AMY GOODMAN: A week ago today, Hillary Clinton made history by becoming the first woman to accept a major-party presidential nomination. But Clinton is not the only woman running for president this year. The Green Party’s national convention opens today in Houston, Texas, and Dr. Jill Stein is expected to win the party’s nomination.

Despite its claims to want to unify voters ahead of November's election, the Democratic party appears to be pushing for an agenda that critics say ignores basic progressive policies, "staying true" to their Corporate donors above all else.

During a 9-hour meeting in St. Louis, Missouri on Friday, members of the DNC's platform drafting committee voted down a number of measures proposed by Bernie Sanders surrogates that would have come out against the contentious Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), fracking, and the Israeli occupation of Palestine. At the same time, proposals to support a carbon tax, Single Payer healthcare, and a $15 minimum wage tied to inflation were also disregarded.

In a statement, Sanders said he was "disappointed and dismayed" that representatives of Hillary Clinton and DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schulz rejected the proposal on trade put forth by Sanders appointee Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), despite the fact that the presumed nominee has herself come out against the 12-nation deal.

"Inexplicable" was how Sanders described the move, adding: "It is hard for me to understand why Secretary Clinton’s delegates won’t stand behind Secretary Clinton’s positions in the party’s platform."

The 2016 Democratic primaries have been frustrating for many progressives who have had their political juices awakened and energized by the nonviolent political revolution of Bernie Sanders, his New Deal/Fair Deal politics, his democratic socialist candidacy and his support of oppressed and discriminated-against minorities (including Latinos, African-Americans, Native Americans, Palestinians, Muslims and the LGBT community, among others).

But the Democratic Party, once the mortal enemy of fascism, governmental rule by wealthy elites and fraudulent elections, has sabotaged, through any number of backroom deals (and with the willing help of the corporate-controlled media), Sanders’ highly respected, altruistic candidacy. The Democratic national leadership has unfairly denied him the well-deserved candidacy of the party. Because of the intransigency of their pro-Wall Street, pro-War Street, wealthy insiders in the party hierarchy, they will soon regret what they have done as much as the GOP will soon be regretting the choice of the xenophobic, paranoid, narcissistic megalomaniacal Donald Trump as their party’s leader.

Both political parties have had their agendas shaped by corporate and militaristic billionaire plutocrats and Wall Street tycoons who have purchased large numbers of mercenary lobbyists, lawyers and federal and Supreme Court judges and also the loyalties of the vast majorities of elected legislators (both at the state and national levels) via massive amounts of campaign cash.The classic truism of “whoever pays the piper, calls the tune” still holds in 2016.

The worst fears of Bernie Sanders’ supporters have been officially confirmed in the latest batch of DNC emails released by WikiLeaks.

On Friday, the whistleblowing website leaked approximately 20,000 emails that were allegedly sent by top Democratic National Committee staffers like chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz (who referred to a top Bernie Sanders aide as a “damn liar“) national press secretary Mark Paustenbach, and communications director Luis Miranda. This data dump is “Part One” of a series from WikiLeaks they are calling the “Hillary Leaks,” and Guccifer 2.0 has taken credit for the hack behind this first set of emails from the DNC.

The emails show an unprecedented level of collusion between top party officials and political reporters at establishment newspapers, as well as DNC staffers obviously favoring Hillary Clinton while devising ways to attack Bernie Sanders.

The slimmest of hopes, which got extremely threadbare in the last month, was nursed that Bernie Sanders might have taken his support base and made it into a third movement.  A US political scene so typified by the banking retainers, the counterfeit pioneers and fraudulent managers, could have done with a new force.

