Just a few days ago, the entire world was shocked when they heard a leaked audio tape of Donald Trump stating that he “grabs women by the p****” and doesn’t even wait – he “just starts kissing them.”
He claims he’s sorry for the incident but still insists that it’s mere “locker room banter.” Even during the debates, he refused to acknowledge that he ever committed sexual assault, finally saying “no” after having repeatedly been asked on live television.
Now the White House is officially weighing in and saying that Trump’s comments amount to sexual assault.
“The president found the tapes as repugnant as most Americans did,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters aboard Air Force One.
“And I think there has been a pretty clear statement by people all along the ideological spectrum that those statements constituted sexual assault.”
That’s a pretty big statement coming from the White House. It’s one thing to hear it from the media, or from an opposing political party, but when the White House does it as an official press release, that’s saying something right there.
While Trump may be focused on the election, he is having a wave of bad news coming his way. Several more women have reportedly come forward saying that Trump also had “inappropriate contact” with them as well – he could even face criminal prosecution soon for it. World-famous civil rights attorney Gloria Allred has just taken the representation of several of these women accusing Trump of either sexual abuse or harassment. So far, she has yet to reveal any further information other than that she is gathering more evidence at this point.
“I cannot comment except to say that some women who allege inappropriate contact by Mr. Trump contacted me both before and after the release of the Access Hollywood tapes,” Allred told Patch. “However, I cannot reveal their names or the content of their communications. Their communications are confidential.”
“That’s about all I can say for now, and we’ll have to wait and see what happens next,” Allred told City News Service.
Here’s the testimony of Jill Harth who claims Trump groped her on three different occasions:

“He groped me. He absolutely groped me and he just slipped his hand there, touching my private parts.”
When the audio tape of Trump was released, she says, it was a relief that he admitted it to the public. Otherwise, she feared that people might not believe her.
“It made me feel like, see, this is what I was saying. He’s saying from his words what he does – how can they (people) not believe me now?”
President Obama also weighed in on the controversy over the weekend but without using the words “sexual assault.” This is the new development. The White House has decided that it’s best to call an orange what it actually is: an orange. The harsher tone better reflects the seriousness of Trump’s words and just cannot be excused away.
Trump has already admitted that he did this without their consent. He has admitted it to the world. There’s no denying it now. The White House is simply not letting it go unnoticed.
