We don’t often question the typical world map that hangs on the walls of classrooms — a patchwork of yellow, pink and green that separates the world into more than 200 nations. But Parag Khanna, a global strategist, says that this map is, essentially, obsolete.

Khanna is the author of the new book “Connectography: Mapping the Future of Global Civilization,” in which he argues that the arc of global history is undeniably bending toward integration. Instead of the boundaries that separate sovereign nations, the lines that we should put on our maps are the high-speed railways, broadband cables and shipping routes that connect us, he says. And instead of focusing on nation-states, we should focus on the dozens of mega-cities that house most of the world’s people and economic growth.

I spoke with Khanna about several of the incredible maps from his book, which he uses to illustrate some proposals for our future world that might, at first glance, seem pretty far out — like dividing the United States into seven economic mega-regions or politically integrating North America. But with the world rapidly changing and urbanizing, these proposals might be the best way to confront a radically different future.

This interview has been edited for length and clarity.

One of the most impressive maps in your book is the map of the world’s mega-cities. You say that by 2030, more than 70 percent of people will live in cities, and that these cities matter a lot more than the countries that they’re in. What does this map tell us?

Vatic Note:  Well, another outpouring of our better paying jobs jumping over to China, a slave wage country.   This is where Trump makes sense.  If these companies want to sell these products back to America, then there should be a tariff placed on the goods sold rather than as it is today, where it costs the company nothing and they make all that extra profit from using slave labor.

With a Tariff, it eliminates at lease some of the abuse that the practice creates. And we get some of our money back home where it belongs.  Anyway, check this out and see what you think...  the article talks about the restrictions and otther obstacles to such business here, in the states, but it obvious neglects to tell us what these are.   Is that intentional?  You read and decide.

Vatic Note: Well, its about time this company is called to account for its business practices, and when the investigators are done, then they should investigate the actual meat used to make their hamburgers.  Rumor has it that they use a source for their meat, other than cows and that was probably one of the most disturbing allegations against them.

In trying to determine whether true or not, I could not find any proof one way or the other.   So that would definitely need an investigation for sure.   If true, they would need to then prosecute them for fraud on the public since they are selling the hamburgers as if they were cows meat.

There is no doubt in my mind that if the TPP trade agreement passes, the global New World Order is here and we will see a completely different treatment for such abuses by corporations.   If a NWO comes, it will be in the manner of a fascist state with our sovereignty completely gone along with our Constitution and freedoms, in our Bill of Rights.  Thus we must pressure our congress to not approve such a treaty.  If they won't listen, then recall them.

I strongly recommend downloading this or copying it to have for future reference.   Show the sheep and they will finally realize they are seriously at risk with this abomination of an agreement.    Freedom is not included in this document, since they intend to do away with all Rights and protections that we once enjoyed.  If they succeed in this, then I can understand Ron Pauls edict that "..... we will suffer a dark ages, the likes of which the world has never seen before" and after reading all this, I agree with him whole heartedly.

Analysis
 
The key to understanding this Chapter is to understand what the Beast actually symbolizes. For this understanding we turn to the visions of an Old Testament Prophet named Daniel. Like John, Daniel saw in vision the rise and fall of various "Beasts" . Unlike John, Daniel was given the actual interpretation of what the Beasts actually were. They represented the degenerate worldly kingdoms of Greece etc. (Ibid)

So, if we use the same "key" to understanding the Beasts that John saw, everything else seems to fall in place:

1. The above "Beast" looked like a leopard. From what I can ascertain, the only place that has a leopard as its symbol is in South Africa, so not really much to go on unless you look at the other two clues. The Beast will also have the voice of a "Lion" (England) and the feet of the "Bear" (Russia)

2. England represents a political system that espouses freedom, but is really carefully controlled by Monopolistic Capitalism. (VN: or , "controlled FASCISM which we proved was the case in WW II, where their corporations were upset at Germany's emergence under Hitler as a world economic power, so they instigated the war against Germany using "DECEPTION", what else, huh?) In other words, I believe the "Voice of the Lion" represents the political/economic promises of the West. Thus, by espousing political and economic Freedom the Beast is able to attract many.

