Noam Chomsky reveals the political mechanics behind his gradual expulsion from mainstream media

Noam Chomsky reveals the political mechanics behind his gradual expulsion from mainstream media

Ralph Nader and leading linguist Noam Chomsky engaged in a much anticipated discussion in early October on Ralph Nader Radio Hour. The two raised questions about changing the media narrative in a totalitarian-like state, and how Chomsky got dismissed from the mainstream altogether.

“How often have you been on the op-ed pages of the New York Times?” Nader asked Chomsky.

For Chomsky, the last time was over a decade ago.

“[I was asked] to write about the Israeli separation wall, actually an annexation wall that runs through the West Bank and breaking apart the Palestinian communities… condemned as illegal by the World Court,” Chomsky told Nader.

Chomsky would later pen a similar piece for CNN on the 2013 Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. But Chomsky has never been interviewed on the network; nor has he appeared on NBC, ABC or CBS.

Noam Chomsky appears on 'The Empire Files' on Oct. 25, 2015. (YouTube)

How Solar Panels Work

How Solar Panels Work

https://www.saveonenergy.com/how-solar-panels-work/

Date: 2016-09-27

Solar power is talked about a lot these days. Whether it’s a new solar panel installation on your neighbor’s roof or one of the growing numbers of solar panel “farms” located near many highways, this technology is showing up more and more in our daily lives.

This is an exciting time for solar power. According to industry reports, solar power made up about 40% of all new electric capacity installed in 2014. In addition, the nation’s solar capacity by the end of 2016 is projected to be double what it was at the beginning of 2015, while costs continue to decline and panel efficiencies increase.

The question many people have is: How exactly do those panels work? Unlike power from a wind turbine or even a power plant, solar panels don’t seem to have any moving parts -- so how exactly is that energy being produced?

Solutions for 2015 and Beyond on World Beyond Belief

Vatic Note:  This below deals with the stock market and currency system we live under.  Its good to look at this in perspective, and then discuss solutions to solve the problem.  When he discusses the "forgiveness of debt", that is a concerpt that exists in the khazar Israel system.... but that debt forgiveness is not for everyone, only those that the money powers decided were in their best interests.

These guys do a great job analyzing, educating and identifying solutions.  I get that there maybe a part 2 to this and I will watch for it and put it up when it comes up.  He even educates us about the stock market rules.  The Shumita is a khazar Jewish concept of debt forgiveness, but not for goyim.

How to pack your bug-out bag like a survival expert

Vatic Note:   These are the kinds of things we need to know, since we have been so disconnected from nature and survival living.

*** the ptb gutted this blog, before I even got my VN up, and I could not figure out why.  Now I know, its because they do NOT want us to survive out in the wilderness where they cannot control us and trying to find us will eat up enormous resources for so little return, tracking and finding one person at a time, and they need those resources for other repressive and dna altering projects.  so read this one and follow up with it.  its that important.  I finally found a saved copy in my files and thank goodness I saved it.

(NaturalNews) If you're thinking of assembling a bug-out bag -- and I strongly
recommend that everyone do so -- you may find yourself becoming confused by the boatloads of sometimes conflicting (and often useless) information you'll find on the web regarding the subject.

The first thing to keep in mind is that there is no one perfect bug-out bag that will meet the needs of everyone or every situation. There are as many different schools of thought and definitions as to what constitutes a bug-out bag, as there are people who have made their own versions, so no one person or website can be considered the single best source of expertise on the subject.

Taking Back Control: Who Sparks a Cooperative? Part 2 of 3 (How to start a cooperative)

Vatic Note: This section 2 is about the structuring and beginnings of building a cooperative.   Lets say we want to build a banking cooperative or "financial' cooperative.  This is how we do the fundamentals.   Naturally we have to adapt to our own needs, but the basic frame work is contained here in this section of the series.  Do not let the jargon or the amount of information deter you.  Its important that you know what "is" before you can change it to your circumstances.   The good news is, people know something is wrong and feel helpless.   When someone comes up with a plan, those who are afraid become grateful and feel empowered and will help to make this work,  stick with it and don't give up.

Who Sparks a Cooperative?

A compelling need and a few community leaders can spark the idea of forming a cooperative. Usually, these leaders have an economic need or desire a service they believe a cooperative can provide. They also know others who have similar interests.

These leaders can be business owners, manufacturers, growers, artisans, or citizens who lack, or are losing, a market for their products, satisfactory sources of production supplies, or services related to their occupation. Or they may wish to secure some other needed service or develop sources of additional income.

What Is a Cooperative Business?

A cooperative is a business owned and controlled by the people who use its services. They finance and operate the business or service for their mutual benefit. By working together, they can reach an objective that would be unattainable if acting alone.

The purpose of the cooperative is to provide greater benefits to the members such as increasing individual income or enhancing a member's way of living by providing important needed services. The cooperative, for instance, may be the vehicle to obtaining improved markets or providing sources of supplies or other services otherwise unavailable if members acted alone.

