Vatic Note: This is an excellent video with much technical information not only on the impact on Iraqi's but also on US soldiers and the specifics of how and why they get contaminated and are continuing to use this deadly mist of uraniam for what purpose? The next section we cover is the extent of training about DU that our soldiers receive and half of it is a lie by omission and after hearing and watching the above video, its now seriously a crime since the military knows full well what the impact is on our men from the residue from DU armament. Why are the refusing VA medical coverage for this problem? Its a form of murder to refuse to treat these men when the VA knows full well the DU is at fault. But then what can we expect if we don't clean up the battle field. It appears our enemy is "UNSEEN" AND NOT OUT ON THE BATTLE FIELD.
When the British asked us to clean it up, we refused and this was under both Bush and Clinton. So, why? What is the purpose of intentionally killing our own people and killing our so called enemy in this very inhumane way? Just read and listen to what has been progressively accumulating and spreading globally all over the planet. Remember, this DU mist is in the soil and water table of all these nations below that we have listed, not including those that receive the DU from jet streams and air movements to other countries. Have we laid the foundation for the demise of life on this planet? Do we have an obligation to stop this now? Are the leaders making this decision to use DU intentionally trying to eliminate all life from this planet? Is it intentional? It is truly beginning to look that way. And what should we do about it is the last, final and big question at this point. Do we have anything to lose by taking action now? Are we now in a position where we are required to literally act in self defense???

Depleted uranium, radioactive toxic waste that is a by-product of uranium enrichment, was first used in 1973 in the Yom Kippur war when Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and the U.S. government gave it to Israel to use on the Arabs. It is now used in Afghanistan and Iran, plus some European countries. Extensive studies by scientists have indicated that exposure to DU aerosols from DU munitions before and after they are exploded are poisoning soldiers at the scene and civilians who remain in their countries, since radiation contamination lasts for many years once it gets into the air, soil, and water. Some describe the spread of the material as genocide.

“I have watched too many of my friends die without answers, without treatment, and without benefits,” Sullivan said. He charged that the VA is doing little in the form of research, operating “in a vacuum without input” and suggested that if VA Secretary Eric Shinseki “won’t fix VA’s Research Office, then Congress must intervene and place Gulf War research outside of their area of responsibility.”

He also urged Shinseki to investigate “the improper and arbitrary termination of essential Gulf War illness research, since a July 15, 2009 report concluded that $75 million in Gulf War illness research at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center was ‘impeded’ by the VA.”

“Without any reasonable scientific basis, VA arbitrarily terminated UTSW research, potentially undermining more than 15 years of critical inquiry,” he said. Veterans for Common Sense “remains outraged VA’s Research Office has not been held accountable.” He said that the VA has not released information about who “impeded” the research and that a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request has been submitted to obtain documents about the “cabal of VA staff intentionally delaying research and treatment for our veterans.”

Sullivan pressured the VA to investigate the “adverse impact of depleted uranium, a radioactive toxic waste used as ammunition.”

He explained that in 1993 the Deputy Secretary of Defense ordered the Army Secretary to “Complete medical testing of personnel exposed to DU contamination during the Persian Gulf War.” “No medical testing was performed,” he said, asking that Shinseki “complete the research ordered 17 years ago.”

According to the U.S.-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a bioterrorism attack is “the deliberate release of viruses, bacteria, or other germs (agents) used to cause illness or death in people, animals, or plants.”

What hath we wrought? Depleted Uranium, affectionately known as DU is a carcinogenic heavy metal material that also emits alpha and gamma radiation. Ouside the body it's not too serious but inside the body it caused cancer and getetic birth defects in offspring. The symptoms of DU poisoning vary depending on what internal organ is affected. It can never be cured and DU will last in the environment for eternity. It is a waste material of the Nuke industry and in the battlefield it becomes aerosolized and thus its deadly dust particles become a permanent part of the world's environment. It cannot be cleaned from the environment--ever! Its use is unconsiousable and a crime against all humanity. The U.S. is currently producing it by the railcar load everyday and shipping throughout the world.

There's a ticking time bomb in Serbia, where doctors have reported a sharp increase in cancer deaths among locals and claim this could be linked to NATO's use of depleted uranium shells during the 1999 bombings.

“Over the last 10 years, I have seen many two-headed calves, six or eight-legged lambs and other anomalies among animals. Mutation is a normal thing, but when there are so many cases – it’s a symptom. Our nature is sick. And certainly – it has to do with depleted uranium usage,” says Miodrag Milkovic, a veterinarian.

Serbia is a beautiful country, but it appears to be dangerous to live in. After NATO used depleted uranium munitions there during the 1999 bombing campaign, military experts from Belgrade have registered an increased radiation level and claim the area is highly contaminated.

The Radojkovic family believe they are the victims of the Alliance’s military operation called ‘Merciful Angel’.

The family’s youngest son Nikola was just five years old when an air strike hit his family village.

“I remember nine bombs dropped on that day – they targeted a TV tower just a kilometer away. I was playing in the backyard at that time. The first strike made me fall over. After the second strike I held on to a tractor. A shock wave raised both me and the vehicle,” recalls Nikola Radojkovic, a victim of fallout from depleted uranium missiles.

The family thought that was the end, but the real battle was yet to come – the battle to save the boy's life.

Eight years after the bombing, Nikola felt he had something like a fish bone stuck in his throat. Surgeons extracted two tiny pieces of shrapnel. Later, a tumor appeared there which continues to grow. Doctors believe the two things are related.