Sanders, having watered and cultivated a genuine counter to a Democratic stream so deeply compromised, ultimately succumbed to the Clintonite machine.  His July 12 message reads in part tones of regret, condescension and capitulation.  There is also that sense of self-deception.  “Let me begin by thanking the 13 million Americans who voted for me during the Democratic primaries.”[1]

Sanders proceeds to state that the “political revolution” (rather exaggerated) had commenced “to transform America and that revolution continues.”  Such wishful thinking can only assume form in the guise of a genuine electoral force, rather than egging Hillary Clinton from a well closeted behind.

In December 2008, Bruce Lindsey, the Chief Executive Officer of the Clinton Foundation, and Valerie Jarrett, co-chairman of the Obama-Biden Transition Team, signed a memorandum of understanding that the activities of the Clinton Foundation would not “create conflicts or the appearance of conflicts for Senator Clinton as Secretary of State.”

During Secretary Clinton’s tenure, at least 181 individuals, companies, and foreign governments gave money to the Clinton Foundation while officially lobbying the State Department.

From 2001 to 2015, the Clinton Foundation raised over $2 billion in donations. From February 2001 to May 2015, Bill Clinton gave 637 speeches and made $132,021,691 in speaking fees alone. Hillary gave 92 speeches from February 2013 to March 2015. She was paid $21,648,000. While the Clintons made speeches to Goldman Sachs and Citigroup, it was the foreign donations to the Clinton Foundation that were the most disturbing.

In 13 speeches, Bill made at least $500,000. Eleven of those speeches occurred when Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State (2009-2013). All eleven of those speeches were delivered outside of the United States, including Russia and China.

Since people don’t give that kind of money for nothing in return, the question is did these donors get pay for play immediately when Hillary was Secretary of State or did they expect something only if Hillary was elected president? In his 2015 book Clinton Cash, author Peter Schweizer argues that foreign donors have already received a return on their investment when Hillary was Secretary of State through Bill Clinton’s speaking fees and donations to the Clinton Foundation.

There aren’t many things upon which Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump agree, especially as they court very different Delaware voters ahead of a primary on Tuesday. But the candidates for president share an affinity for the same nondescript two-storey office building in Wilmington. A building that has become famous for helping tens of thousands of companies avoid hundreds of millions of dollars in tax through the so-called “Delaware loophole”.

The receptionist at 1209 North Orange Street isn’t surprised that a journalist has turned up unannounced on a sunny weekday afternoon.

“You know I can’t speak to you,” she says. A yellow post-it note on her computer screen reads “MEDIA: Chuck Miller” with the phone number of the company’s director of corporate communications. Miller can’t answer many questions either, except to say that the company does not advise clients on their tax affairs.

The Guardian is not the first media organisation to turn up at the offices of Corporation Trust Centre, and it’s unlikely to be the last.

This squat, yellow brick office building just north of Wilmington’s rundown downtown is the registered address of more than 285,000 companies. That’s more than any other known address in the world, and 15 times more than the 18,000 registered in Ugland House, a five-storey building in the Cayman Islands that Barack Obama called “either the biggest building in the world, or the biggest tax scam on record”.

Officially, 1209 North Orange is home to Apple, American Airlines, Coca-Cola, Walmart and dozens of other companies in the Fortune 500 list of America’s biggest companies. Being registered in Delaware lets companies take advantage of strict corporate secrecy rules, business-friendly courts and the “Delaware loophole”, which can allow companies to legally shift earnings from other states to Delaware, where they are not taxed on non-physical incomes generated outside of the state.

The loophole is said to have cost other states more than $9bn in lost taxes over the past decade and led to Delaware to be described as “one of the world’s biggest havens for tax avoidance and evasion”.

But it’s not just big corporations that have chosen to make 1209 North Orange their official home.

Both the leading candidates for president – Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump – have companies registered at 1209 North Orange, and have refused to explain why.

Washington DC’s up-and-coming Bloomingdale neighborhood remains gripped by fear three weeks after the murder there of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich — with still no reported leads, suspects or arrests in the killing.