3. The Feet of the "Bear" represents Russian Socialism and is really the base of this corrupt political/economic system.  (VN: is through bogus socialism (another deception) that fascism takes control of a nation)

US won't destroy poppy fields In Afghanistan

Opium poppy fields in Afghanistan


NATO has rejected an appeal made by Russia for eradication of opium fields in Afghanistan, arguing that the sole source of income in the region cannot be removed.

Addressing a meeting of the NATO-Russia Council on Wednesday, head of Russia's Federal Drug Control Agency (FSKN) Victor Ivanov said "Afghan opiates led to the death of 1 million people by overdose in the last 10 years, and that is United Nations data. Is that not a threat to world peace and security?"

The Russian official tasked NATO forces with "normalizing the situation in Afghanistan" which includes "the elimination of drug production."

Meanwhile, NATO spokesman James Appathurai voiced understanding for Russian concerns, given the country's estimated 200,000 heroin and morphine addicts and the tens of thousands dying each year as a result of their addiction.

However, he went on to say that the Afghan drug problem had to be handled carefully in an effort to avoid alienating local residents.

"We share the view that it has to be tackled," the spokesman said. "But there is a slight difference of views," Appathurai added.

"We cannot be in a situation where we remove the only source of income for people who live in the second poorest country in the world without being able to provide them an alternative. That is simply not possible," the NATO official explained.

According to statistics provided by Ivanov, Russia was the single largest consumer of heroin in 2008. Moscow blames NATO for the surge in heroin trafficking from Afghanistan to Russia.

The production of opium in Afghanistan has skyrocketing since the US-led invasion of the country in 2001.

While the rest of the world wants to be able to label unnatural GMOs, Barack Obama's USDA and FDA have adopted pro-corporate food positions GMOs. Unless we act now, the United States will go to this meeting telling the world that GMO foods are not different and should not be labeled.

GMO foods, by definition, are genetically different. By altering nature's design in order to withstand a barrage of chemicals and other poisons, humans are without question creating a new, different kind of food.

Washington - The U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments Tuesday in its first-ever case involving genetically modified crops. The decision in this case may have a significant impact on both the future of genetically modified foods and government oversight of that and other environmental issues.

The case, Monsanto Co. v. Geertson Seed Farms, revolves around an herbicide-resistant alfalfa, the planting of which has been banned in the U.S. since a federal court prohibited the multinational Monsanto from selling the seeds in 2007.

What I’m going to do is give you an introduction to three technologies that are becoming more and more important. The first is RFID chips, the second genetic engineering, and the third synthetic biology. This will give you an understanding of what is happening and where science is going.

We will start with RFID chips:

So what are they? They are Radio Frequency Identification Devices. An RFID is a microchip with an attached antenna. The microchip contains stored information which can be transmitted to a reader and then to a computer.

RFID’s can be passive, semi-passive or active. Active RFID’s have an internal power source such as a battery. This allows the tag to send signals back to the reader, so if I have a RFID on me and it has a battery, I can just send a signal to a reader wherever it is. They can receive and store data, and be read at a further distance than the passive RFID’s. The batteries can only last a short while. But the current batteries in the RFID’s can last for over a hundred years, because of their self-generating power. Ultrawideband (UWB) allows the small battery operated RFID tag to be sensed over fairly wide areas. For instance, GE Aircraft Engines in Ohio has installed five readers in the factory and it covers over 30,000 square feet so they can track everything within that area with only the five readers. That gives you an idea of the distance that can be covered by an RFID tag that might be on you or on equipment.