”We had three operations here in Serbia, three more in Germany – it cost 40,000 euros. Almost every family here helped us. Now the doctors say we have to do two more operations to stop the tumor’s growth, and we need 20,000 euros more,” says Dragon Radojkovic, Nikola’s father.

In 2000, NATO disclosed that depleted uranium weapons were used during its mission to bring peace to Kosovo. The Pentagon couldn’t hide cancer deaths among NATO soldiers who were serving in the region.

Doctor Nebojsha Srbljak was among the first to raise the alarm. In 2001 he registered an unprecedented increase in cancer patients.

”There is no other place in the modern world where so many people and so many young people – aged between 30 and 40 – die from cancer. Blood and lung cancer are most widespread,” says Dr. Srbljak, Head of the Merciful Angel NGO.

In an animal hospital in the south of Serbia, one of the most-bombed regions, there is evidence of something going wrong. Ten years after NATO bombed the former Yugoslavia, the consequences are felt almost everywhere in Serbia. And as it takes billions of years for uranium to decay, the shadow of the ghost of the merciful angel will hang over the region virtually forever.

Doctors in Iraq's war-ravaged enclave of Falluja are dealing with up to 15 times as many chronic deformities in infants, compared to a year ago, and a spike in early life cancers that may be linked to toxic materials left over from the fighting.

The extraordinary rise in birth defects has crystallised over recent months as specialists working in Falluja's over-stretched health system have started compiling detailed clinical records of all babies born.

Neurologists and obstetricians in the city interviewed by the Guardian say the rise in birth defects – which include a baby born with two heads, babies with multiple tumours, and others with nervous system problems - are unprecedented and at present unexplainable.

A group of Iraqi and British officials, including the former Iraqi minister for women's affairs, Dr Nawal Majeed a-Sammarai, and the British doctors David Halpin and Chris Burns-Cox, have petitioned the UN general assembly to ask that an independent committee fully investigate the defects and help clean up toxic materials left over decades of war – including the six years since Saddam Hussein was ousted.

"We are seeing a very significant increase in central nervous system anomalies," said Falluja general hospital's director and senior specialist, Dr Ayman Qais. "Before 2003 [the start of the war] I was seeing sporadic numbers of deformities in babies. Now the frequency of deformities has increased dramatically."

The rise in frequency is stark – from two admissions a fortnight a year ago to two a day now. "Most are in the head and spinal cord, but there are also many deficiencies in lower limbs," he said. "There is also a very marked increase in the number of cases of less than two years [old] with brain tumours. This is now a focus area of multiple tumours." (Go to link for remainder of story).

What people don't understand is that Marxist parties don't want to play the democratic game. The want power, and once power is achieved, they will never leave the throne. Their goal is total control of society.

It is possible that since Hitler's burning of books in the public square, the world has not seen such a surreal situation: a protest inside the Journalists' Union FOR the censorship of the press.

Yes, you read it right. Lula's Workers party and some of their lapdog organizations are defending what they call "social control" of the media. Social control for them, is the creation of Soviets, comprised in their entirety of Communist groups, which would decide what to publish.

This comes in direct response to Media exposure of Party misdeeds. Contrary to the law, Lula is campaigning for his chosen successor, Dilma Roisseff, at state expense. Instead of acting as an impartial magistrate, he is engaged in insulting the opposition and declaring that Brazil history started when he took control. He has been fined several times.

The largest magazine in the country, Veja, has proved that Dilma's right hand and personal friend, Erenice Guerra, below left, has used the the Chief of Staff office (Erenice followed Dilma in the position) to sell privileges and contracts with the government.

Erenice's son created a bogus company to lobby and charges 6% for contracts that were approved with the help of his mother influence. We are talking about deals of R$ 9 BILLION (US$ 5 Bi).

Further investigation showed that many members of Erenice family were hired by the government to do nothing or were involved in other scandals. It is unbelievable, but Erenice will be followed in the Chief of Staff position by another woman who was involved in a huge scandal when her husband was a mayor and took bribes from bus companies. Later, he denounced the scheme and was found dead. The family says he was murdered by the Party. Nothing has been proved.

This is not the first time. Lula's son, who used to be a humble zoo keeper, created a bogus TV production company and was awarded with R$ 10 million in contracts from a state company. He is now a multi-millionaire.

Lula, cynically said that his son is a genius, like a Ronaldinho (from soccer). The corruption news came on top of another scandal, where Party militants were digging into fiscal data from the adversaries.

Because the press has (finally) realized that they are in a bad position, they probably forced their Marxist editors to print the truth. It is a case of too little, too late.

This week, the Party told the MST, the Landless (Fake) Peasants Movement, a terrorist branch of the party that invades lands and kills farmers, to make a blockade in several of the major roads that give access to Sao Paulo.

The goal is to destabilize a state that is not yet in their control and where they will lose big time. They hate the fact that Sao Paulo has drastically reduced crime and that people here just don't buy the populist lies of Lula. They have done this many other times, especially using the Teacher's Union, coming to a point of seriously hurting a governor who was suffering from terminal cancer and stopping classes for the children for months on end.

WHY LULA'S PARTY IS UNSTOPPABLE

1) They have a populist demagogue leader. Most people don't have a clue. Lula is surfing on the reforms of the former administration, which ended 20 years of high inflation. He and his party were against these reforms, but now he takes credit for them. He is also benefiting from a long term commodity boom which helped the economy. The former administration created the food stamps program: Lula can be seen in youtube making a statement against it, when he was in the opposition.

