporters at establishment newspapers, as well as DNC staffers obviously favoring Hillary Clinton while devising ways to attack Bernie Sanders.

The slimmest of hopes, which got extremely threadbare in the last month, was nursed that Bernie Sanders might have taken his support base and made it into a third movement.  A US political scene so typified by the banking retainers, the counterfeit pioneers and fraudulent managers, could have done with a new force.

Sanders, having watered and cultivated a genuine counter to a Democratic stream so deeply compromised, ultimately succumbed to the Clintonite machine.  His July 12 message reads in part tones of regret, condescension and capitulation.  There is also that sense of self-deception.  “Let me begin by thanking the 13 million Americans who voted for me during the Democratic primaries.”[1]

Sanders proceeds to state that the “political revolution” (rather exaggerated) had commenced “to transform America and that revolution continues.”  Such wishful thinking can only assume form in the guise of a genuine electoral force, rather than egging Hillary Clinton from a well closeted behind.

Many Bernie Sanders supporters are holding out hope that by the time California finishes counting its 2016 Democratic presidential Primary ballots, he might emerge with a victory, a photo finish or something closer than the double-digit loss to Hillary Clinton announced by the Associated Press a week ago on election night.

That’s because out of 9.2 million ballots cast across California, 2.3 million remain unprocessed, according to the Secretary of State’s tally as of 5pm Monday. As 58 county registrars and their staffs keep counting ballots across California, the balance in at least three counties has shifted from an election night call for Clinton to emerging slight leads for Sanders. Santa Barbara, located on the central coast, is the highest-profile example.

While many hardcore Sanders supporters—such as National Nurses United executive director Rose Ann Demoro—are not giving up, there are reasons why the vote count is taking several weeks to complete, just as the slight shift in results in Sanders’ direction does not look to be sizale enough to change the primary’s outcome.

Bernie Sanders is a self-declared Democratic Socialist who believes that the US middle class and the working families who produce the wealth of America, deserve a decent standard of living. 

He believes that international trade agreements as written by corporate America, Wall Street and the political lobbyists, have been a disaster for the American worker.  He advocates comprehensive financial reforms that will focus on income and wealth inequality.

 

Sanders was a strong opponent of the US invasion of Iraq and the misconceived Bush ‘war on terror’. He is a strong advocate for a two-state solution in the Palestine-Israel conflict. This means that he is opposed to the right-wing extremist policies of the Netanyahu Likud government and its agenda of illegal settlements in the Occupied Territories. Mr Sanders is no fan of Binyamin Netanyahu and, therefore, no fan of AIPAC, the Israel lobby.

Investigate Time Warner's network, (CNN), for purposeful public deception regarding the Bernie Sanders campaign.

Vatic Note:  This should be no suprise to anyone.  Look at what happened to JFK JR when he announced his decision to run for the same seat in the senate that Hillary was going for,  and he had to die because of it.

So why are they letting Bernie Sanders live and run against Hitlary, especially since he is ahead in the polls, as was JFK Jr when he announced???  We all know what happened in the end.

As for CNN, they have committed fraud from their trusted position as truth tellers and watchers of the system for the people.   This below shows just how much they affected the results simply by lying about the facts.   That was to fool the people and that is fraud.

They purposely altered the story and then edited the video coverage to affect the peoples perceptions of who really won.  This below makes it clear what the poll showed after the debate and they (CNN) changed it to show Hillary as winner.  The MSM will be held accountable eventually.

After the Democrat debate aired by CNN on Oct 13, 2015, CNN themselves purposely altered the story, and edited the coverage video afterwards, along with deleting their own public online polls, with what appears to be an intention, to skew the public's perception of who was the actual 'winner' of the debate.

Their own poll showed Senator (I) Bernie Sanders clearly ahead of Sec. Hillary Clinton. With over 85% of online pollsters supporting Sen. Sanders, CNN reported, and continues to support the view that Hillary Clinton 'won' the debate.

Vatic Note:   Wow, this man had a chance to affect our lives in todays world, and that was back in 2010 and he passed up the chance.  But then, I don't really blame him, since the last President to do so, was assassinated.  That would scare anyone into compliance.   But the question then is "Do you want a President who would be intimidated by threats???"

So our choice on the dem side, is "Corruption" (Hitlary) vs. "Cowardess" (Sanders and both dem candidates) and neither is acceptable at this point in time.   Just think,  we could have avoided all of this by these khazars if he had left the amendment alone, but now we are living with it and not sure just how its all going to turn out.  Hopefully Rothschilds will finally go down.

If they try to take our guns that will be the "second shot heard round the world", just like the first one.   The first one ended in the American revolution and independance and freedom, and if there is a second one, I have no doubt, it will result in the same condition, only this time, more power will be given to the "People" for sure.     Anyway, you read and decide and let us know what you think.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) vigorously defended a compromise stuck Thursday altering his proposed amendment on auditing the Federal Reserve, calling the current language "unprecedented and historic" even in the face of critique that he had "sold out."
 
Speaking with reporters Friday afternoon, Sanders faced a series of questions on the last-minute changes to his provision, which came under intense pressure from the White House and top Democrats working on the pending financial regulatory reform bill. Late Thursday night, Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.) went so far to say that Sanders had "sold out" and that the new amendment "adds nothing" in terms of oversight.
