Vatic Note: Please read what this environmental Engineer has to say which is what I have been saying all along. BP, KNOWS exactly what that chemical does and it is killing the gulf when it did not have to do so. Here is an article to discuss corexit that supports what he is saying. Scroll down half way and it begins at half way mark on what corexit is. Its a killer. Why then are they doing it? Remember, we learned that this chemical interacts with water to form a gas cloud that can travel anywhere in the US and when it rains it will kill our plants during the prime period of the growing season. It will be too late to replant new crops and the soil will be damaged beyond repair if it comes down to earth which it will. This engineer has been trying to get someone in government to listen to him and of course they can't hear him because they are TOO BUSY WITH LOCKING DOWN "AND CONTROLLING" ALL INFORMATION that goes out to the public and leaving the fascist BP in charge of all things that our elected reps should be dealing with instead of private mercenary contractors. . We must understand that means we do not really know what is going on or the impact of this on us OR THEIR INTENT given this has been known it was going to happen for sometime now. Notice once the public on their own put out all the indicators that BP knew and had this planned in advance, they finally came out over the past couple of days and said they knew, so they traded their stock instead of preventing the problem, IF ITS A REAL PROBLEM. Not necessary if its not a real problem. I said it before and I am going to keep saying it, THIS IS CHEMICAL WARFARE AGAINST THE AMERICAN PEOPLE BY OUR SWORN ENEMY. Just try to remember who owns BP and who owns the toxic chemical company and once you see that you will understand this is a war that they are conducting against us using fear for manipulating us into compliance, in fact they are so scared that I bet they begin to beg to be put into the camps just like those in Katrina. Now no food in the bay and the chemicals are killing the crops growing right now, so that will make those that do not leave without food or decent water.
Environmental Engineer: Dispersants Have to Stop Now

Joe Taylor, an environmental engineer in Daphne, says BP's use of the dispersant Corexit is wrong, and they will kill the Gulf of Mexico. And Taylor has the scientific knowledge to back up his claim. He's been cleaning up petroleum contamination for many years.
He says the sulfur and sulfuric acid based dispersant makes the oil spewing into the gulf sink, where its impossible to clean up--and where it depletes oxygen levels under the water, killing plankton and everything above plankton in the food chain. "Corexit is toxic, petroleum is toxic, and its depleting the oxygen levels," he says.
What's worse says Taylor, is that if he knows this information, so does BP. "They have a lot of chemists who are a lot smarter than I am, and they know this," he says.
Taylor says Corexit is a very good dispersant, but its being used by BP the wrong way. He says using it on the bulk of the crude bubbling out of the gulf is not what it was meant to do. Their efforts should be letting the oil rise to the surface, then skimming and collecting as much as possible. He says the dispersant should be used on what's left.
Taylor says there are several other products that are bio-friendly and work well with bacteria that naturally eat oil. But Corexit is killing those bacteria too. He says the dispersant Biosolve is bio-friendly and could even be used on the beaches. He said it would separate the oil from the sand, then a spray of oil-eating bacteria could be laid down to ingest the solid oil that is left.
Unfortunately, like so many others, Taylor has had a hard time getting the ear of any decision makers at BP. He vows to keep trying.

Be respectful in your comments, keeping in mind that these discussions will become the Zeitgeist of our time that future database archeologists will discover. Make your comments worthy and on the founding father's level in their respectfulness, reasoning, and sound argumentation. Prove we weren't all idiots in our day and age. Comments that advocate sedition or violence are not encouraged. Racist, ad hominem, and troll-baiting comments might never see the light of day.
Methinks that the above report is not true because detail is omitted from the "chemical(s)" content.
ReplyDeleteOne explaining effects surely could name 1 component! The attempt to inform does NOT ring true.
Well, you obviously do not have enough information to make that conclusion do you? Are you an engineer or chemist???
ReplyDeleteLets look at what we all do know and why we did not question his conclusions. We had a lot of information before this article came out, but let us help you get educated as to the toxicity of this chemical disbursant.... that might then throw a different light on the subject for you.
Toxic corexit disperant
Gulf Oil Spill health hazards Scroll down just a bit to the section on chemical disbursants.
Exxon Valdez used Corexit and the clean up workers have suffered serious side affects and illness from the experience. Now we have clean up workers at the gulf hospitalized from just such chemicals.
Is this a chemical warfare effort against Americans?
Read and decide for yourself, but first get educated before you draw any conclusions and remember its possible this guy with his expertise is somewhat more knowledgeable than any of us. Yes???? Unless you work in the field and with the dispersants??? Provide us with your background so we can judge credibility like we have his.
"Remember who owns BP ... our sworn enemies."
ReplyDeleteIs this a guessing game?
BP = British Petroleum - Do the British own BP ???
Are the British our sworn enemies ???
That's news to me.
What are you taking about?
Stop playing games and say what you mean.
If you rant too much, nobody listens, get to the facts.
Again, its difficult when someone does not even have the basic foundation of knowledge to even begin a discussion like this. The first thing I would recommend you do is find out who does own BP. Its not the British directly, but they are still around. Are they our enemy? lol seriously??
ReplyDeleteGee, let me think? WE are or was the greatest and most wealthy nation on the planet until Rothschilds people finished us off during both bail outs that were at least voted on not including those we didn't vote on. The Queens' family lost the colonies on a war they should have won in a cake walk. So, I don't know, what do you think? Think they are still trying to get us back again???
Once you know that then you won't make assumptions and then based on those assumptions, jump to conclusions. Just follow the trail.
There you go again, playing a game.
ReplyDeleteYou want me to go do research and find out who owns BP???
If you know, just say it.
I don't have time for these stupid games.
I like that the internet has given a voice to people with something important to say.
If you have "controversial facts" please give references.
But you really need to lay it out.
This modern world is a vast complicated puzzle.
Please don't beat around the bush.
Think like a scientist, not a politician.
Just from relooking at this conversation, I would say the only one playing a game on here is you. First of all if you look at the board, there is a "search" button. If you do not believe what I wrote then you can search for information on the Queen, britian and Rothschilds who own the bank of london. If you are unhappy with the results then there is always google.
ReplyDeleteThen you can see that Rothschilds also own goldman sachs and selects the Chair of the board for Goldman sach international who is also the chair of BP. Then you would find that Goldman sachs and the CEO are the biggest individual shareholders of stock, then you would find that Goldman sachs also owns (Rothschilds) the toxic disbursement chemicals being dumped into the gulf, for what reason we can only speculate since they simply do not share their private meeing plans with us.
Finally, it isn't so much that you are ignorant, its that you speak arrogantly and demand from others the results of their hard work, and do so with that arrogance. Now if you had asked nicely, I am sure this conversation would not have gone the way it has. OK? So, "Think like a social creature asking for something that you do not want to bother getting yourself, thank the people who did the work, and ask nicely if they would share it, admitting you do not have that information, rather than assuming anything."
OK? Rudeness will never work in most social situations, school yard bullies are seldom able to generate a willingness to accommodate them when they attack others for no reason. OK?
So, I will make you a deal. You act like a civilized social animal and I will think like a scientist, hows that for a deal????