Now, he says he was the one who created it. Lula is portrayed in the international press as a humble worker who made it. This couldn't be further to the truth. In fact, he worked in the plant for a couple of years. After that, he became an union leader and never worked again. Dilma follows his footsteps. She has also never worked in the private sector, and was always held a sinecure created for her by a leftist politician. Her only real work experience has been as a little shop owner, which went bankrupt in one year. This is the next President of Brazil.

2) They have mobilized everywhere. Need a credit card statement to bash an opponent? A bank employee will give you one. Need the tax return of an adversary? A public servant will give it to you. And so it goes. They have hijacked the universities (Brazil now doesn't have one school among the best 200), the newspaper newsrooms, the state companies. The Unions now get one day of salary of every worker, even the non unionized, and are not obliged to tell where the money goes (Lula pushed a law for it). The common citizen doesn't have the time and money to leave work to go to a political meeting, but the Party has thousands of professional agitators, and can easily pack 100 buses with their Nazi brown shirts within one day of notice.

3) They have bought off the capitalists. The Party uses the BNDS, (federal bank) to borrow money from the banks at 12% and lend it to business owners at 3 to 5%. In the process, they make the banks happy and also get all the support they need from large companies. It is a fascist economy. This (US$ 100 BI this year) has tripled the internal public debt, but it gave a boost in the economy in times of election.

4) Because of the military government, and 30 years of brainwashing, people are afraid to sound conservative, and there is virtually no opposition. It is the victory of Antonio Gramsci's strategy of social and cultural infiltration. Gramsci is a Marxist author who makes Machiavellli look like a kindergarten teacher. Only leftist writers get reviews in the papers, only leftist movie makers get funds for production, etc. The Ministry of Culture has just chosen the movie with Lula's (fake) biography, a piece of propaganda that flopped at the theaters, to represent Brazil in the Oscars. I will not be surprised if it wins.

Unfortunately, the scandals have only scratched the surface of Dilma's candidacy. It seems we will have the first terrorist, bank robbing, murderer president of Brazil. People don't know that the last thing these Communists want is to help the poor.

In fact, they have destroyed Brazil's education system, and illiteracy is higher than when Lula took power. The ranking of Brazilian students in the world has dropped. Basic sanitation (sewerage) is in the same level. Health service is a disaster. 50,000 Brazilians die violent deaths, most because of drugs and guns that are brought into Brazil by the Colombian terrorist organization FARC, a friend and ally of the Party for decades.

The Church of Morris Dees: How the SPLC profits from intolerance

Vatic Note: Well, it just seemed appropriate that if the SPLC and their director was single handedly going after Americans as a representative of a foreign nation, that it was only fair we did some searching into Mr. Dess and looky what we found. This was an extremely enlightening article that we found and are reprinting from the year 2000, to show you just how long this has been going on. It appears all Mr. Dees fear mongering about Americans was because his multimillion dollar donations were way down and he needed more cash for his extravagant life style. This was about Scaring his donors with massive fear, into parting with their hard earned money. There are other most interesting additional items we have found with respect to Mr. Dees that, if true, would border on criminal. We will cover that later once we finish researching since its that horrific what we have discovered. If true, then he needs to resign and never ever pit our government against her people again, since he may well be of a much higher felony criminal prospect than any American he has ever slandered. I must say this was a very well documented and written article and scathing at best and brutal at worst, but in both cases WELL DESERVED. The biggest criers against hate are the biggest promoters of it. Only we discovered he has a major profit motive behind it. Pitting one group of Americans against another for profit and gain, is the most perverse abuse of his job that anyone could ever imagine. How ironic.

How the Southern Poverty Law Center profits from intolerance

Ah, tolerance. Who could be against something so virtuous? And who could object to the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Montgomery, Alabama-based group that recently sent out this heartwarming yet mildly terrifying appeal to raise money for its "Teaching Tolerance" program, which prepares educational kits for schoolteachers?

Cofounded in 1971 by civil rights lawyer cum direct-marketing millionaire Morris Dees, a leading critic of "hate groups" and a man so beatific that he was the subject of a made-for-TV movie, the SPLC spent much of its early years defending prisoners who faced the death penalty and suing to desegregate all-white institutions like Alabama's highway patrol.

That was then. Today, the SPLC spends most of its time--and money--on a relentless fund-raising campaign, peddling memberships in the church of tolerance with all the zeal of a circuit rider passing the collection plate. "He's the Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker of the civil rights movement," renowned anti- death-penalty lawyer Millard Farmer says of Dees, his former associate, "though I don!t mean to malign Jim and Tammy Faye."

The Center earned $44 million last year alone--$27 million from fund-raising and $17 million from stocks and other investments--but spent only $13 million on civil rights program , making it one of the most profitable charities in the country.

The Ku Klux Klan, the SPLC's most lucrative nemesis, has shrunk from 4 million members in the 1920s to an estimated 2,000 today, as many as 10 percent of whom are thought to be FBI informants. But news of a declining Klan does not make for inclining donations to Morris Dees and Co., which is why the SPLC honors nearly every nationally covered "hate crime" with direct-mail alarums full of nightmarish invocations of "armed Klan paramilitary forces" and "violent neo-Nazi extremists," and why Dees does legal battle almost exclusively with mediagenic villains-like Idaho's arch-Aryan Richard Butler-eager to show off their swastikas for the news cameras.

In 1987, Dees won a $7 million judgment against the United Klans of America on behalf of Beulah Mae Donald, whose son was lynched by two Klansmen. The UKA's total assets amounted to a warehouse whose sale netted Mrs. Donald $51,875. According to a groundbreaking series of newspaper stories in the Montgomery Advertiser, the SPLC, meanwhile, made $9 million from fund-raising solicitations featuring the case, including one containing a photo of Michael Donald's corpse.