Rich was beaten, shot and killed early on the morning of July 8 while he was walking home and talking on the phone to his girlfriend. Police have said they haven’t determined if his murder was a botched robbery or something else. The killer or killers appear to have taken nothing from their victim, leaving behind his wallet, watch and phone.

Trump has so many known skeletons that weren't even in closets but were purposely overlooked by corporate media, that he should have been jettisoned from the Republican ticket long ago. Hyping neo-fascist Trump was necessary to take out Jeb Bush and his neo-cons. The long con all along, however, is the Trump fear mongering that has us running into the arms of neo-liberal Senator Clinton, as if she were the only sane, qualified, safe candidate. The DNC emails and election fraud in the Democratic primaries unravels the con and should send half the Democrats looking at Jill Stein.

Vote your heart this election for Green or Libertarian, because the numbers are in your favor and that of the nations. Assuming nation 50%/50% Republican/Democrat, Trump's decimation of the Republican Pary (another goal of the con) leaves only die-hard 1/3 (of 50%) to go down with the ship with Trump, gives 1/3 (of 50%) to Johnson (Libertarian), and 1/3 (of 50%) go to Clinton. However the Bernie or Bust movement is going to take 1/2 (of the other 50%) and give it to Stein (Green).

One speech in particular will be cited and quoted from as an example here, to show the type of thing that all of her corporate speeches contained, which she doesn’t want the general public to know about.  

This is the day’s keynote speech, which she gave on Wednesday, 25 June 2014, to the Biotechnology Industry Organization, a lobbying organization in DC, at their annual convention, which in 2014 was held in San Diego. The announcement for attendees said: “Wednesday’s Keynote session is sponsored by Genentech, and is open to Convention registrants with Convention Access and Convention Access & Partnering badges only. Seating is limited.” Somehow, a reporter from a local newspaper, the Times of San Diego, managed to get in. Also, somehow, an attendee happened to phone-video the 50-minute interview that the BIO’s CEO did of Clinton, which took place during the hour-and-a-half period, 12-1:30, which was allotted to Clinton.

Television news all but ignored Jill Harth’s allegations of illegal sexual harassment and assault against Donald Trump, her former business associate, when The New York Times reported on the story in May. In the months since, major news networks have continued their underreporting about the serious allegations facing the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.

In an exclusive interview posted on July 18 with ABC News legal affairs anchor and LawNewz founder Dan Abrams, Harth reiterated her allegations that Trump illegally sexually harassed and assaulted her when they worked together in the early 1990s. Although Harth’s claims have been reported before in the context of Trump’s well-known misogyny -- most recently by The New York Times and The Boston Globe -- media outlets continue to ignore the fact that Harth is specifically alleging unlawful conduct on the part of the self-proclaimed “law and order” candidate.

The last time Harth’s allegations were prominently reported was on May 14 by the Times, in a front page story based on over 50 interviews with women who have dealt with Trump as well as court records. Those varied accounts “reveal[ed] unwelcome romantic advances, unending commentary on the female form, a shrewd reliance on ambitious women, and unsettling workplace conduct” by Trump, according to the Times. One of the examples was Harth’s account, which the Globe had detailed extensively in April and which could at a minimum constitute illegal sexual harassment under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. As explained by the Globe, Trump allegedly sexually assaulted Harth on multiple occasions after Trump, Harth, and her former boyfriend entered into a business partnership related to a beauty pageant around 1993. After the short-lived business relationship collapsed, Trump and Harth were involved in a breach of contract dispute and a subsequent lawsuit that included Harth’s sexual harassment and assault claims.

Trump is a co-defendant in this lawsuit along with Jeffrey Epstein, a known pedophile playboy and convicted sex offender who has already served time for soliciting minors. Trump and Epstein had argued over who was to take Jane’s virginity. When Epstein found out Trump had “popped her cherry”, he became so enraged he brutally attacked, raped, and sodomized Jane while beating her with closed fists.