The readers can transmit over telephone or by internet to computers and they use satellites as well. For example, Digital Angel has signed contracts with satellite providers to transmit their data for military personnel location beacons (PLBs). These beacons use the COSPAS-SARSAT satellite system. This system has some 400,000 digital beacons around the world and it’s rising to some 900,000. By the year 2009 they plan to have a GL stationary satellite system that will enable them to find the location and details of any beacon. You may sometimes see these at night; the GO stationary systemscan track any beacon. Skiers sometimes use them so that they can be identified, and sailors as well, if they become lost at sea they will be able to be tracked. Anything that has an RFID tag can be tracked by a reader or a computer.

An example of such transmission is a chip sold by Zarlink. This chip is implanted in a person; it tracks problems and if one is detected, it alerts the doctor who uses a two way RF link to interrogate and adjust the implanted device. Semi-passive RFIDs have an internal power source that let them monitor environmental conditions, such as temperature and shock, but they still require RF energy from the reader to respond.

Passive RFID’s do not have a power source but use a signal sent by the scanner to power the microchip circuit to transmit back their stored information. Passive RFID’s are getting very small. Hitachi a few years ago produced a chip (called the mu chip) that was the size of a pencil point; if you take a pencil and put it on a piece of paper you get a little dot. That’s how small they’re getting. In 2007 Hitachi came out with a chip that was even smaller, they call it RFID powder. They are just like the talcum powder you would put on a baby.

Somark Innovations in Jan 10, 2007 announced an invisible RFID ink. This can be applied to cattle, prime cuts of meat, military personnel and it can be read through hair.

I brought along a couple of the larger size chips, and this particular chip I got from Gillette fusion blades. I bought one of the blades and you can see that on one side what looks like a bar code and if you open it up you can see parts of a RFID chip on the back. This one here is from the Gap. One of my daughters went to the Gap; they put the tag directly on the clothing and the instructions just say to remove before washing and wearing. If you put it up to the light you will see the RFID chip inside it. These chips are quite small and can be put on the back of labels. They would not be noticeable in badges or ID cards; they could even be put in the eye of a person, they are that small.

In order for chips to be useful, they have to have a unique product number and because of this, MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) started developing some standards. It’s called the AutoID Center. They then passed it on to the AutoID Group within the Uniform Clothes Council. It will assign codes and publish specifications, so if you have a company, government agency, or church you can contact these people and they will give you a set of numbers.

So let’s say there are three or five people in this room wearing the same white hat and each one of them has a chip on it with a different number. We could differentiate everything even if you’re all wearing the same clothes, it doesn’t really matter because everything has a unique number. MIT has the architecture of participation called EPC Global so if you go on Google and type in EPC Global and you will come up with the website they will give you instructions on how to apply and get chips. So if you want to chip yourself, your family, relatives, company or anything like that; you can do it.

It works with people who want to use this technology. One of many companies who sell the chip is called, Technic Imitations. If you have a company and you go to one of their presentations, they will give you books like this that tell you what the chips look like, how they work, the types that are sold, and what the readers look like. They will help you install chips in your company. It’s a very big business and it’s spreading very quickly.

Vatic Note:   What we need to understand here, is that globalization will only work for the elite IF they can get the population down to where they can control it, with such few numbers as they have,  to make us be the slaves they need and the carbon tax was the last tax after the horrific monthly fee on the health care, to complete that slavery.  Think about it, an $800 per mo, insurance premium, forced, and a $500 per month carbon tax would force a minimum of two jobs probably for both parents, then who raises the kids???  The state does.   Your imagination can take over from there.  Between the drugs in school to keep them sedated and the indoctrination while on those drugs,  it would take care of their future problems where they would not need the force to keep them in line.   That is the future they have planned for your children.  Nice huh?   I put up links here a while back on the Gates, and Rockefellers and Rothschilds meetings and funding of Eugenics since 1922 with Rockefeller and Gates is the new comer on the block.  Please rent the movie, "The Soldier" with Kurt Russell and see what that will mean for your children.