Horrifying as such incidents are, hate groups commit almost no violence. More than 95 percent of all "hate crimes," including most of the incidents SPLC letters cite (bombings, church burnings, school shootings), are perpetrated by "lone wolves." Even Timothy McVeigh, subject of one of the most extensive investigations in the FBI's history-and one of the most extensive direct-mail campaigns in the SPLC's-was never credibly linked to any militia organization.

No faith healing or infomercial would be complete without a moving testimonial. The student from whose tears this white schoolteacher learned her lesson is identified only as a child of color. "Which race," we are assured, "does not matter." Nor apparently does the specific nature of "the racist acts directed at him," nor the race of his schoolyard tormentors.

All that matters, in fact, is the race of the teacher and those expiating tears. "I wept with him, feeling for once, the depth of his hurt," she confides. "His tears washed away the film that had distorted my white perspective of the world." Scales fallen from her eyes, what action does this schoolteacher propose?

What Gandhi-like disobedience will she undertake in order to "reach real peace in the world"? She doesn't say but instead speaks vaguely of acting out against "the pain." In the age of Oprah and Clinton, empathy--or the confession thereof--is an end in itself.

Any good salesman knows that a products "value" is a highly mutable quality with little relation to actual worth, and Morris Dees-who made millions hawking, by direct mail, such humble commodities as birthday cakes, cookbooks (including Favorite Recipes of American Home Economics Teachers), tractor seat cushions, rat poison, and, in exchange for a mailing list containing 700,000 names, presidential candidate George McGovern-is nothing if not a good salesman.

So good in fact that in 1998 the Direct Marketing Association inducted him into its Hall of Fame. "I learned everything I know about hustling from the Baptist Church," Dees has said. "Spending Sundays on those hard benches listening to the preacher pitch salvation-why, it was like getting a Ph.D. in selling." Here, Dr. Dees (the letter's nominal author) masterfully transforms, with a mere flourish of hyperbole, an education kit available "at cost" for $30 on the SPLC website into "a $325 value."

This is one of the only places in this letter where specific races are mentioned. Elsewhere, Dees and his copywriters, deploying an arsenal of passive verbs and vague abstractions, have sanitized the usually divisive issue of race of its more disturbing elements-such as angry black people-and for good reason: most SPLC donors are white.

Thus, instead of concrete civil rights issues like housing discrimination and racial profiling, we get "communities seething with racial violence." Instead of racially biased federal sentencing laws, or the disparity between poor predominantly black schools and affluent white ones, or the violence against illegals along the Mexican border, the SPLC gives us "intolerance against those who are different," turning bigotry into a color-blind, equal-opportunity sin.

It's reassuring to know that "Caucasians" are no more and no less guilty of this sin than African Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, and Hispanics. In the eyes of Morris Dees, we're all sinners, all victims, and all potential contributors.

Morris Dees doesn't need your financial support. The SPLC is already the wealthiest civil rights group in America, though this letter quite naturally omits that fact. Other solicitations have been more flagrantly misleading. One pitch, sent out in 1995-when the Center had more than $60 million in reserves-informed would-be donors that the "strain on our current operating budget is the greatest in our 25-year history."

Back in 1978, when the Center had less than $10 million, Dees promised that his organization would quit fund-raising and live off interest as soon as its endowment hit $55 million. But as it approached that figure, the SPLC upped the bar to $100 million, a sum that, one 1989 newsletter promised, would allow the Center "to cease the costly and often unreliable task of fund raising. "

Today, the SPLC's treasury bulges with $120 million, and it spends twice as much on fund-raising-$5.76 million last year-as it does on legal services for victims of civil rights abuses. The American Institute of Philanthropy gives the Center one of the worst ratings of any group it monitors, estimating that the SPLC could operate for 4.6 years without making another tax-exempt nickel from its investments or raising another tax-deductible cent from well-meaning "people like you."

The SPLC's "other important work justice" consists mainly in spying on private citizens who belong to "hate groups," sharing its files with law-enforcement agencies, and suing the most prominent of these groups for crimes committed independently by their members-a practice that, however seemingly justified, should give civil libertarians pause.

The legal strategy employed by Dees could have put the Black Panther Party out of business or bankrupted the New England Emigrant Aid Company in retaliation for crimes committed by John Brown. What the Center's other work for justice does not include is anything that might be considered controversial by donors. According to Millard Farmer, the Center largely stopped taking death-penalty cases for fear that too visible an opposition to capital punishment would scare off potential contributors.

In 1986, the Center's entire legal staff quit in protest of Dees's refusal to address issues-such as homelessness, voter registration, and affirmative action-that they considered far more pertinent to poor minorities, if far less marketable to affluent benefactors, than fighting the KKK. Another lawyer, Gloria Browne, who resigned a few years later, told reporters that the Center's programs were calculated to cash in on "black pain and white guilt."

Asked in 1994 if the SPLC itself, whose leadership consists almost entirely of white men, was in need of an affirmative action policy, Dees replied that "probably the most discriminated people in America today are white men when it comes to jobs."

Contributors to Teaching Tolerance might be surprised to learn how little of the SPLC's reported educational spending actually goes to education. In response to lobbying by charities, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 1987 began allowing nonprofits to count part of their fundraising costs as "educational" so long as their solicitations contained an informational component.

On average, the SPLC classifies an estimated 47 percent of the fund-raising letters that it sends out every year as educational, including many that do little more than instruct potential donors on the many evils of "militant right-wing extremists" and the many splendid virtues of Morris Dees. According to tax documents, of the $10. 8 million in educational spending the SPLC reported in 1999, $4 million went to solicitations. Another $2.4 million paid for stamps.