Many Bernie Sanders supporters are holding out hope that by the time California finishes counting its 2016 Democratic presidential Primary ballots, he might emerge with a victory, a photo finish or something closer than the double-digit loss to Hillary Clinton announced by the Associated Press a week ago on election night.

That’s because out of 9.2 million ballots cast across California, 2.3 million remain unprocessed, according to the Secretary of State’s tally as of 5pm Monday. As 58 county registrars and their staffs keep counting ballots across California, the balance in at least three counties has shifted from an election night call for Clinton to emerging slight leads for Sanders. Santa Barbara, located on the central coast, is the highest-profile example.

While many hardcore Sanders supporters—such as National Nurses United executive director Rose Ann Demoro—are not giving up, there are reasons why the vote count is taking several weeks to complete, just as the slight shift in results in Sanders’ direction does not look to be sizale enough to change the primary’s outcome.

In my mind & unspoken, I countered "what's on his mind that he speaks should be truthful and not so blatantly ignorant."

I am confident that had the Vatic Master run across the allegations of Trump raping a 13 year old 1994 and Trump's affiliation with known pedaphile billionaire, Jeffrey Epstein, [Trump] "I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy,” Trump booms from a speakerphone. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life."

... Had the Vatic Master known the above, she would have no longer been a Trump supporter. She would have published the article "Why The Recently Filed Child Rape Case Against Donald Trump Shouldn’t Be Ignored":

This August, Australian stargazers will have a rare opportunity to see five visible planets in the night sky at the same time with the naked eye. Anyone in the world will be able to see this event without a telescope or binoculars.

This August, they can be found together forming a line that stretches from low in the north-west to high overhead in the north. The planets are visible from across Australia for an hour or so after local sunset. Venus, Jupiter, Mars and Saturn are bright enough to be seen during twilight when the rays of the setting sun still brighten the sky.

Mercury, the faintest of the planets, is the one that’s most easily drowned out and it’s always a little tricky to spot. But don’t leave it too long after sunset before looking for the planets. After about an hour or so, Venus and Mercury will disappear below the horizon. The earlier you see them, the higher they’ll be.

The inherent laziness and efficiency of the Vatic Clerk almost guarantees this outcome, because the publication queue gets filled in the past when time is available with articles authored and published earlier than that. Themes and patterns arise that make sense to be grouped together, that further jukes with timeliness.

The Vatic Project has a goal of four interesting postings per day, appropriate labels, and "read more" breaks. When this is exceeded -- such as on Trump Day --, consider it a fluke rather than a commitment, trend, or benchmark.

Further, the Vatic Project has a goal of becoming a legacy and a research tool. Labels are instrumental to this end. After all, worthy material isn't always stumbled upon on the calendar dates they were originally published or made their first rounds through the echo chambers of "the internets." Not being first, re-purposing on the project doesn't have to be Johnny-on-the-spot.

The new Vatic Project management banks on two after echoes. The first echo is when worthy material finally makes its way out of the publishing queue in the future. Maybe it was missed or not considered by readers in the original internet rounds, so this reminder a little later is helpful.

The second vastly more important echo is for the latter day lurkers, seekers, and researches who make use of the Vatic Label Cloud to find content for their cause.

Behind the scenes, the Vatic Clerk has started the task of assigning and improving labels. The Vatic Project has over 7,300 published articles. The Vatic Clerk employed labels in the early years; the Vatic Master did not. At the present rate of labeling and Clerk availability, the first somewhat comprehensive version will be done in October.

We also know that the Israeli's created the terrorist ISIS and are using them to take over the middle east from the arabs and from the Jews, as well as Christians.  Lets not forget who beheaded christians in Syria, yup it was the terrorists who have no conflict with Christians, rather, the Khazars of Israel do as is evidenced by their Noahide Laws, where Christ believing is a crime and beheading is the penalty.  That was how I knew those beheading Christians in Syria were not true rebels, rather, they were khazars pretending to be rebels.