Distinctive Features

In many respects, cooperatives resemble other businesses. They have similar physical facilities, perform similar functions, and must follow sound business practices. They usually incorporate under State laws and require bylaws and other necessary legal papers. Members elect a board of directors to represent their interests. The board sets policy and hires a manager to run the cooperative's day-to-day business.

"The Tilting of the Earth Changes Everything"

Vatic Note:  There is a "Chinese Curse" that says:   "MAY YOU LIVE IN INTERESTING TIMES".  And given all this below, I believe the curse must have taken hold.   As you can see we have begun to track changes to the earth and the various events unfolding that affect not only our planet but the sun, and the entire  solar system.   So, lets recap what we have learned.

1. Every 3,500 years Planet X arrives, and this time it is not coming from the eliptical of the solar system, rather from the south or beneath the solar system which should already be making an impact on our entire solar system including the sun and planets,
2. We also learned that the solar system revolves around in the galaxy a body of celetial matter every 5,000 or so years and that is happening right now as we speak.  Its now beginning its move through the photon cloud which should last between 2 to 3 thousand years.  Its a period of intense increase in energy source and vibration, affects the electromagnetic sphere of our globe and has an affect on our sun.
3.  Add to that the 11 year cycle of the sun and we are now in the most active part of that cycle with major increases in not only number but intensity of sun spots.
4.  Now with this article we also find the earth has tilted on it axis sufficiently to make a noticable difference in its spin, magnetic poles and its relationship to the stars and sky.

So lots going on which is manifesting itself in increased earthquakes and volcanic activity and definite changes in our Magnetic sphere.  What we don't know yet, is what impact will this all have on us and this planet and its liveability when all four are present at once.   We certainly do live in interesting times.... don't we??? What a great adventure.  Think about it.  We will go through what the Sumarians went through and no one else since then until now.  What a great time to be alive and experience things that won't come around for another 3,600 to 5,000 years again.  We get to rewrite history by doing things "right" this time around.  .

"The Tilting of the Earth Changes Everything"

http://www.isuma.tv/hi/en/inuit-knowledge-and-climate-change/tilted-earth-has-changed-everything
by Ian Mauro, Isuma TV

Arguably, the most bizarre, fascinating and perhaps groundbreaking of all observations we've heard from Inuit is that they believe our world has tilted on its axis and this contributes to climate change. When Zacharias and I first heard this, we thought it was very strange, yet elders in all the communities we've worked in - Pangnirtung, Iqaluit, Resolute Bay and Igloolik - all believe this phenomenon to be true. In today's blog, we post a video from Igloolik elder Japiti Palluq talking about the impacts of a tilted earth, and unpack the traditional knowledge and science on this issue.

It's been very interesting to see elders and hunters across Nunavut make the same observation about the world having shifted on its axis. In most cases, research participants were not prompted on the issue, yet they began talking about it. Just today, we heard from another interviewee that "the earth has tilted", and Zach looked and me and jokingly said "did you tell him?". As a trained scientist, I know that a key test for "truth" is the repeated replicability of a research finding, independent of who is doing the test. Hearing Inuit across Nunavut make the same observation, using their traditional ecological knowledge, seems to pass this credo for scientific truth. So what data are elders collecting and analyzing to draw this conclusion?

Elders across Nunavut have noticed that the sun and stars have changed their position in the sky. The sun is now rising higher and staying longer than it used to. Importantly, in the far north, you must remember that the sun goes below the horizon for a large part of the year, and therefore Inuit are very familiar with its celestial pattern. Indeed, Inuit we're talking with are telling us stories about how in the old days, during the dark months, they would travel the land by dog team using stars as their navigational tools. So, when Inuit talk about the sun and stars, they do so with an intimate knowledge of these systems.

We've heard that the earth has tilted in the direction of the sun. Elders explain that this is why the sun is higher in the sky and there is increased and more direct heat entering the Arctic ecosystem. As Japiti explains, this has subsequently altered migratory routes of animals, warmed the ocean water, and thinned the ice cover. While this almost sounds like a fringe theory to obfuscate that fossil fuel use increases greenhouse gases, it is actually something has just recently been acknowledged by scientists.

When we began this project, I scanned the academic literature to see if there was any scientific evidence to support Inuit claims that the "earth has tilted" and thus causing climate change, but nothing existed. Now that we're in Igloolik, editing the film, and hearing this observation repeatedly, I hit the literature again. And, to my surprise and delight, two research studies have recently been published that relate to the Inuit knowledge we are collecting with video.