Vatic Note:  The only comment I have is the coincidence in timing of the referendum and these other two incidences.   Something is going on in Iceland.  Will try to stay abreast of it and let you know.  Just a reminder,  Netherlands, the home base of this mercenary army is also the home of the Bildebergs.  Could that be how that secretive military contract company could afford 200 billion dollars for the cost just to Iceland leaders for that base, not including all other expenses associated with setting it up???   Is this a trial run for the rest of us if we resist?

Editor’s note: It looks like defiant Iceland will get a mercenary force of the sort exposed in Hardin, Montana. The E.C.A. website brags about its “seamless compatibility” with NATO. NATO was formed under the auspices of the United Nations’ Charter. As the former U.S. attorney general Ramsey Clark has noted, NATO is “a surrogate military police force for globalization and U.S. world economic domination,” that is to say the domination of the international bankers.


A private company offering military support has expressed interest in working with the Icelandic government. Many Icelanders are strongly opposed to the idea.

The company in question is known as ECA Program. They are a private company that works in military training and support for governments around the world, and have most recently worked with India. Their interest in Iceland is apparently strong enough to warrant the use of images from Keflavík – where the NATO base used to be located until it closed in 2006 – on their website. They have already asked the Icelandic government if they can utilize the base for their private air force, and are willing to pay 200 billion ISK to do so.

However, the Campaign Against Militarism – in Icelandic group originally founded in opposition to the NATO base – is strongly against the idea. They point out that the comany’s background is shrouded in mystery, and that they amount to a mercenary group. Furthermore, the company was denied operation permission in Canada.

Iceland, although a NATO country, does not have a military of its own. In fact, the vast majority of Icelanders polled have expressed opposition to supporting military efforts in Iraq,

Are we a foreign occupied nation? Obama British, CIA and Dual Israeli citizen?

Vatic Note:   It appears an investigator was hired and much has come out now.  Only in court will the truth be known for sure, but the evidence is now sufficient for us to place it up for consideration.  If TRUE, we are indeed not only a foreign occupied nation, but also under the control of out of control intel  agencies.  Remember, no one ever leaves the CIA once in. It would explain why the military is used to guard the poppy fields in Afghanistan.   No evidence to show he actually resigned from the CIA for real.  Given all the gestapo police state acts coming through these past few weeks, it appears the behavior is matching the accusations.   We will see but keep it in mind as we watch.  If true we are now a territory of Britian, Israel once again.  Obama's mother was Jewish on her mothers side which automatically makes Obama a dual Citizen of Israel. He was also a british citizen on his fathers side and 8th cousin to Bush on the British side and an 11th cousin to Cheney also on the British side.   His passports for the time he spent in Pakistan would let us know which nationality he used to travel since US citizens were banned from traveling to Pakistan during that time. I do have addition links to prove Obama worked for the CIA based on the dates provided here.  Also remember Michelle Obama was a member of the CFR in Chicago, the original one, until the name was changed and the main CFR was moved and now the Chicago one is just a branch.

I recently had the great pleasure of talking with Dr. James David Manning who has been ministering to the people of Harlem since 1981. He is now the Senior Pastor at ATLAH which stands for All the Land Anointed Holy, Manning’s inspired name for Harlem as of September 14, 1991.


Dr. Manning heads the Columbia Obama Treason Trial which is scheduled for May 14-19, 2010 at the ATLAH building at 38 West 123rd Street in ATLAH, New York, 10027. Unfortunately, the Department of Justice and the Supreme Court have failed in their duties to uphold the Constitution and address the legitimacy and other questionable issues surrounding the White House’s current resident. So, Dr. Manning, being a longtime resident of the Columbia University area, the school that Obama allegedly attended, began an intense investigation into Obama’s educational background and discovered some profound discrepancies.