In the early 1960s, Morris Dees sat on the sidelines honing his direct-marketing skills and practicing law while the civil rights movement engulfed the South. "Morris and I...shared the overriding purpose of making a pile of money," recalls Dees's business partner, a lawyer named Millard Fuller (not to be confused with Millard Farmer). "We were not particular about how we did it; we just wanted to be independently rich."

They were so unparticular, in fact, that in 1961 they defended a man, guilty of beating up a journalist covering the Freedom Riders, whose legal fees were paid by the Klan. ("I felt the anger of a black person for the first time," Dees later wrote of the case. "I vowed then and there that nobody would ever again doubt where I stood.") In 1965, Fuller sold out to Dees, donated the money to charity, and later started Habitat for Humanity. Dees bought a 200-acre estate appointed with tennis courts, a pool, and stables, and, in 1971, founded the SPLC, where his compensation has risen in proportion to fund-raising revenues, from nothing in the early seventies to $273,000 last year.

A National Journal survey of salaries paid to the top officers of advocacy groups shows that Dees earned more in 1998 than nearly all of the seventy-eight listed, tens of thousands more than the heads of such groups as the ACLU, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and the Children's Defense Fund. The more money the SPLC receives, the less that goes to other civil rights organizations, many of which, including the NAACP, have struggled to stay out of bankruptcy.

Dees's compensation alone amounts to one quarter the annual budget of the Atlanta-based Southern Center for Human Rights, (VN: So what this proves more than anything is that HATE AND FEAR ARE PROFITABLE, just like war and fiat banking and that is all he cares about otherwise this would not be so nor the other good points made in this piece by this very brave author) which handles several dozen death-penalty cases a year. "You are a fraud and a conman," the Southern Center's director, Stephen Bright, wrote in a 1996 letter to Dees, and proceeded to list his many reasons for thinking so, which included "your failure to respond to the most desperate needs of the poor and powerless despite your millions upon millions, your fund-raising techniques, the fact that you spend so much, accomplish so little, and promote yourself so shamelessly."

Soon the SPLC will move into a new six-story headquarters in downtown Montgomery, just across the street from its current headquarters, a building known locally as the Poverty Palace.

Vatic Note: Take this article and put it together with the one yesterday about the congress passing a bill that gives all our water, land etc over to the control of the UN. If the Senate ratifies it, then the Law of the Sea Treaty will automatically be included which we have voted against now for over 30 years. Health, trade, military, TAXATION and now water rights are all globalized. The only thing left is political and religious which are both slated to show up on the horizon, anyday soon now. Its only if we cooperate that the courts can say your cooperation is an indication of a voluntary waiver of those rights. So becareful what you cooperate on and with.

A recent article about state governments seizing the rights to rain water off your roof, elicited a comment that almost sounded like it was relevant; until you examined the actual available data. Because the of the convoluted logic used to make the arguments in this commentary, we felt it necessary to dispel misconceptions many people operate under when it comes to the issue of water rights. This comment, crafted to look as though the government both state and federal is …..only trying to protect the rights of land owners….is a PR piece; gee….I wonder where this came from? C. First, in the western states, water rights are held for the beneficial use by the public and apportioned for use by seniority.

A. At one time this was true, but reinterpretation by the BLM of “public use”, “adequate use” and “beneficial use” have rendered seniority use as a part of property rights, null and void. This means you have no water rights to speak of; apportioned use is not even a consideration. Profit is all that matters and many states no longer recognize water rights as belonging to individual land regardless of what the previous statutes and laws were.

Because water is now declared by BLM to be a salable commodity, every effort is made to contract the allocated rights to water, to private corporations for use in strip mining, geo-thermal activities, and for sale to private corporations for diversions to far away places!

These private sellers have first rights to their allocation of water before any water is released to the “public”. On public lands either owned or controlled by the BLM, ALL waters existing above or below the surface belong to and are controlled by the BLM. They could give a crap if you have water or you don’t.

The private corporations BLM contracts with will get their “allotment” (the amount of water they contracted to buy) before you get a drop. This is done under the “multiple use” doctrine they them selves developed, whereby they determine what is not only beneficial use, but also “adequate use” of natural resources, including water. And where the rain fell is of no concern to them.

C. A water right is a property right. The first person to use the water has the better right; first in time, first in right. See the Colorado state constitution, Art. XVI, for example.

A. You will find that your state constitution has no relevance when it comes to edicts of the BLM regarding sale of, drilling for, distribution of, or use of, water and most especially not on lands that it owns or controls. BLM claims ownership and control of all water either percolating, or aquifer, or surface waters.

C. Second, rain water is river water is well water is spring water. It is all hydraulically connected (with a few exceptions). It all falls as precipitation. Left alone, the rain that falls on your roof will eventually reach the river on its way to the ocean. It may travel underground for miles along that course before joining a surface river. Someone along that river has a senior water right recognized under law that relies on that rain, and is waiting to receive and use it. The only difference between rain water and tap water is the point in time and space where it is removed from the hydrologic cycle and used. There are efficiencies in using rainwater directly for non-potable needs, but that’s an economic issue, not a legal one.

A. Sometimes I wonder who it was that sat around with enough time on their hands to think up this kind convoluted logic as the reason and rational as to why the “state” or the BLM should decide who can collect water (rain) that falls from the sky. Especially when you never know when it is going to rain, where it is going to rain, or even how much its going to rain. If its your water, why did it fall on my roof?