Drysdale et al (2009) published a study in the prestigious journal Science this past August that argues the Late Pleistocene (approximately 141,000 years ago) glacial period came to an end because of changes to the obliquity, or tilt, of the earth. Like Inuit, the study states that this is a possible climate change hypothesis "because of the relatively large and persistent increases in summer energy reaching the high latitudes of both hemispheres during times of maximum Earth tilt". Although Drysdale et al (2009) are discussing past climate change, their findings seem to support present claims by Inuit that a tilting earth may warm climate. In another study, published this past September in Geophysical Research Letters, Landerer et al (2009) indicate that the warming of oceans, exacerbated by melting glaciers that flow into them, is causing "horizontal mass redistribution" of the world's seas. Essentially, the weight and position of the world's oceans have shifted, and this has literally caused the earth to shift its position on its axis! In both the Drysdale (2009) and Landerer (2009) studies, the authors argue that these phenomena have not been previously reported, and that their findings offer new insights into how scientists and society should think about climate

change and its causes and associated impacts.

Indeed, Inuit observations seem tied to the technical science of long-term climate change, specifically the theory of the Milankovitch Cycles, which seem to predict natural planetary warming and cooling periods based on the position of the earth and its axis in relationship to the sun. See Wikipedia for more details:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milankovitch_cycles

In many ways, Inuit elders speak with the knowledge of astrophysicists and environmental scientists all in one, and so I'm just trying to catch up. I find it fascinating that for many years, elders and hunters living on the land have been observing and talking about environmental change that is now only being published by scholars working at the cutting edge of science. Indeed, Inuit are climate change experts, and their knowledge complements and in some ways surpasses scientific understanding on this topic. We certainly hope that our work shows how these two "ways of knowing" can work together to better understand climate change, arguably the paramount issue of our time.

Taking Back Control: How to Start a Cooperative - Part I of 3 (Strategy and Tactics - PtoP initiative)

Vatic Note: These will go up on the blog, but then retire to the strategy and tactics section of the People to people initiative. So look for them there when done. Its time to start talking about what we creative, resiliant, and adaptable Americans can do to change our future from what appears to be facing us down the road. If we can find the path, we can share it with others across the globe to become free and independant from those hell bent on destroying us and subsequently globalizing us into a fascist system (how do we know its fascist??? The Lisbon treaty that makes it a death penalty to protest). The total incompetence we have seen individually in each of our nations on the handling of our "national" affairs by the proponents of Globalization, is a proven indicator of what we can expect if they do succeed. I can't even imagine the out of control chaos and drama that would result from those least proven able to lead nations, taking control. So, this will be a series on options and recommendations and 'how to do" for each of us to begin using in our own communities. WHAT WE DECIDE TO SET UP DOES NOT HAVE TO BE NEAR AS COMPLICATED AS THIS IS,  simply use this as a model to test out by trial and error what will work for you.   Remember,  we are free people and we can do whatever works for us, regardless of the Powers that be who are constantly in violation of our legally structure governance system.

We are approaching this making certain assumptions about our basic needs as a community and as individuals. The first assumption was that solutions would have to be geared based on "Short term immediate" needs, and then "Long term sustainable" needs. Previously we covered some Short term, which was food storage for a year and long term was getting your county council to build grow domes, and finally recommending that it is prudent to immediately order non GMO Heritage seeds as soon as possible BEFORE THEY ARE BANNED OR DISAPPEAR, for short term use and long term storage. http://www.heirloomseeds.com/  (just a reminder). This time we are going to cover "COOPERATIVES". We are doing this because in the situation we are about to face, no one can do this alone, our greatest chance for success is working as community locally and growing out from there (once we pass new laws making psychopaths at all levels of society be committed to mental health institutions for life with no possibility of release.  Its the only way to ensure the bankers never get back in control.   lol )

(REMEMBER THIS IS SIMPLY A MODEL FOR OUR OWN USE.  EXAMPLE:  CREDIT UNIONS ARE PART OF THE BANKING SYSTEM, SO WE MUST ADOPT A MODEL OUTSIDE THE BANKING SYSTEM, THAT IS WHY THE MODEL IS GOOD TO USE, BUT ADJUST TO MEET THE SPECIFIC CHANGES WE NEED, CREATIVITY AND THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX)

We must come together to not only survive but to rebuild. So, cooperatives are the way of the future, in every area of our lives including banking, food, water, and medical.... along with other essentials. This is a basic overview to get us started by educating us to what a cooperative is, how it works, and its benefits. Once we complete that we will skip the agricultural section and move into the non ag cooperatives, hopefully for financial and banking since agricultural will not work under the current fiat banking system. WE must restructure our entire economic paradigm in order to succeed in any other area of our lives including agriculture. So come along for the ride. Please print this out and study each as we move through the process. REMEMBER, YOU ARE NOT LOCKED INTO ANY OF THIS. ADAPTING, CHANGING, CREATING ARE ALL VIABLE OPTIONS TO FIT YOUR OWN NEEDS AND THEN SHARE WITH OTHERS THOSE THAT WERE SUCCESSFUL AND THOSE THAT FAILED OR HAD PROBLEMS TO BE OVERCOME. Keep an open mind, this is simply a FOUNDATIONAL piece to begin the process.