According to Dr. Manning, Obama (born in 1961) enrolled at the very pricey Occidental College in Los Angeles, California in 1979 and was recruited there in 1980 by the CIA which has made it a practice since its inception to recruit college students. He was, by his own admission, a “C” student, a dope smoker and a member of the Marxist Club at Occidental, a co-educational liberal arts college. In 1981, Obama allegedly transferred from Occidental to Columbia University. It is atypical for a student to begin their education in one four-year school and then transfer to another school. Columbia University requires that incoming students pass certain academic requirements which Obama apparently lacked. However, Columbia had a foreign student program and the CIA has major connections and influence with Columbia and the nation’s other educational facilities.

If the health care bill was such a positive act of reform, as establishment Democrats and the corporate media are pitching it, then how come it needs to be enforced by means of coercion at the hands of thousands of armed IRS thugs?

That was the context of the discussion during Ron Paul’s appearance on Fox Business’ America’s Nightly Scoreboard last night, as the Congressman continued to speak out against the tyrannical nature of Obamacare.

Paul emphasized the need to protect the private option in health care as a fundamental right for all Americans not to be reliant on the government for their services.

“During this debate they talked a whole lot about the public option, I just wish they would protect the private option, give us a chance to have it private, just like you should have a chance to have private education, home schooling, you should always protect that….if you always had a private option in medicine some of us could survive and at least we could set an example for the type of medicine that the people should be getting,” said the Congressman.

Host David Asman pointed out that it would now be illegal to have private health care and that people would be forced to buy insurance under the constant glare of the 16,000 plus new IRS agents being hired to harass people into compliance [2] to the new program.

Under Obamacare, $10 billion dollars is allocated to pay for 16,500 IRS agents who will collect and enforce mandatory “premiums.”

Paul said that the people who previously needed to carry the least insurance would now be forced to carry the maximum, and be hounded by the IRS as a result.

“This is a command society now and medicine is right at the forefront of this….16,500 armed bureaucrats coming to make this program work – if it was a good program and everybody liked it, you wouldn’t need 16,500 thugs coming with their guns and putting you in jail if you didn’t follow all the rules,” said Paul.

The Congressman highlighted the fact that people don’t trust the government’s record on social programs, pointing out that Medicare, Medicaid and the Post Office are all bankrupt, and that the majority of Americans have little confidence in Obamacare being any different.

Paul said there was a chance parts of the bill would be overturned if Republicans were victorious in November, but that the biggest threat to the legislation was the probability that the entire system would collapse, labeling Obamacare a “Horrendous new burden that we have placed on the economy.”

Experts believe "flying vaccinators" could eventually be a radical new way of tackling malaria.   The new approach targets the salivary gland of the Anopheles mosquito.

Scientists in Japan have engineered an insect producing a natural vaccine protein in its saliva which is injected into the bloodstream when it bites.

The "prototype" mosquito carries a vaccine against Leishmania, another potentially fatal parasite disease spread by sand flies.

Leishmania infection can cause painful sores, fever and weight loss and if untreated may destroy the liver and spleen.    Mice bitten by the vaccinating insect generated antibodies against the Leishmania organism, indicating immunisation.

"Following bites, protective immune responses are induced, just like a conventional vaccination but with no pain and no cost," said study leader Professor Shigeto Yoshida, from Jichi Medical University in Shimotsuki, Japan.

Rats fed on a diet rich in genetically modified corn developed abnormalities to internal organs and changes to their blood, raising fears that human health could be affected by eating GM food.


The Independent on Sunday can today reveal details of secret research carried out by Monsanto, the GM food giant, which shows that rats fed the modified corn had smaller kidneys and variations in the composition of their blood.

According to the confidential 1,139-page report, these health problems were absent from another batch of rodents fed non-GM food as part of the research project.

The disclosures come as European countries, including Britain, prepare to vote on whether the GM-modified corn should go on sale to the public. A vote last week by the European Union failed to secure agreement over whether the product should be sold here, after Britain and nine other countries voted in favour.