Does the BLM or state assume responsibility for excess amounts of rain and the ensuing floods? Do they have an added liability for the excessive amounts of water (rain) that collected on the lands of people you claim do not own the water?

There may be people down the line waiting to receive and use what was never in their possession to begin with (like rain) but that rain could just as easily evaporate, get sucked into dry ground or pool up in small depressions in the earth. Or it could end up in my rain barrel because I collected it. Either way, if it falls on my land; its mine.

4(Using the logic of the commenter, I would assume the commenter is a proponent of removing all water dam systems, man made reservoirs, and any other man made structure or pipeline that alters, halts, slows, diverts or stores water for later use, or that pipes it away many times into other states.)

C. The truth is that government is not banning rainwater collection; it is recognizing and protecting the vested property interests of the senior water rights owners, and preventing everyone with a water barrel from stealing the water rights that belong to their neighbors.

A. The government has no interest in your vested property rights and is doing everything it can to either make them untenable or to strike these claimed rights down altogether in the name of the “public good” (BLM profits).

What the government is protecting is the right of the investor (not land owner) to seize his water allocation as per contract and for profit. Otherwise, the corporations under NAFTA and CAFTA, could sue the federal government for erecting a barrier to trade. Both NAFTA chp. 11, and CAFTA chp. 7, claim the rights of the investor are to be held above those of the individual and/or state. You got no rights!

Making it a criminal act to collect rainwater off your roof, is not a ban?

C. That’s not tyranny, it is protection of private property under law. It is no different than me expecting the police to remove the trespasser from my front porch. The government is not stealing water supply; it is preventing people from stealing their neighbors’ water supply.

A. You claim possession of something that was never in your possession to begin with? This has to be the lamest argument I have heard in quite some time. Using this twisted up but carefully crafted line of BS…..I can only assume that Mexico will soon come knocking wanting THEIR water that fell as rain in Canada.

I am left with only two possible conclusions after reading this last statement by the commenter:

1. This is a BLM plant who is intentionally disseminating erroneous and blatantly false information. Or;

2. Someone hasn’t done their homework and just decided this must be the way it is. Personally, I think #1 is more probable. This is straight off BLM and its fictionalized propaganda pages meant to make you think they actually give a flying flip about your property rights or how thirsty you might be.

After demurring in 2007 as to whether or not water was a commodity, as opposed to declaring it a human right, The UN finally decided this year that water is a human right.

This was a U.N. declaration July 28, 2010

The US voted against it.

Vatic Note: I have to admit he is right about the unpopularity is not just because of their vote, it was definitely the glee, celebration, and laughing while the American people sat with dispair at what their legislative reps were doing to them without any compassion, regret, or reticense about having to do it. Americans are sending a pretty clear message to Congress members who have continually pushed hugely unpopular legislation this election year – shut up and get the hell out of office.

The recent success of Tea Party candidates hasn’t necessarily been too closely related to their actual policies – a new Gallup poll reminds us precisely why anti-incumbency fever is running rampant – people despise the government with a passion and that hatred shows no signs of abating.

The survey shows that the level of public approval for Congress – 18 per cent – is a new low for a midterm election year. A sitting Congress has never been more unpopular shortly before a midterm vote in history.

“Both the president and the Democratic-led Congress saw a sharp slide in their public approval ratings last summer, punctuated by a sharp drop in October. Their ratings subsequently leveled off, but fell slightly further this summer, and remain at the lower level today,” reports Gallup.

Increasing disgust and distrust of Congress can only be beneficial to a plethora of anti-incumbency candidates who are set to ride the wave of resistance to big government in attempting to overthrow the status quo this November. (See video below, its worth the effort)

Vatic Note: Well it does appear the raids in several states on anti-war activists did take place and in total violation of our constitution. So far it appears they did not take some of them into custody rather told them to appear before a grand jury, but they did take all their documents, computers, passports etc. Watch the videos below. The first one is the immediate reaction by their community in support of them, and the 2nd and 3rd are of one of the peace activists whose home was raided. It was all very strange, but what this shows is our sworn FBI people will carry out orders for the gestapo foreign occupying force controlling our country. We will try to follow this as close as possible. They are trying to say these guys were terrorists and yet they did not bring them into jail as they would normally for anyong they truly believed was a threat. So something stinks right there already.

The reason the right should be upset about this is because if this goes down without any outcry by the people being "UNITED" against such actions, then the next batch to be taken down will be the militia with thier 3,000% increase in membership all over the country. WE will keep you informed as we find out more. Remember also that Minn was the state that housed the RNC convention and police used gestapo tactics there as well, so this makes sense that the governor of that state would do this total violation of rights by cooperating with the neolibs doing this.

The many faceted local peace community rallied quickly to protest and to act against the FBI search and seizure of 6 homes of peace activists and a local peace office.

Computers, cell phones, files and records, passports were among items swept up in the early morning raid. This action came a few days after the FBI's Inspector General criticized the FBI for lying to Justice Department about raids and surveillance of peace groups after 9/11.

There was a concern that the FBI motivation covered support of Palestinians and Colombian activists. Targets were ordered to report to a Chicago Grand Jury in the future. There will be continued action against the FBI actions including protests to the FBI IG, and local members of Congress. There will be a rally Monday, 9/27 in front of the Minneapolis FBI office.

Glyphosate, the active ingredient in the world's best-selling weedkiller Roundup, (VN: MONSANTO also ring a bell? They have a ready round up "marker" in the actual seed itself) causes malformations in frog and chicken embryos at doses far lower than those used in agricultural spraying and well below maximum residue levels in products presently approved in the European Union. This is reported in research (1) below, published by a group around Professor Andrés Carrasco, director of the Laboratory of Molecular Embryology at the University of Buenos Aires Medical School and member of Argentina's National Council of Scientific and Technical Research.

Carrasco was led to research the embryonic effects of glyphosate by reports of high rates of birth defects in rural areas of Argentina where Monsanto's genetically modified "Roundup Ready" (RR) soybeans are grown in large monocultures sprayed from airplanes regularly. RR soy is engineered to tolerate Roundup, allowing farmers to spray the herbicide liberally to kill weeds while the crop is growing.

At a press conference during the 6th European Conference of GMO Free Regions in the European Parliament in Brussels Carrasco said, "The findings in the lab are compatible with malformations observed in humans exposed to glyphosate during pregnancy." Reporting of such problems started in 2002, two years after large scale introduction of RR soybeans in Argentina. The experimental animals share similar developmental mechanisms with humans.

The authors concluded that the results raise "concerns about the clinical findings from human offspring in populations exposed to Roundup in agricultural fields." Carrasco added, "I suspect the toxicity classification of glyphosate is too low. In some cases this can be a powerful poison."

The maximum residue level (MRL) allowed for glyphosate in soy in the EU is 20 mg/kg. The level was increased 200-fold from 0.1 mg/kg to 20 mg/kg in 1997 after GM RR soy was commercialized in Europe. Carrasco found malformations in embryos injected with 2.03 mg/kg glyphosate. Soybeans can contain glyphosate residues of up to 17mg/kg.

In August 2010 Amnesty International reported that an organized mob violently attacked people who gathered to hear Carrasco talk about his research in the town of La Leonesa, Chaco province. Witnesses implicated local agro-industry figures in the attack.

Carrasco is also the co-author of a report, "GM Soy: Sustainable? Responsible?" released on September 16 by a group of international scientists. The report documents a bulk of evidence in scientific studies on the harmful health and environmental impacts of GM RR soy and Roundup.

This report is released together with the testimonies of people who have suffered from such spraying. Viviana Peralta, a housewife from San Jorge, Santa Fe, Argentina was hospitalized together with her baby after Roundup spraying from planes flying near her home. Peralta and other residents launched a lawsuit that resulted in a regional court ban on the spraying of Roundup and other agrochemicals near houses.

CIA secret weapon used for assassination shoots a small poison dart to cause a heart attack, as explained in Congressional testimony in the short video below. By educating ourselves and others on vitally important matters like this, we can build a brighter future for us all.

The dart from this secret CIA weapon can penetrate clothing and leave nothing but a tiny red dot on the skin. On penetration of the deadly dart, the individual targeted for assassination may feel as if bitten by a mosquito, or they may not feel anything at all. The poisonous dart completely disintegrates upon entering the target.

The lethal poison then rapidly enters the bloodstream causing a heart attack. Once the damage is done, the poison denatures quickly, so that an autopsy is very unlikely to detect that the heart attack resulted from anything other than natural causes. On September 24, Jason Ditz reported on Antiwar.com that “the FBI is confirming that this morning they began a number of raids against the homes of antiwar activists in Illinois, Minneapolis, Michigan, and North Carolina, claiming that they are ‘seeking evidence relating to activities concerning the material support of terrorism.’”

Now we know what Homeland Security (sic) secretary Janet Napolitano meant when she said on September 10: “The old view that ‘if we fight the terrorists abroad, we won’t have to fight them here’ is just that – the old view.” The new view, Napolitano said, is “to counter violent extremism right here at home.”

“Violent extremism” is one of those undefined police state terms that will mean whatever the government wants it to mean. In this morning’s FBI’s foray into the homes of American citizens of conscience, it means antiwar activists, whose activities are equated with “the material support of terrorism,” just as conservatives equated Vietnam era anti-war protesters with giving material support to communism.

Anti-war activist Mick Kelly whose home was raided, sees the FBI raids as harassment to intimidate those who organize war protests. I wonder if Kelly is underestimating the threat. The FBI’s own words clearly indicate that the federal police agency and the judges who signed the warrants do not regard antiwar protesters as Americans exercising their Constitutional rights, but as unpatriotic elements offering material support to terrorism.

“Material support” is another of those undefined police state terms. In this context the term means that Americans who fail to believe their government’s lies and instead protest its policies, are supporting their government’s declared enemies and, thus, are not exercising their civil liberties but committing treason.

As this initial FBI foray is a softening up move to get the public accustomed to the idea that the real terrorists are their fellow citizens here at home, Kelly will get off this time. But next time the FBI will find emails on his computer from a “terrorist group” set up by the CIA that will incriminate him. Under the practices put in place by the Bush and Obama regimes, and approved by corrupt federal judges, protesters who have been compromised by fake terrorist groups can be declared “enemy combatants” and sent off to Egypt, Poland, or some other corrupt American puppet state – Canada perhaps – to be tortured until confession is forthcoming that antiwar protesters and, indeed, every critic of the US government, are on Osama bin Laden’s payroll.

Almost every Republican and conservative and, indeed, the majority of Americans will fall for this, only to find, later, that it is subversive to complain that their Social Security was cut in the interest of the war against Iran or some other demonized entity, or that they couldn’t have a Medicare operation because the wars in Central Asia and South America required the money.

Americans are the most gullible people who ever existed. They tend to support the government instead of the Constitution, and almost every Republican and conservative regards civil liberty as a coddling device that encourages criminals and terrorists.

The US media, highly concentrated in violation of the American principle of a diverse and independent media, will lend its support to the witch hunts that will close down all protests and independent thought in the US over the next few years. As the Nazi leader Joseph Goebbels said, “think of the press as a great keyboard on which the Government can play.”

An American Police State was inevitable once Americans let “their” government get away with 9/11. Americans are too gullible, too uneducated, and too jingoistic to remain a free people. As another Nazi leader Herman Goering said, “ The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. Tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peace-makers for lack of patriotism and for exposing the country to danger.”

This is precisely what the Bush and Obama regimes have done. America, as people of my generation knew it, no longer exists.

Vatic Note: What is evident in almost all the articles with respect to the slow movement toward a Fascist dictatorship, is that no one will use the parallels and serious comparisons to the rise of Nazi Germany and the elements that were progressively put into place AFTER A FALSE FLAG WAS DONE by the banker funded Brown shirts. Now why is that? It does not appear to be intentional, but even this article with the blatant and clear movement toward total control of information and speech, is highlighting how very deep and broad this movement into censorship is reaching. Looks like we may have to create a different "Project Censored", with a similar name to indicate the fight against censorship and then explain to readers why this is happening and how project censored has sold out to the neocons and neolibs in aiding treason against the nation. We NEED TO START CALLING THINGS WHAT THEY ARE. If the bad guys can call things what they are NOT, and get away with it for purposes of brainwashing, why can't we do the same thing only with TRUTH...... so people with learn the truth and thus result in truth being the enemy of the state. Time to seriously start fighting back.

9/11 research to be censored from ‘Project Censored’

The director of a prominent investigative journalism group has told reporters that the organisation’s work is being censored because it continues to highlight stories surrounding questions over the official explanation of events on the 11th of September 2001.

Project Censored is a long running non-profit national media watchdog group that was founded in 1976 by journalism professor Carl Jensen.   It is operated out of the School of Social Sciences at Sonoma State University, with both faculty and students involved in its preparation.

The project’s core directive is to highlight newsworthy stories that have been overlooked, ignored or actively censored by the corporate mainstream media.

The organisation publishes a volume of what it believes are the 25 most significant of these stories every year. The stories often originate from alternative media researchers and independent sources. The results are published in some major newspapers and journals.

In 2004 Infowars’ own Alex Jones was awarded second place at the Project Censored Awards for his unparalleled analysis of Patriot Act II, the freedom stripping follow up legislation to the first Patriot Act, passed after 9/11. The commentary subsequently appeared in hundreds of newspapers and other online media resources thanks to the diligence of Project Censored in shining a light on the issue.

According to its directors, the group’s work is being made more difficult now, however, due to censorship of Project Censored because of its ongoing commitment to cover 9/11 Truth stories.   9/11 Truth issues have made the top 25 Project Censored awards frequently over the past nine years.

Last week, Project Censored directors Dr. Peter Phillips and Mickey Huff explained the difficulties to KPFA’s Guns and Butter broadcast, a favourite “progressive” talk radio show in the San Francisco Bay Area.

They noted that for the first time, pieces they had submitted to publication outlet Minuteman Media on the evidence for a cover up of the truth surrounding the 9/11 attacks had been actively rejected. Huff explained that since Minuteman media had been taken over by a left leaning Washington Think Tank called The Institute for Policy Studies, the subject has been blackballed:

“We’ve never had an op-ed piece that we were contracted to do rejected, outright rejected, and it wasn’t just rejected because of some contractual issue or violation,” Huff said. “We were actually told specifically from people at IPS that it was because we mentioned 9/11 as part of a piece on state crimes against democracy.”

“What we’re suggesting is that the events of September 11th have all the trappings of a potential state crime against democracy.” Huff continued. “So we mentioned the scientific studies done by Stephen Jones and the open chemical physics journal, and we included Richard Gage and the Architects and Engineers group, 1200 experts now saying that the official science just doesn’t make sense and just doesn’t add up, I mean it defies everything we know about scientific methodology and so forth.”

“They literally told us that they were not going to publish anything that talked about 9/11.”

“We were dumbfounded, at first we were waiting for the laughter tracks to come up and be like ‘Oh we’re censoring Project Censored’, but they were deadly serious.” Huff stated.

But that is not where the matter ended. Huff then explained that after being informed by IPS that their pieces on 9/11 were “too divisive” and could “alienate readers in the heartland”, they discovered, upon attending the IPS annual conference, that IPS staff had no knowledge of these developments and after reading the piece, were of the opinion that it should have run.

Eventually, the Project Censored team were informed by IPS heads that they were no longer welcome to write for IPS or Minuteman Media.

“And here we are with ‘the good lefties’,” Huff continued, it’s a story of the power elite, of potential mass deception and propaganda that gets us into two illegal wars, eviscerates constitutional liberties, bankrupts society both economically and morally the world over, you’d think that it’d be a huge thing to debate on the merits of science and fact.”

“If you have a free press structure, there is no subject that cannot be discussed.” Huff added.

This is not the first time Project Censored has run into resistance owing to its refusal to back down on 9/11 Truth.    In 2007 Judges Robert Jensen, a journalism professor, and Norman Solomon, a syndicated columnist, severed their ties with the national media watchdog group over its decision to highlight the work of physics professor Steven Jones, who has provided analysis that suggests the explosive thermate was present in debris from the collapsed twin towers.

At the time Peter Phillips told the Illinois Times http://www.illinoistimes.com/Springfield/article-4202-over-the-line.html that he believed Jones’ work warranted the recognition:

“It’s a valid news story,” Phillips said. “It deserves to be covered. We cover stories that people don’t like. Our job is to talk about stories that don’t get talked about.”
